Ok. It is yours Heathy.

Hey Heathy! (((HUGS))) How have you been?

Feeling a bit cranky....

economic lack thereof troubles, weathering fine.
it's a cool balmy day, and so there's no threat of 21 more days of 100 degree weather to threaten the doom of me air conditioning unit, and me electricity bill wasn't quite the $500 I thought it might be,
so it's getting better.

And me Gators have a new True Freshman that's a friggin monster; he got 6 touchdowns yesterday against Kentucky, which broke Tebow's record, so it could be much worse.

I think it's official the dingo ate some hallucinogens he thought was a baby. He's gone off the deep end.

String theory invalidates hallucinogens.

Speaking of Cleveland Brown, there's a new Cleveland show and Family Guy, and Simpsons on tonight.

You know, this product placement is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. A bad taste that can only be removed by Colgate Plus. Nine out of ten dentists agree, Colgate Plus is better at removing plaque build-up than the competition.

Hi, All! What's shakin' tonight?

I'm in the process of building a PFRPG scenario for my daughters. I've gone through all my D&D minis and am building a 4-encounter scenario to use with the Darklands and Dragon's Lair flip-mats.

I started out just picking out all the female characters for them to choose their PCs from. As I went along, though, the idea for the scenario started to build.

In case you're interested, ** spoiler omitted **

I'm still working out the numbers and class levels for the bad guys. Trying to keep everything at about 10th level.

It feels so good to be doing something creative, again.

That sounds excellent. I hope everyone has a great time.

A troll somewhere else claimed he could "...submit online content from small forum communities into psychological and social studies for cash, if its relevant to the specific study..."

Probably BS but...

HA! That's funny.

Kinda like how my wife's friend, a dyed in the wool black supramecist, ended up married to a white man that she fell head over heels in love with. Classic.

I don't think that repeatedly getting nakkid Heathansson (or Tordek or badgeh or Woodraven) top of the page is something being done for my enjoyment. ;)

Speaking of Hero Lab. I think I'm finally making the switch from PCGen. Wolfthulhu has been a long time advocate of it in my Runelords game and now almost my entire group has made the switch.

Mwahahaha, I should get a commission. :D

I was talking about PcGen vs HeroLab on my FB wall and right now it's hard to resist checking out something that's free. Why do you advocate one over the other?

OMG. Things like that should be illegal.

Hate to disagree, but no. It should not. This is still a country where our individual freedoms mean something. It's sad that there are still people out there who teach this kind of sick thought to young folks, but they have that right. You can't police thought patterns, you can only attempt to teach wiser thought. That's the problem I have with so called 'hate crime' laws.

Not yet - still trying to catch up my Runelord adventure log. I'll be traveling next weekend so I think I'll have some time then. I want to weave it into my runelord game as I have a certain PC partial to taking goblin ears.

Well, teeth mainly. But yes, ears of the more powerful foes.

There may even be a shrunken head in the future. ;-)

YOu should watch The Believer. Great and terrible film about a young Jewish boy who hides his heritage and joins a neo-nazi group. Painful to watch, but worth it.

That is about as old school as you can get in the NFL. Yes I am a Pack fan. Living in Iowa I got my pick of 5 teams in surrounding states. I used to be a blasphemer and also follow the bears but since they traded Kyle Orton to Denver I now follow the path of the rivalry.

I second this. I own the film.

I don't have enough experience with PCgen to have a real opinion on it. I only know that it's free and lots of people like it. (I tried it out for 3.5 years ago, and for whatever reason preferred Heroforge over it.)

So, if you want free, there seems to be lots of reason to go with PCgen. However, if you're ok with paying for a well done and very functional program, I highly recommend Hero Lab.

Perhaps Tordek could give us a good comparison?

Let's try something here. Just got invited to play in a campaign as of this Tuesday (Yay!). What they have thus far is a Duskblade/Wizard, a Psion, a Cleric, and a Rogue. I'm trying to fill in the holes of what's needed. It has to be fourth level. It's v3.5 rules. It's all wide open as to the options within D&D from WotC. I hear it's a deadly game.

Thoughts? I need inspiration! =)

Took the kids to the park, got rained out. Now making pizzas for dinner. Mine has white sauce. <.<

Nope. It's a lesser evil you can tolerate much easier than others lurking around the corner in OTD. ;-)

Other than recognizing the asian flair, I'm not familiar with yojimbo other than the Kurosawa film.
