Speaking of EVIL, have you been following the OGL drama?

The result, the de facto surrender of WotC, is even more interesting.

I dont get why anybody is surprised...

Hasbro doesn't understand the OGL...what they see is people making huge profits off of their IP.

Instead of just dumping the OGL...they tried this trick

I am still surprised that WotC folded so quickly.

Plausible.

But, what is the cause?

In other news, my wife is accusing me of feminism. IMHO, she should know better.

I recently passed on a game product that should interest me based on its reviews. (Yes, I am commentator "OFlaithbheartach" on the image.)

How do you see it?

Humans need to evolve to more long time thinking.

I'd settle for people being willing to "try to look at other people points of view."

Have you tried Mutants and Masterminds? I was a bit dubious of their using status effects or whatever instead of hit points but after trying it out I kind of like it. Obviously wouldn't work for something like Pathfinder and probably not for something really dark or gritty. But for good ol' super heroes fighting it out in the streets it works perfectly.

Probably.

Also now that I have money to spend I may take second look into PF 2nd ed...I heard they are coming with interesting books.

The Illusion of Choice is still a problem. Beyond the first few levels, the difference between a proficient and non-proficient action becomes painful.

That, and I really don't like how they broke up summoning (but that's just me).

Does your schedule allow you to game?

It's sad that we live on opposite sides of the country. :(

What PF 2E materials do you currently own?
