You guys are locationist! Moving to Seattle to take a full time position is one thing, but now you're going and tempting the unemployed among us to move there for contract work!? *sigh*
Yup! And this is all I wanta hear out of ya'll who haven't joined we chosen ones over here in Seatown. Applications with text that even smells like "I don't live anywhere near Seattle, buuuuuuut" are going to get out and out ignored. This is a temporary position and we're not going to drag someone across the world just to strand them on our doorstep a few months later. Harsh, perhaps, but fair.

Could I live in a cardboard box in the back of the warehouse? Unemployment down here sucks, so I'm only half-joking.

I am an editor and professional copywriter but live in PA. What about remote editing? ;-)

That's the weight of a raw copy of the PFRPG rules. They are packed raw and then cure during the shipping process to arrive in the lean and ready-to-eat format we see.

I've already put my house on the market and quit my job so I can be available for this one.

Does changing my CV to remove references to astrophysics and software engineering make me an 'editor'? Hmm...

No! Embrace the physicist with in! I myself am studying to provide Paizo with solutions to complex quantum mechanical and pure mathematical editing questions.
I'm sure they arise all the time, what with the various 'cores' and 'polarity reversers' paizo has attached to its side.
Paizo is a rocket ship right?

The kind that sometimes is asked to help move boxes of books or similar things; once upon a time when we had big shipments, the entire company pitched in to get things moved into or out of the warehouse, for example. We've grown a lot since then and haven't had to do something like that again for a while... but never say never!

Funny - that's my middle name - "Fast-and-Fluid". Plus I'm creative, versatile and diligent. On top of that, I can write cool campaigns like the one home game I ran where demon blood was being packaged and distributed as wine across the country...won't that get me an interview? ;-)
