"We were told that you'd be able to give us a key to get into the sewers?" Asasha says to Milunka. "Any chance that we could talk to any of these witnesses?"

** spoiler omitted **

Asasha:
Pretty much common knowledge.

"We do not need investigators. We know what happened. We need someone to get rid of those pests! Now, do you need anything? If not, I will take you to the sewers entrance."

Male Human Vanguard

No wonder my father didn't trust the guard seems they never know what's going on or how to do anything. I'm sure when you asked the witnesses what happened you were sweet as sugar right, or was it with the same stick you are treating us the people who are going to fix your problem? We didn't ask for this Vanya sent for us not the other way around lady.

Kyth snaps angrily tired of Milunka's attitude towards everyone in the group.

Now if you have any I'd like a wand of magic missile or some alchemists fire so we can take care of your rodent problem. Since clearly it is illegal to get information from you or the witnesses.

Diplomacy:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
or intimidate:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Which ever that tirade would fit under better.

Male Human Vanguard

I'd like for it to be diplomacy suddenly. :)
Also I wasn't threatening just angry...

Female Elf (Forlorn) Witch 1; 6/6 hp; AC: 12, (Touch 12, FF 10); F +1, R +2, W +3, Perc +3/+5 Init +2

Shol'a'Saul puts her hand on Kyth's shoulder and as she touches him, a feeling of calmness spreads from her hand into his body. "Relax, here they do not mean us harm here"

Diplomacy 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Unfortunately the touch seems to have the opposite effect on him.

Male Human Vanguard

Yep Kyths hot headedness shall not be reigned in by words. Though he is done with his rant. He's not fond of the guard since he suspects they were paid to look the other way when his home was destroyed and his father killed. At this point he isn't saying anything any more just fuming.

Sargent looks at you and cocks her eyebrow. "I have a Sable Company to rebuild, raw recruits to train, no hippogriffs at all, since those gray b#!*#es slaughtered them all, nobles luring away my most promising men - and I have to rely on young hotheads like you to do the stuff that should be done by city watch or Seneschal's guard or by my own men, if I had any. So watch your tongue or you'll loose it - with your head attached!" She snorts. "Wand indeed! You think I piss magic potions as well? Now, do any of you lot have any equipment requests that I can fulfill, or not? If you are ready to venture into the sewers, than let's go!"

"Might be nice to have some silver weapons so we can actually hurt the bloody things," Asasha chimes in with a smile. "just as a lone of course?"

"At least silvered. Prepare a list of types of weapons and number. You may do that here. I'll return in half an hour."

Male Human Vanguard

Kyth glares at the women and before he can say anything he could swear could hear a voice.
Control your self before you embarrass both of us you more.
He blinks in confusion for a moment and looks around.

Quick preview of Heaven's Fury before it actually becomes sentient also would it be alright to do that every once in a while, basically so that it doesn't randomly become intelligent it would have no powers other than for me to hear it. I can't respond, nor do I even know it is from the sword until I get the feats and abilities from Item Familiar which Night already gave me permission to use on my sword.

I get the feeling she doesn't like me. Maybe if they were more forth coming this wouldn't be such an issue. Also if someone would ask her for some silver tipped arrows I'd be very appreciative.
Kyth says some what sheepishly, but you can tell he is still very angry and confused about something.

Male 1/2 elf Rogue 1

"I prefer not to get too close if possible". "Maybe some arrows with cold iron tips". "or even some cold iron bands for my staff". "But really anything will be good". "Half an hour it is".

Female Elf (Forlorn) Witch 1; 6/6 hp; AC: 12, (Touch 12, FF 10); F +1, R +2, W +3, Perc +3/+5 Init +2

Shol'a'saul speaks up quietly, "I am no combatant, but perhaps a silvered sickle would be helpful? also some antiplague vials to resist the effects of the lycanthropy disease would be prudent."

Male Human Fighter 1 35xp

Looks like I'll have someone else getting me into trouble. Hope he makes at least a decent replacement for Manuel.

I'll need a falchion and a star-knife if it's not too much trouble.

Female Human Oracle (Flame) 1

I'll be needing four,.. actually make that six daggers, as well balanced as possible and two shortswords.

Male Human Vanguard

Can some one ask her for any oil of silversheen maybe 2 or 3 as I'm not comfortable using any blade other than Heaven's Fury here. I don't think she'd give me any if I asked her.

Kyth says as he slides Fury from its sheath with the hushed sound of steel on wood and slides it back.

I will be needing a silver scythe and perhaps a back-up sickle just in case.

Dark Archive

"Very well. That I can do." She leaves and returns some time later, bringing a crate with weapons you asked. She lets you take what you need and then asks: "Ready?" Not waiting for your answers, she leads you down the corridors and stairways into what obviously used to be cellar before the fire, then even further down and down, until you reach a strong iron door with two guards in front of it. "Now, through that door and good luck! Be careful, stairs on the other side are old, crumbly and slippery. There is not much room, so you will have to walk in a single file."

Male Human Vanguard

Wow, not sure why I thought there was an oil of silversheen been checking now and don't see anything so I guess I'll just suck up the DR and deal with it. What's the marching order going to be?

Female Human Oracle (Flame) 1

"OK boys and girls," says Asasha, slancing at the others. "normaly i'd be happy to scout up ahead, at least that's what i usually to do when me and Kitty-Kat get into these types of situations. Unfortunatley i don't see all that well in the dark. Anyone got a light?

