Oh yeah for 1 whole night... :/
I got up there (a day late admittedly, so that is my fault) to find that they were all sick of camping in the rain for the last week and that they had decided that they were packingup and going home the next day. So I got to spend 1 afternoon and 1 night, then help pack up and go home...
Of course the day after we got back the sun came out. :/

Work needs to stop kicking me in the butt.
I'm also angry about losing 15 minutes of vacation time. I know it's inconsequential, but it burns because it's the result of my supervisor telling me she thinks I was lying on my timesheet.
Honestly, that is something you should NEVER accept.
You have a contract (written or otherwise) to work for them and they have obligations to you they need to meet. Getting paid for work performed is the most basic aspect of that contract. If they are using your vacation time to cover part of a shift that you worked then they are not meeting their end of the bargain after you have met yours. They are doing it deliberately.
I suppose we will differ on this, but to me, that is worth busting someone's head and going to jail over. Note that I am not suggesting you do this but merely explaiing that is how far I would take it.

I am going to respond by taking anal notes about my start and end times every day. I bet I'll wind up with overtime pay out of this deal. I'll also be sure to include the time spent keeping track of this information in my stats :)

Well Alabama is up 7-6. That makes me happy, for the moment.
one thing I never understood, and I know it it just me, watching sports on TV. I can get into it I guess if others are with me. But just watching any sport when it is not live, I fall asleep.
Although racing I can understand watching on TV. The heat, the flung mud and dirt and whatever when they do pass you. Oh and not seeing anything for several minutes to see something for a few seconds.

My only consolation is that my queue is already so long that I'll probably never notice as the chance of my ever catching up to the ridiculously long list created by my eclectic tastes in movies and shows is pretty much zero. Still, it's irritating having to wait longer for something you've already been waiting for because it was too expensive to go see it at the theater. :/
