My parents are visiting, so my mom's making pot roast for my wife's birthday. We'll be taking her out to the Cheesecake Factory tomorrow.
(Yes...today is my wife's birthday...we found out the bad news about my job on the night before her 40th birthday. She's not happy.)
Well, it was the cheeseburger melt. So it had a cheese sauce. Mmm!
Suck about the timing of the news, that truly sucks. Is Cheesecake Factory any good? Price range?
Cheesecake Factory is awesome! Their cheesecake is totally worth the suffering that comes after. And the rest of the food is good too. :)
But they are a bit on the pricey side.:(
The nearest one to here is quite a bit of a drive so I rarely get to go anymore, but we used to live near one. It's probably better for me that we don't anymore.
Although the cafe at B&N sells slices of Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake for those occasions when I truly am determined to make myself sick.
I have one around the corner.
That said, it loses its mystique when it is so readily available.

My wife and children already worked out the logistics for the move to Atlanta. So, that was nice. Now I just have to see if I actually get a job offer. :)
Cool. I've got to admit that Atlanta didn't impress me that match. But there's a good Irish pub downtown that serves full Irish breakfasts and a good brew pub.

Today is my 12th anniversary!!
Poor Jude has a slight cold. (mostly just a runny nose.) :(
I scored a goal on a breakaway off the face off, with an awesome forehand backhand move. We eneded up tying the games last night 1-1.
We are starting Serpent's Skull finally toady (missed the last 2 weeks with snow and illness), and I made 2 new coastal terrain boards for it.
Now everyone else get posting, so we are on the main page.;)

Congratulations!
Sorry to hear that. Colds aren't fun, especially for very young kids.
Awesome! Congrats on scoring the tying goal.
Have fun with your game. Pics for the terrain boards?

In more good news, I forgot to share that the physician gave me a clean bill of health. All my fears about cholesterol and having to radically change my diet were completely off: all the bad stuff is low in my blood! I do have a Vitamin D deficiency -- easily taken care of.
On the downside, playing The Police in the morning can illicit some extremely grumpy reactions. Who knew?

Happy Anniversary, Justin.
Thanks for the kind words about the job. Unfortunately, I still will not likely be in Seattle for PaizoCon this year. I'll have to see, but the move up there doesn't begin until the 15th of June. There're still a lot of details up in the air. I've never done a homeport shift with any command I've been at, so this will be a new experience for me.
I'm also not sure what will be going on with next year's PaizoCon, either, but it's a strong possibility that I'll still be in the area, then.
As I've said, there definitely are positives associated with this. It's just that the negatives are REALLY big.

On the bright side, however, I purchased a new webcam yesterday, got it set up with Windows Messenger Live, and did a web chat with my brothers, sisters-in-law, niece and nephew last night. They all got to see Charlie by video for the first time. And it was my sister-in-law Jenny's birthday, so kind of an extra present to her.

Woohoo! My favorite DM has tentatively offered to run a Pathfinder campaign!
I finally get to play the half-orc paladin who's been rampaging through my brain since the first time I read the Beta rules!
Oh great. Who's going to clean up this mess?
Have fun in your new game!

I started to make an Eeyore alias, but I figure this one is already in the neighborhood.
