Here's BrickLink, a site where you can find used mini-figs no longer in production by Lego too.

The awesome thing about this is that I got back into Legos. And, let me tell you, they've come a LONG way since I was a kid. The Castles/Kingdoms sets have a ton of great stuff for D&D (although dwarves/orcs only appear in Castles, which is on hiatus right now), and the sets are terrific for the games too. The Troll Warship comes with a dragon and most of the weapons & such work just like they should.

And, the best part for Gamers w/ Kids is that you can claim you're buying them for the kids!! :P

I was a Lego fanatic when I was a kid. The medieval setting was my favorite, but I did mixes and mash-ups between a bunch of them to create my own personal landscape sprawled downstairs in the basement.

As a nostalgia moment, my father got me a Star Wars Lego box set that was an exclusive with Admiral Ackbar (!) and he even hooked me up with their VIP membership. Not really going to make much use out of it, but it was the thought that counts.

Anyone who has children should definitely get them into the creativity that is Lego. Other than losing or accidentally swallowing pieces, one can never go wrong with Legos.

Nothing much. I will be mailing out Dragon Mountain on Monday or Tuesday, TAD. It is right beside my desk. ~grins~ I just wanted to let you know that I had not forgotten about you.

You want to get me an updated list of items you're looking for? I swore I saw a used copy of Cry Havoc the other day.... (?) I'm going to presume that if they're at least half off the cover price, I shouldn't question picking it up?

P.S. Borders have a 50% off of all Star Wars related stuff ('cept Legos - bastards!). I did pick up three SAGA books yesterday and I weeped with joy how affordable they were in their shiny new state.

Now if I could find KOTOR this way, the circle will eventually be complete.

Sale lasts until end of Monday the 26th. Need to be a member (costs nothing to join) and have the super-duper special coupon - which I posted on my wall and/or can re-send to anyone interested.

Actually, not at all! My partying was back on Tuesday. =) Would you believe that I decided to give the Internet a break from me yesterday, watched some tee-vee with the missus and went to bed ... before midnight?

Unbelievable, I know!

As a footnote, after my second visit with the NBS (neurological behavioral systems) clinic, I need to begin following some sort of sleep ritual that will have to involve fixing my sleeping hours if I want what they're trying to 'teach' me to have some success.

Although, I did say at the end of yesterday's two hour session: "you pull out an e-meter and I will walk the f*&k out of here." Needless to say, the guy got the joke and laughed. XD

The doors held in place by a deadbolt right now. Frankly if I had to guess it was supposed to be a smash and grab, and well it didn't work out so well. I'm still staying here because my family is too far away. I'll be working for the next few days I should be too busy to worry hopefully.

I have no interest whatsoever in 3-D. Maybe it has something to do with my first experience with 3-D. It was a reshowing of House of Wax (1953). The only thing I can remember was the paddle ball man with the ball bouncing out of the screen.

3-D does not seem to enhance the story. It always seems to be an effect just to show off. Watching recent previews at the theater is disturbing however, because it seems I may be forced to watch and pay extra for 3-d since there will be no alternative.
