Quick, everyone who believes in psychokinesis - raise my hand!

It's not that simple, really. Obviously you have to account for distance issues and range of capacity, and the majority of the time unless you're in a highly-concentrated psychic locale - such as here in Whispering Rock - you'll never have more than one or two true psychics in the vicinity of entire cities.

Secondly you're not properly attuned to the Brain Tumbler yet. Let me fix that and then we can start this over from the beginning. I'll need to see your signed wavier first though. Need to make sure my ass is covered, just in case.

Speaking of, put on some pants, man, for the love of God.

I'm a boat. Pants would look silly on me.

Sails then?

Makes more sense.

What you call "hell" I call "home"!

That explains a lot.

You are like one of those Dragon Age walking corpses animated by demonic spirit, aren't you?

I imagine that I looked too ridiculous to any onlookers to be mistaken for a burglar. I rather ungracefully flopped through the chest-high window. Fortunately, I did not have to break any glass - just pry off the screen and lift the window open.
good thing none called 911, things could have gotten ugly.

Breaking into apartments in broad-daylight... in New York :O

At least now you know how easy/difficult it is to break-in. (Just in time to move)

To be fair, it is a gated apartment complex in a suburban town. In other areas, the windows would probably have locks (as well as grates if they were on the ground floor).

But yes, it is alarmingly simple to get into my apartment without a key.

Morning, all. What did I miss?

The only animating spirit I have is an indwelling of cynicism, and I think that's beautiful weather to be envied.

Ah... Morning tea... Never mind its 1500.

Then, afternoon tea. With cucumber sandwiches, egg & cress ones, small buns and a nice pot of tea.

No sandwiches.

And its morning if it's less than two hours since I got up.

Alright, time to be responsible. Later FAWTLfolk.

Never underestimate mites. They may have s%~@ for hit points, but their vermin friends can be brutal.

That dungeon was such a blast for my group.

Mikmek the kobold survived a critical hit from the giant centipede, forever cementing his reputation as a badass to the rest of the party. He later became their Royal Executioner/Assassin.

The Oracle in my group got a crit card on the tick that switched placed with it. So suddenly she's standing with the chief on her shoulders and the rest of the party has the tick right in their midst. Everybody suddenly freaked out. Then the barbarian kicked it into the (now dead) centipede's chasm.

And the whole time I was doing this incredibly annoying "Nyyyyoooooooan" voice for the mites to illustrate how pathetic they looked and sounded. My players hate that voice to this day.

If I remember rightly, this was the beginning of the long string of "Oops I crit" "Oh no not again" random magic effects.

78 at 6 AM portends terrible things. Unless it portended a cold front, and 78 was actually the high temperature for the day, then OK, except for maybe the tornadoes.

I keep not noticing the 6 AM part.

That's not too far off from the low today here though.

I would squeal "DooooOOOOOOOOooooom!" in the highest pitched, most annoying voice I could manage when they used their doom ability.

It.....definitely stuck in my players' heads.

I'm supposed to have both these things done by the end of today, had planned to have them both done yesterday, and then of course I run into horrid problems that keep me from finishing either.

It's not looking good. :/

Yesterday, I finished making a list of the 414 most important gods of Planescape for my players as a reference (and, honestly, for myself as well. I keep forgetting how to type Blibdoolpoolp).

Did you know there are 21 different gods claiming power over the Sphere of War, but only one claming control over Pools? Talk about priorities!

And there are two Gods of Sleepiness.

Good but long movie.

Spoiler:
And, believe it or not, it's a French movie without Gerard Depardieu, Daniel Auteuil, Jean Reno, or Catherine Deneuve in the cast.

There's loads of great French movies, but your right it's hard to find one without Daniel Auteuil.

Thanks, that can be the film at the next French film night :D