Female Elf (Forlorn) Witch 1; 6/6 hp; AC: 12, (Touch 12, FF 10); F +1, R +2, W +3, Perc +3/+5 Init +2

In response to the query from Asasha, a softly glowing sphere of light appears in Shol'a'saul's hand, centered on a black pebble. She hands it to Asasha, and says quietly, "This should suffice, no?"

Dark Archive

I'm gonna need your marching order, guys.

Male Human Vanguard

I'd go with Asasha in front so she can check for traps followed by Katallin then then me since I'm useless in the back rows casters in the center Christophe in back since he can fire over us with his bow. Any other plans are welcome too.

Male Human Vanguard

Here's alittle more. Kyth says as four lights glow around him and spread out one slightly ahead of the group the other two spaced between and the last one slightly behind.

Sounds good to me.

Male Human Fighter 1 35xp

Just remember Asasha not to get too far ahead, I can't do much of anything if I can't see you, like that time in the big warehouse off Moon St. when you ran into the stirge nest.

Male Human Vanguard

Kyth follows Katallin when ever he begins to move. Drawing Tempest as he goes, a faint red light coming from the blade.

The light is just fluff to describe arcane strike, and yes the blades name has been changed because it sounds better.

Female Human Oracle (Flame) 1

Thanks Shol says Asasha recieveing the glowing pebble and giving a quick grin to the Witch. She then pulls open the door and looks into the darkness. At Kat's words she glances back. They wouldn't have been a problem if you hadn't been so noisy as to wake them up with your clumsy stomping. she says, smiling at the tall fighter.

Holding the glowing pebble aloft in her left hand she beggins picking her way carefully down the stairs.

in case we need to make any Acrobatics checks not to fall over etc.

Zariah stays near the middle of the group her hood pulled up, lending an aura of mystery to her beauty.

Male Human Fighter 1 35xp

The Great Katallin says a quiet prayer to Desna and lifts the silvered sword to the ready before following Asasha down the stairs.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20

Male 1/2 elf Rogue 1

Kristophe would like to have a melee fighter in the complete rear of the group, with him next to the back. Not all threats come from the front, and his nightvision might help.

Nightflier, at this point I'd go ahead and just place us using our comments for guidance. Don't want to see this slow the game down. If nobody said anything about where they want to be, maybe they will next time.

Male Human Vanguard

I'll take the rear then if you think that's best. My plan was intended to be built upon any way, I'm in no way a strategist I'm horrible at checkers or chests to aggressive.

Dark Archive

Milunka gives one of you a map of the sewers. "This here is the nest of the rats that we were aware of during the troubles. I would suggest you start from there." She waves you forward and shuts the gate behind you when the last one passes.

The staircase is in bad repair, but you manage to get down with no trouble. Air smells bad, which can be expected from the sewers, of course, but for some reason it seems to you that it smells even worse than it should.

You follow the map for several miles along the straight tunnels alongside cloaca until you came to the part designated on your map as the wererat's nest. There is huge iron portcullis blocking your way, with no obvious keyhole or opening mechanism.

Male Human Vanguard

Knowledge arcana1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11

To see if there is some magic trigger, unless I can't get close enough to check.

Male Human Fighter 1 35xp

The Great Katallin walks up to the portcullis and attempts to lift it out of the way.

Strength: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

The Great Katallin gives it a solid try.

Female Human Oracle (Flame) 1

Asasha will search the immendiate area. Is these any kind of opening mechanism visable on the other side?

any chance of squeezing through the portcullis if anything's visable?

perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

Strength and agility fail to give you passage through the iron bars.

Perception, everybody.

Perception DC 15:
A feet from the iron bars there is a loose stone in the wall. Perhaps that is the way to open portcullis.

Female Human Oracle (Flame) 1

What's this? Asasha says heading over to a spot about a foot from the portcullis where she brgins to examine a loose stone apparently no different from any other.

oops, little bit late :S been busy but now back to regular posting

Perception1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 & Detect Magic

Galrian notice an odd stone from the rest of the wall and soon Asasha is heading toward it. Stepping closer towards Asasha, Galrian touches her shoulder and slowly mutter words to her Goddess Young soul, old body, through my touch grant others the chance

Cast Guidance and Resistance to Asasha

Male 1/2 elf Rogue 1

Kristophe had noticed the uneven spot on the wall, but let those closest to it trouble with it. He watches the portcullis, and the water around it for any signs of trouble.

1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15 Perception

Well he's consistent anyway. Obviously the odor down here is stinging his normally sharp eyes

Male

Oh damn! My mistake: Perception is only 16 so no bonuses (don´t have skill points on it. my mistake, but apparently, I was still able manage it.

Upon further looking at my list, I have forgotten to add +1 spell more to my 1st level spell list. Ideas for choosing spell to compel our adventure: 1)magic weapon or 2)summon monster I.

Of course, I will choose it only if Nightflier give me permission to take missing spell to my list?

Divine magic surrounding Asasha, Galrian steps away and stays alerted. I would suggest that Great Katallin would be going as a first person inside and then followed by Asasha. Kristopher can provide ranged support, while spellcaster are staying behind and use their spells. Diabinthe and Kythvantha can support the sides and run to help if something happens. How does this plan sound to everyone and would you like to apply before further engaging forward throught doors? Otherwise I am supporting the original idea
