HP: 49/60 AC: 22, T:13, FF:21, CMD:16. Fort:+5, Ref:+5, Will:+8(+7). Per:+14, Init:+0, AoO:+8

Fenna too takes some of the radishes for Svetlana, and eats a few with her meal.

The radishes taste nice, with an almost smokey aftertaste, but mostly they just taste like... radishes. If there's a significant difference between these and normal radishes, you can't taste it.

On another note, if Syn doesn't post soon, I'm going to assume she slept through her watch...

Human Druid1 | Init +3| Hits 11/11 | AC 18/20, tch 14, fft 14/16 | F +3, R +3, W +4 | Perception +6

Den takes care to pack up a parcel of the radishes for Svetlana, including the roots and some of the earth. Hopefully the woman can grow some herself if the plant takes hold at Oleg's.

Fenna stirs in her sleep, letting out a small, squeak-like grunt.

I think Flash (Syndessa) will be without internet until Sunday. I'm not 100% sure though.

Shall I move ahead, then, or wait for Sunday? I'm not sure how hard to push a PbP. What counts as "delay of game"?

I don't mind either way, usually a week is considered a pretty long absence, and generally characters would be NPCed by the GM, but this isn't really somewhere that Syndessa's actions would be obvious. I'm happy with a slower paced game if you want to wait.

I'm pretty sure this counts as a delay.

;)

Yeah, it does. *Sigh*.

Okay, restarting the encounter this afternoon.

Sorry Uriel, I am Back...

Fenna was right, I was without Internet (well I had abysmally crappy Dial-up, but when it was taking 5 minutes+ to load a damn page it wasn't worth my sanity, sorry).

The Exchange

....and like after prunes, I have been waiting for movement.

Muk's watch goes by without incident, and you turn-over to Syndessa around midnight.

Syndessa:
You have been passing the time on guard duty for about a hour when a rustling and soft barking from the other side of the field catches your attention. Looking over, you spot five small humanoids digging in the radish patch. By their silhouettes, they stand about Muk's height and seem reptilian. They are "talking" to each other and are intent on digging for radishes, and don't seem to have noticed you or the party.

Stealth Check: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17

Syndessa silently draws her blade and slips back to the others, quietly attempting to wake Den. After his display of magic back at the Trading Post, she is certain that his Druidic Magic would be the best solution for this problem.

Human Druid1 | Init +3| Hits 11/11 | AC 18/20, tch 14, fft 14/16 | F +3, R +3, W +4 | Perception +6

Den wakes up slowly with sleep in his eyes and starts to wipe his face when he is woken.

"What?" he mumbles as if he is at home in bed and not in the wilderness.

Den, make Stealth and Perception checks.

Syndessa:
The figures haven't noticed you, yet. Their yipping barks are getting louder, however. They seem to be having an argument.

Human Druid1 | Init +3| Hits 11/11 | AC 18/20, tch 14, fft 14/16 | F +3, R +3, W +4 | Perception +6

Perception check 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19, Stealth check 1d20 ⇒ 12

Looking up and focussing on his surroundings, Den stares at Syndessa. "What's happening?"

Female Half-Elf Inquisitor of Calistria 1

Putting her hand over Den's mouth for a second, she hisses a short shhh, and removes her hand. She turns his head in the direction of the creatures and motions towards them. "Cast your magic to entrap them as you did the Bandits," she whispers to the Druid.

Human Druid1 | Init +3| Hits 11/11 | AC 18/20, tch 14, fft 14/16 | F +3, R +3, W +4 | Perception +6

Den shakes his head at Syndessa. "No."

DM what does he see? More bandits?

Den:
Not bandits. The silhouettes are far too small for that. Oddly shaped, barking children, perhaps? It's too dark to see more than that without getting closer.

Female Half-Elf Inquisitor of Calistria 1

Syndessa c o c k s her head to the side and raises an eyebrow that Den probably can't see in the dark. "Why? she whispers back. "They are some kind of creature. We need not kill them if we don't have to, but we should restrain them for the moment until we can figure out what they are doing here."

Sovereign Court

Flash:
Are you still interested in the introduction PbP?
This is the thread that your group is in, they haven't reached Ustalav yet, so you can still jump back in.

Human Druid1 | Init +3| Hits 11/11 | AC 18/20, tch 14, fft 14/16 | F +3, R +3, W +4 | Perception +6

"Have they attacked us? No?"

Den slowly gets up and keeps his hands away from weapons. He spares a glance for his horse and then takes a little more time to see whatever it is that Syndessa cannot describe.

Also Den mentally prepares a light spell.

"Syndessa, perhaps you can calmly wake the others. If these creatures haven't attacked us yet then perhaps it will be safe to talk with them. Maybe they can help us find the bandits?"

Female Half-Elf Inquisitor of Calistria 1

Calix:
Yes I am, sorry. Yours is one of 3 PbPs I have yet to fully catch up with because they have a higher Post rate than the others. Yours is next on the list, so I should be caught up by the end of the weekend. Sorry. :)
Seems I'm forever trying to catch up to that PbP for one reason or another... Yikes!

Silver Crusade

I'm calling this one. Time of death: now.

Sorry guys. It was a noble experiment, but I guess I just don't have the feel for PbP. Too fast, everyone complained. Wait for people, wait forever.

At least we didn't get so far into the game that there were any spoilers, really.

Thanks to all who participated, and better luck next time!
