It's actually VERY creepy and sinister and scary. Really! But then, I also know folks who think Aliens is better than Alien, and others who think Blair Witch Project is boring, so I guess it takes all kinds.

What is the scientific answer to "If a tree falls in the forest, does it make a noise?"?

Depends if the cat in the box is dead or not.

Have you ever read "The Ring of Winter"? If so, any comments on it?

I have not. I like the cover though because it has a dinosaur.

Liberty's Edge

Klingons, Romulans or Borg?

Liberty's Edge

Male Starbuck or female Starbuck?

Liberty's Edge

Six (Caprica), Eight (Boomer) or Three (D’Anna)?

Or D, all of the above.

Liberty's Edge

Is liking the Abrams Star Trek movie the exception that proves the rule of you not liking reboots?

Liberty's Edge

Do you like Firefly?

Liberty's Edge

You like gladiator movies – did you like Gladiator? What did you think of the accents?

Liberty's Edge

You are making a horror movie set in Nazi Germany, featuring mainly German characters, for a primarily American / English speaking audience. Do you have your actors:
a) Speak German
b) Speak English with German accents
c) Speak English with English accents
d) Speak English with their native accents
e) Speak English with a ‘neutral’ accent
f) Speak Mandarin
g) Other
h) Make a silent film

Liberty's Edge

You are making a Pathfinder movie. What accents do your actors use?

Liberty's Edge

In the Pathfinder movie, what sort of accent will elves have? What accent will dwarves have? Will Galtans speak with cheesy French accents? (hope so)

Liberty's Edge

You are making a Pathfinder movie, have complete creative control and can afford any actors you want (and they will all want to be in the movie because Pathfinder is cool) – which actors do you cast?

Liberty's Edge

You are making a Pathfinder movie and have complete creative control. What areas of the world and what themes would you like to see explored? What monsters / bad guys should be featured?

Dark Archive

Awesome thread. I powered through all 16 pages tonight. I'm going to get less sleep than I'd like.

1. I'm going to be a father in 7 months. What should I name my child?

2. Any thoughts on a Tome of Battle like supplement for Pathfinder? Would ToB be a good template to do psionics with?

3. How did you get your job? What's your education/background?

4. The editing issues with the APG are manifold and documented elsewhere (see among other things my post in Rules about the apparent uselessness of Ghostbane Dirge). Is there/should there be interest at Paizo in having a community editorial process before release? Say a number of people chosen from the community for their apparent grasp of English/rules/just being willing to devote the time?

5. Raspberry wine? Seriously? You and I are going to have to sit down with a nice scotch one day and talk about how to be an alcohol role model.

What genres of video game would you like to see Golarion in?

Have you tried DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online)? If not, did you avoid it because of the oily smell of living constructs? Would that format be good enough for PFRPG?

Dark Archive

Feel free to elaborate further on the top picture.

What were you guys thinking? [in making that group pose] ;p

Do you miss Lardus?

Mr. Athans had a fun blog series by the way.

Does Mothman have too much time on his hands :-) ?

Is Kari Byron the thinking mans ideal woman?

Is Kari Byron firing a mini gun super hot?

Do you like Dr Who?

Yup. Getting to work on The Paizo Perversion.

can we have a lava monster of some sort?

also a half corporeal, half etheral undead?

brain-in-a-jar controlled golem?

shogothrex?

a monster that can turn into a swarm at will?

Scarab Sages

Since some other folks have been asking serious questions....

James, can you give us some spoilers on other authors you guys may be planning to pull into the Pathfinder Tales line? Maybe Paul S. Kemp?

Scarab Sages

And, since I can't be completely serious without injuring myself....

James, when are you Paizo folks coming to Philadelphia to game with me?

Dark Archive

will we see paizonian run PBP games on the forums them as the DM/GM and "normal" posters like us as the gamers?

Gives me something to do while I decide among the following to spend my lazy Sunday afternoon:

1) More World of Warcraft

Which server? I'm on Earthen Ring myself. I wouldn't ask you which character any more than I'd reveal it myself. I'm big on maintaining the MMORG/Real Life firewall. :)
If you were on this person's server and on the opposing faction would you gank them?

I'm on both factions, and it depends on character. Some are Red Equals Dead, and others take a different approach.

It's still secret 'cause it might still come out in 2012 and we're not ready to talk about it.

Damn it you were supposed to fall for that. Ok, not really, but you never know if you don't try.

If something productive was ever said in one of the psionic threads would anyone notice?
There's been PLENTY productive on those threads. I've noticed some of it.

Well then you are braver man then I to continue reading them. What do you think of the idea of psionics working similar to the way they do now except with spell levels instead of PPs, using the same feats and spells that already exist?

How can I get Advanced Readers Copies of all of Paizo's books?
They don't exist, for one. So your first step would be to convince Erik to change that policy.

So you are saying we need to create an advise Erik Mona thread?

I would be happy with PDFs.

Have you ever been to Ohio?

Do you like rollercoasters?

Will Paizo release rules for firearms anytime in the near future?

What is that over there?

5. Is it easier to answer these muliple question posts if the poster numbers them?

How does that make you feel?

You are stranded on a desert island with a full collection of Paizo books with the following people Vin Diesel, Kurt Shilling, Wil Wheaton, Erik Mona, and Monte Cook. Who do you kill and eat while the rest of you play Pathfinder?

Will this thread name change to "Mothman asks, JJ answers?" :P

Can you get the Skynet over there? I knew a lot of folks (in Germany) who got the Skynet sattelite for the English language and American programming.
