Is this a trap?

Nope. But it could be a black hole...

Mairkurion and taig went to a Backstreet Boys concert together but got into an argument over who was the best singer. Mairkurion left taig at the concert and drove off in his AMC Gremlin. Taig was forced to bum a ride off of Sebastian (who works as a roadie) and had to listen to him talk about himself the whole way home. Later they all had a beer and made fun of Aberzombie behind his back.

What other topic would be worth discussing on a long car ride?

Geneviève Bujold sure was a pretty girl.

Duh. It's facebook. I'm theoretically on now, looking at the Scooby-esque device you seem to have installed...

How frustrating. I got a voicemail from the people putting on the Donizetti opera saying they would love to have me on board. I had assumed, since I didn't hear from them for like two weeks, that I wasn't going to be participating, and gave a positive RSVP for my partner's cousin's wedding that weekend. How insanely frustrating... Why did they wait so long to call me? Meh. I really want to do it, but changing a wedding RSVP rubs me the wrong way.
UGH!!!!!!!!!! That almost happened to me at work once..I've never been so happy to have a shift-partner call in sick in my entire life!!!! I'd say check and find out why they took so long to call you- if someone fought for you to be in it, go for it, if someone dropped out and you were a second or third choice or something, go with the wedding.
I don't think it's the latter, because they also said in the message that they still need another tenor. If, even with me in the production, they are one tenor short, I doubt I was on the chopping block at any point.
Danged artists with their chaotic tendencies. Why didn't they tell you? Any way at all you could do both?

No, the concert is at something like 8 oclock and the wedding reception is at dinner time and about 45 minutes drive away.

Jeez, ghosting is really bad today.

Meh.

I'm off to lunch.

Did you decide what to have for lunch?

Heh. I was referring to the decision about the concert. Chinese food for lunch was already decided.

Did someone mention ghosting?

I'm often surrounded by ghastly things of white color that do unspeakable things!

I know freaky s#*% right? Also I haven't slept in 2 days so I'm kinda spacey but yeah scary scary crap.
Ahh sleep .... Much needed!!!!!!!!!!!
I get insomniac over the summer, my husband is away for 3 months, so during that time my sleep goes right out the window. It's not that I'm afraid to be in the house alone or anything it's just really hard to sleep in these different conditions.

I understand how you feel, although not for as long as you have to go solo. Every time Solnes leaves town I get no sleep, never even go back to the bedroom, and I usually shave my head. :/

Time to force the kids to clean their rooms, you guys take care. And Taig, we'll see you tomorrow. :D

Ha! The department administrator (read: secretary) was just at my desk with a question, and I happened to make an off-hand comment that my mouse has been getting stuck, and she came back with a new one.

See, I'm opposite. When my wife goes out of town, or I do, I never have problems sleeping - even without booze. In fact, she's been gone since Sunday, and it's been pretty peaceful.

Hooray for air conditioning! They finally took off the covers and now I can at last close the gorram windows. Happy, happy. :D

+1. I sleep like a log without her and the place is clean as a whistle within 48 hours. But there's noone to talk to.

Working and you?

Just chilling on a Thursday evening.

I asked for a day off, hoping to get off today or tomorrow. However, my boss told me someone else had asked off for today, and someone else for tomorrow, and someone else asked off for Monday. :( Then my boss said, "But, hey, everyone else is asking for days off, do you want off next Friday to make it a 4 day weekend?" Since she twisted my arm, I agreed. :)

Awright folks, I'm off for now. Despite a near-miss with the boss almost catching me in normal people clothes(I believe I ran back to my office faster than ever and changed in record time), the greatest week evar keeps rolling on! My boss won't be in tomorrow and even if he is I'm taking people to a local park for a picnic and to shoot some hoops, so humbug on that. I'm going into my favorite part of manhattan for the second job on Friday and Saturday, and did I forget to mention that Saturday is my Ptolus-game day? Moreover, I discovered(or perhaps I should say re-discovered) that Ptolus luminary alleynbard is a cartographer- maybe we can work together to map out the land of Wune(for Freehold Campaign Setting)! Set gave me thumbs up to use his ideas for undead for this very same setting. I had an awesome lunch, I'm looking forward to a relaxing walk home(the game was canceled, which sucks, but I have writing to catch up on anyway) on a beautiful spring day.

Greatest Week Evar! It's not over yet!!! What new adventures await FreeholdDM?! Find out- TOMORROW!

Scarab Sages

Gotta go to a town watch meeting in a bit. And later on tonight it's part 2 of the Fringe season finale! Huzzah!!!
