So, today's snow storm would likely have disappointed Freehold. Instead of the 5"-12" they were calling for this morning, we wound up with around 3". Of course, since the temperature stayed just above freezing all day, we also got a ton of slush and ice on the roads. This, combined with wind gusts of over 45mph, resulted in many accidents and closed roads. Thankfully(?), I had stayed here at work instead of going home, so I didn't have to try and drive through it all. Of course, this does mean I have to work tonight.
Morning FaWtL! I hope everyone is well and has a good day today. :) Coming up to a lovely weekend with my little one down. Throat infection be damned, it's going to be a good one.
Not sure how well it's being advertised (RNG knows I never venture outside of FaWtL these days), but there's a Pathfinder bundle currently available on the Humble Bundle site (where most of my games list comes from). Quite a few pdfs for a rather low price. Just leaving a link here for interested parties, Humble Pathfinder Bundle.

Do what certain British parents did when their school banned junk food and made all the kiddies eat apples and such, i.e. rock up and push chocolate bars/packets of crisps/turkey twizzlers through the holes in the fence.
Pinkerton was their whiney second album before Cuomo took a huge back to school break. Emo before emo was a thing. Maladroit was after Green. Make believe after that (okay), and then red.
Also, no, you don't have to take my word. You're talking to me on the internet. The internet. YouTube and Spotify exist. You want to, though, if you're like me and don't feel like listening to music someone else specifically called out as bad. :-P
I've got a lot going on, if I remember to see how bad Weezer sucks on various albums I most assuredly will, but the chances of that happening are slim indeed. :-)
Gamers are by far the most unreliable flakes I have ever met as a subgroup. I've met potheads more able to make a coherent schedule and stick to it.
Another group bit the dust this week because "life got in the way." Life didn't change. Nothing new arrived compared to the last two months we were playing, and yet somehow now two thirds of the group is too busy to meet a regularly occurring schedule...and when the rest of us offer to make it week by week as they're available they say sure...until about 48 hours before the game day THEY SUGGESTED and now, well, nope.
I would be suprised if this didn't happen an average of once a year for the last ten with multiple groups of different age groups and backgrounds, where the only two consistencies are a) gamers and b) flaky bastards.
After finishing Age of Ultron, I have to say, the most impressive thing about the marvel movies, is they made Captain America the one with the most depth of character, kudos to Chris Evans.
Mother Nature has a cruel sense of humor..
She hammered us with over a foot of wet heavy snow, forcing us to shovel just to warm back up to 50 afterward.just evil.
One of my favorite fails: Going to a web site, having it just plain broken (I'm using Google Chrome with no ad blockers, script blockers, or anything else. The link from the restaurant home page to the restaurant menu is just... broken), and seeing, "This web site proudly designed by xxx."
So... you're so proud of your web design that you don't even bother checking the live product to make sure it WORKS?!?!?!?
Sorry... I was hand-editing HTML back in Web 1.0 days so my students could get their homework, check their grades, etc., and every time I updated the page the very first thing I did was go to the live version to make sure the whole thing worked correctly.
Not doing that is... sad.
Being PROUD of not doing that is... an interesting adjective...
