I once tried to write a story using first, second, and third person perspectives in different sections. It became a horrible mess, but it was quite fun.
Come to think of it, Mohsin Hamid did that in The Reluctant Fundamentalist (great novel, by the way).
My English-teacher in Gymnasiet (3-year education programs aimed either at work-preparation or university-preparation between the 9-year compulsory school and university) used to address her classes in the second person, which really annoyed me for some reason.

It can often feel like it's an order, or taking away your personal free agency, especially coming from an authority figure like a teacher.
A little less annoying in written/read format, where your access to information is by default limited to what the author is willing to reveal, whereas in life you typically have other options.
I saw a bit of it on japanese news the other day. I find first person works best for slower, philosophical texts - or more stream of consciousness ones.
First person smartass can be great.

Also, is that tree-covered area north of Spring Cypress Rd and around Spring Stuebner Rd private terrain or is it open to little zombieh and drowling invasion? (or maybe it's a part of Montgomery County Preserve?)

The catch is making it irritating enough to prompt rapid silence, but not so irritating that, in the course of ensuring said silence, the alarm source is damaged.
