Scarab Sages

Of course, that last was possibly because he didn't take nap during the day.

Scarab Sages

Nekkid napping? With Charlie, these days you just don't know.

And late last night we were woken up by the boy crying. Wouldn't calm down until we put the night light back in his room.

We had removed it because (a) he broke the cover off, (b) he kept unscrewing the bulb, and (c) he himself had pulled it out the socket and brought it to us.

So, today the wife may try to go get a new one.

Preferably one that is more....resistant....to Charlie's destructive energies.

I say "resistant" because something that's "kid-proof" just DOES NOT EXIST.

Scarab Sages

At least, not in this reality.

Scarab Sages

All right, I'm done for now. Stuff to do.

:D

True, no need for demolition crews - just send in a bunch of toddlers.

Also, welcome Capt Wombat! I am a fan of marsupials and also of jams/jellies, so you seem alright.

its going okay. Looking forward to otakon next week but the inability to visit south carolina weighs heavily upon my mind.

Tonight's game is going to prove interesting. As it's the GM's birthday Saturday (with mandatory pub crawl) - her best friend is around, and going to play an NPC. Now she's never played before and her character will be a dilettante in a mystery game, which end's up quite mature-content. So I doubt any plot will be resolved.

Sorry to hear that :(

We should get together soon. The next few weeks are crazy for me, but after that things should settle down.

It's EVOLUTION, Zombie!

Designers come with a new solutions that cause children to evolve even more destructive potential!

Good morning. I don't usually call mornings good, but I don't have a fever at the moment and it's the first time in a couple of days, so that makes it good for me. I might even be able to eat breakfast. :)

Or at least lunch....not really keen on eating just yet. Not after spending the last 48 hours curled up with intense stomach pain....stupid virus.

RRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWRRRRRRRR

Certain local corporation is apparently looking for workers.

Incidentally, I gave my CV to a friend who happen to work at that corporation. When I asked him he told me he already sent my CV to them and will be vouching to me to superior tomorrow. He can't promises that they will call me, though. Still there is a chance for that.

Now, where I could get demo version of full Outlook (not Express) on which I could learn how to use it...

ROAR.

Bureaucracy is annoying me once more.

Liberty's Edge

Went to a free rock show at a local music store last night. Weird vibe. Three bands played, two of them fronted by the same guy. In addition, a bunch of the parents of members of all three bands showed up to watch and photograph the show, which was doubly strange because no one there was under the age of 21 or 22. I got into an argument with some NYC vegan hipster student chick, though, so that was fun.

that seems to be the thing nowadays. Everyone comes to your show even your folks. Not sure if that's a good thing or just plain clingy. What was the fight about?

The fact that she was a vegan hipster. Specifically the fact that she thought everyone else should be a vegan hipster too. Hilarious s&*$. I'm filing this one next to the last hipster chick I argued with, the one who thought my tattoos were "ironic" because "tattoos are something that working-class people get."

Liberty's Edge

They all seem to spew forth from Brooklyn and surrounding environs, too. Must be something in the water.

Really? This is the first time I've seen it happen. Also, yeah, it's weird and clingy.

Morning.

theparents I met at a show at the knitting room were damn proud of their kid on stage, but I think they were only a few years older than me and had their kid young-they probably met at that same venue several years ago.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy (hopefully) Friday! Not sure yet. Could go either way.

Scarab Sages

It all depends on whether or not I get out of work in time.

Scarab Sages

And that means I better get to business. Short and sweet. Later folks.

hi everyone.

I miss looking at Reaper Minis.

Oods on the next Time Lord?
