I am having a devil of a time coming up with the color scheme I want for my next playthrough. As per my agreement with CH, I will be playing a vanguard. The first color scheme I did was all white (adept), the second and current was blood red(operative/infiltrator). Since its a vanguard was thinking of mixing two colors. Right now I have the odd idea of royal purple and gold trim, but that sounds Warhammer40kish. Any ideas? What says "vanguard" to you?
I've always thought that the more vibrant armor colors and textures in ME2 & 3 look like absolute crap in-game. Purple and gold sounds OK, though--as long as you keep the colors muted, Shepard won't end up looking like The Phantom.
For my three playthroughs, I went with all white armor for my Soldier, then gray camouflage for my Infiltrator, and finally iridescent purple-gray for my Adept.

FAWTLhouse FiveThere were some suggestions back around the 100k mark about what to call the seventh thread but it's looking more and more like we won't need one.
My suggestion was "FAWTL VII: FAWTL Attraction," but that one got shot down pretty fast.

nice, urban camo for infiltrator.
I'm probably going to beat me3 tonight.

FaWtLy Towers? Or have we had that one?
New mattress. While that's upstairs flolloping, the packaging has been taken downstairs, stuffed with old carrier bags and bubble wrap and will soon be suspended from a hook glued to the ceiling and used to practice the Deadly Arts on. What could possibly go wrong?
If we're making a film of us, I would like to be played by Alan Rickman or an egg on a stick, whichever is least expensive.

As long as it isn't...I dare not mention his names mattress for fear of summoning it. You should be alright.
Incidentally,. I want Kevin Bacon playing me, I like tremors

Doesn't white armor give a massive penalty to hit and provides less protection than tissue paper anyway?

Done lots of color combos and mostly play vanguards or infiltrators. I like deep green with red accents for a Christmas-like theme, or medium to dark blue with red or white accents, and there's a dark blue sort of color changing one in there too that looks good. The gold color for the armor came out nice as well. I don't always use patterns, they sometimes just get in the way.

CH, do you have a couple Asian-looking lady bard miniatures that you can set up around the glass? They could sing a song to it:
"Mothra oh Mothra
If we were to call for help
Over time, over sea, like a wave
You'd come, our guardian angel!
Mothra oh Mothra
Of forgotten kindness and ruined spirits
We pray for the people's spirit as we sing
This song of love"

Do the color schemes mean anything, or are you guys actually talking video game fashion?
Definitely video game fashion. But I am sure you had Barbie dolls when you were young. This is like that but with a FPS/RPG style video game to play when your done dressing your avatar.
Which brings up another issue with ME2... There are some outfits that have to be worn complete and can't be mixed or matched with other pieces, and that makes me sad.
