Tease.

It was kinda mushy, but earnest, and I really surprised her with the sentiment.

Well, I guess I know where I'll be Feb 10 2012. Unless the kidlet decides to move on to another obsession before then. Just not sure how I'm gonna survive Jar Jar in 3D :S

Maybe Lucas will give it the Phantom Edit

A much better movie IMHO

I showered today, brushed my hair and teeth...am wearing deoderant! Why the hell do I keep chasing everyone off the thread?

When I first joined these boards, I found I had very much the same effect.

Holy crap, it's been a roller-coaster of a day in my office. Somebody tell me it'll get better, please?

Spoiler:
On the one hand, the people I supervise have stepped up to take on a project I expected to have to lead them through by the noses, so I'm happy about that.

On the other hand, I'm stuck in a position of pushing my boss and my grandboss harder on a couple of issues than I'd really prefer. I'm very tired of being 'that person' who's always asking the hard questions and pinning people down for answers in public meetings. I have visions of asking the wrong question, offending the wrong person, and tanking my career.

I don't know. I'd say don't compromise yourself, and if you see an issue or have a question, raise it. Of course, I'm not exactly at the pinnacle of my career, so I might not know what I'm talking about.

That's something, I suppose.

Unused plot ideas.... poorly scripted encounters....Ideas for templates....

Need to hire a new girl, but the only apps I have are from my youngest girls school/party friends. I don't think I am up for another 20 something. :P

Silver Crusade

So, I've come to realize that I didn't spend enough time thinking about Plan B. I threw everything into grad school applications and fixated upon that for the past year.

Hear I am, with one admission offer from what was more or less a "safety school", and a growing pile of rejections, and I find myself wondering about "what ifs". I'm not thrilled with the location of this school, and I've never been there. I'm visiting next week, but I have to evaluate it honestly, because I could be there for a long time.

And I'm petrified because I never gave a lot of thought to what I might do if not this.

Liberty's Edge

Feels kind of weird welcoming a friend to the Paizo boards in the poodle thread of all places. He's a glutton for punishment. :P

That freaks me right out. You can't always see what's going to happen, and I find myself in the same boat when it comes to the courses I've been taking.

Yeah. I love my job, and there's a lot about the organization that employs me that I find worthwhile, but... wow, we can be a really dysfunctional bunch sometimes, too. I see improvement happening, but it's slow and painful.

And 'grandboss' isn't something I can take credit for. I forgot where I first heard it, but I know I didn't invent it. :) It's very useful shorthand, though.
