Well, well, well. I am digging this as a Giff subsitute. I'm trying to picture your anthropomorphic build like an ogre with the head of an elephant, to a degree. I'd love to see someone expand on this with a bit of artwork to better visualize it.

and yes a giff substitute. much weaker and well really based on the Giff. With a couple of small changes thrown in by me.

EDIT: I would have gone Rhino but well the Doctor already had those sewn up.
