I have no idea what that moral is, mind you, but there's definitely a moral somewhere.

How did I get this sack of money?

Well dont look a gift sack of money in the mouth.

Maybe the nakedness is the world suggesting me how to get the money...

I am not that desperate, I think.

Yet.

Somehow, this talk of things randomly appearing and nakedness reminded me of this.

But it's an Irish Christmas tradition, akin to the drunken brawl with the O'Hurleys.

The show Video Game High School features the incredible music of The Protomen! SO! AWESOME!

The show itself is definitely on the "Disney live action" style of shows, in that the premise is ludicrous and the entire set up is cartoonishly over-the-top. But it's moderately interesting so far, so I'm watching. AND THE MUSIC! The Protomen~! XD

Nah. I remember reading that series and wondering why Kemp bothered using slaadi. They're just used as generic outsider thugs... coulda' picked any critter really. (I quite liked the Cale books.)

I just had a cheeseburger (lettuce, pickle relish, 1000 isle dressing on a toasted buttered bun) and a cup of coffee for breakfast, and no surprise, my mood is much improved. Now back to race & archetype building...

I remember wondering the same thing. My guess is that he wanted chaotic evil shape-shifting bad guys that weren't demons (because demons were over-done), but were also alien and creepy and that he could conceive of his Big Bad offering something. Slaad fit that bill, and so were chosen. Also, they can seem kind of thuggish sometimes (although they aren't inherently).

Heh.

This show is so much daggum wish-fulfillment.

And... you know, I really have no problem with that. It's cute and fun. I like it. I'm glad S2 shows something other than the very strong FPS focus, though. That's nice! Also, it looks like Dean has become a friend - so that's nice, too.

I wonder if Brian,

... is going to come back into play again.

It feels weird to call it a "cute" show, but... the word fits, even if the word feels odd on the tongue. It's very cartoony and entirely silly and quite goofy.

EDIT: Hahah! Stan Lee!

Dude, it's late August Fall in Poland. When is it not "gray" outside the window (except for the occasional Indian Summer)?

Uh, I think either I dreamed September and half of October OR I have slept for 10 months...

We had some Indian Summer this year - and usually the Indian Summer is a norm through September, and sometimes into October (there were years when it spread into early November even, on other years in the past we had snow in late October, though they are more and more rare these century). It's mostly ended, though occasional days are still up like that.

Wow, it seems it lasts longer in Poland; at least longer than in Lithuania. I never recall it lasting longer than a couple of weeks at most.

September was always cold - Indian Summer was somewhere in the following three months, but I no longer remember which of them it was.

It happens sometimes but not always. And no wonder it lasts longer than in Lithuania - Lithuania is to the north and east of the coldest part of Poland, and farther from occasional warm wind current from over the Atlantic, more exposed to colder continental climate.

I been stuck on these letters since you know when
So I made up my mind, they're how each post must end
Look at me now, will I ever learn?
I don't know how but I suddenly lose control
Each signature takes a toll
Just one look and Green Tea Gamer flees
One more look... Oh I'm such a tease

H-m-m, those are my initials
My my, how can I resist you?
H-m-m, now it's official
My my, just how much I'd miss you

Yes, I know you're all sad I started
From these letters I cannot be parted
Why, why won't I ever let them go?
H-m-m, now I really know
H-m-m, I could never let you go

Yes, I gave up Green Tea's favorites for you
He's shaking his head to tell me that we're through
Am I deep in thought as Rysky has taught?
I think you know that this song is going way too long
Oh Off-Topic Forum I'm not that strong!
Just one look at my signature
Tells me all that I must endure, wo-o-o-o-oh

H-m-m, those are my initials
My, my, how can I resist you

H-m-m, now I really know

H-m-m, even if I say
Bye bye, leave me now or never
H-m-m it's a game we play
Bye Bye does not mean forever

Impus Major FINALLY got a decent school picture. It only took what? 11 years?

And in my best "Awwww" moment in years, Impus Major came in while I was going to sleep last night to seek reassurance over his horrific issues with sticking to homework when I'm not around to badger him.

After I assured him I'd support him through it, and I'd had similar issues even in college, he gifted me with this gem:

"Dad, when I grow up I'm going to work really hard just so I can be half the dad you are."

Little heart-melter!

Tac Definitely Gives TMI!:

The thing that really gets me right now is the cramping in my rear end's cheeks. Like that line of muscle fire that goes straight down the side of my cheek and stops right above the top of my thigh and causes my entire leg to just... stop. My body just goes, "Nope. Tac, you suck, I hate you, and I hate everything. I quit. Good day sir, I said GOOD DAY~!" and then I'm just kind of left on the ground with legs quivering entirely unable to walk.

I just feel kind of pathetic.

In part it's because I'm overweight. In part it's because I'm generally out of shape. In part it's because it's hard. In part it's because I rolled really low on my Con score.

(I'm pretty sure my player was banking on being able to turn me into some sort of non-evil undead before the GM was all, "Sorry, not available to you in this setting." or something. Dang it.)

It's funny, though. A couple months ago on that one stretch where you're basically doing a less-vigorous hoola hoop motion, I was all, "Why are we doing this? I know it's supposed to be a workout-stretch and it does something for me, but I get nothing out of it."

So, in an attempt to do work (instead of just pretend to be a little girl who doesn't actually want to successfully hoola hoop) I tried working it into a stretch. I finally got something out of it. I have been doing this version on my own time.

Exactly one day after the new kicks, and I'm all, "The little girl who lacks enthusiasm for her hoola hoop, please." and daggum does "uninthusiastic hoola hooping" hurt. >:I

There was nothing wrong with having this conversation in TGTG's thread, but it seems rather off of his chosen topics of interest, so I figured I'd bring it here.

(And I kind of thought I was posting here originally anyway. Whoops~! Phone navigation!)
