Spanish Mackerel?
Well, I finally broke down and cleaned my palette. I'm a cheapskate when it comes to paint on account of it being so expensive, and try to use every last little flake. But even I had to give up this time. Every available surface had been used for mixing colors and it was a mess. Not to mention that I had black in the yellows, flecks of green in the alizarin crimson, and the indigo and pthalo blue had sort of melded into one color. So now it's all nice and neat and I can paint. Yay. :)

Last night (after a little arm-twisting) we went to see Bare Naked Ladies at Red Rocks. It was fun -- but there weren't any bare naked ladies there.
This morning -- I'm tired.
Nice! I saw them on (what some would say) was the last night of the millenium, Dec 31st 2000. Was a real sweet concert, with Guster as their opener. I think maroon was the CD they were pimping at that time, and that was about the highwater of my interest in them (after Stunt and Maroon I wasn't as impressed with their music)

New character portrait for my favorite character. She's slowly transforming from human to fey as the campaign progresses, so I do a new picture every few levels. Elijah Grace is fun to draw. Plus you can really see the progression in the drawing style as I learn new stuff in between each portrait.

He's terrified of the dark and had to be reminded that as much as the light might be dim because of the storm, it is after all the middle of the afternoon and not actually dark. :)
