I was only able to raise the money and get my order in a week and a half ago... WHEW! YES! It will be mine!!
This was quite some news to get in my inbox!
From the bottom of my heart, good paizonions, CONGRATULATIONS!!
I hope this serves as a testament to how much 3.5 fans love what you have done. It couldn't have been an easy decision, at first, to keep making 3.5 products in the face of the then upcoming 4th edition. I'm so glad your leap of faith has been so wonderfully rewarded!
There is a literal tear in my eye when I think of how you all must have felt when the sales reached sell out numbers. I hope the joy you must be experiancing lasts long!
Your unprecedented involvement of your fans in the creation process is for sure one of the reasons that you have reached such heights of success. I, for one, look foward to the future projects of Paizo!!
I raise my glass in the air to Paizo!
Again, Fantastic! Wonderful! Congratulations!!!

Whoa. 3e is going nowhere it seems. Nowhere but UP! 3eP - the P stands for Phoenix!
Has the shipping of preorders/subscription copies started already? When do you think will you be done with everything? With just the international stuff.
Not that I'm sitting here wearing out my refresh button in alarming speed or anything... <_<

Hell yeah, I reckon there are a few of us. 4E is a really good system but it is too balanced and too reasoned, just lacks the depth, quirks and (therefore) personality of earlier editions. Still we will probably alternate editions for our campaigns, with a little chtulu thrown in! Variety is the spice of life.
A real pity that 4E is so 'shallow' (and I don't say that in a negative way, I think you can be deep and complex or more shallow and balanced) cos it s so easy to DM, I mean 20% of the effort of 3E.

Congratulations!
It is indeed no small achievement to have a book sold out on preorders even before the street date, especially as this is the biggest paizo print run ever. Wow!
(Not that this would put a tiny little bit of pressure on the author and the publisher - how will it be recieved by the audience? This will probably quite decisive for paizo.

(If we did divvy 'em up per day, it probably wouldn't be in even quarters—we'd likely reserve more for Friday and Saturday.)
As someone who would be coming on Friday, and playing PFS on generics, I would very much appriciate some reasonable chance I can pick up a book.
That said, any chance you can tell us how many books were in the first print run?

The high quality of the beta and the fact it was/is a free download certainly has made an inpact on this. I know my friends and I were looking for something that retained that D&D feel and when we found Beta we were thrilled. We may not love every change or every rule but we love the spirit of what Pathfinder is.
I am pleased this has turned a great idea into a profitable one as well. Best to all of you who put in the time and effort to make such a loved game come alive for so many.

Just wanted to add my kudos to the ever growing list. I think above all, besides the excellent mechanics, besides the awesome stories, besides the fantastic art of Pathfinder it has always been your involvement with the fan base that has driven the success of Paizo. I am constantly amazed by the level of customer service, involvement and love of the hobby you all bring to the table. Add that to your savvy marketing skills (free Beta: Can you say genius?) and this salesman is duly humbled by your awesomeness.
My hearty congratulations on your well-earned success, and thank you personally for revitalizing my interest in RPGs at a time when I felt like I was about to abandon the hobby all together.

I am also worried about Amazon. At the time of 4e's release, I pre-ordered the 4e core books but they were unable to sell them to me due to the first print run being sold out. Of course this ended up working for me because I got to read them first from a friend and had time to cancel the order :)
However I do not wish for such a thing to happen this time! Does the Paizo staff have any soothing words to calm my nerves right now ? Is there any possibility that Amazon won't have the product ?

Yeah, what he said. Great job, Paizo!

Wasn't the whole point of Pathfinder RPG to have a game system *in stores*, available for sale?
I think this is terrible news, invalidating the whole concept...
... *giggle*
This is incredibly awesome - one of my best birthday presents (yesterday). Love you all!
Goes to spread the news.
Mine too. My birthday in this Saturday.

Congratulations! And before I got the chance to preorder mine, too .... stupid non-paying lower-echelon Post Office job ....
That's really great news -- it looks like Pathfinder's going to be as big a success as 4th edition -- if not bigger! :) Keep up the charge to victory, ladies and gentlemen!!!! :))))

That is awesome news.
I can only hope my FLGS got the order in properly and in time. I love them dearly (and wanted to make sure Pathfinder RPG was getting delivered to them--I saw them click that "restock" button to a positive number which made me very happy) but they occasionally can screw up special orders. *sigh* Waiting is HARD.

Congrats, I am glad you guys are getting more buisiness then you expected, that is always good. Hopefully sales remain high so that you guys can support the system for years to come. I think it bodes well for people who like the 3.5 system and want to continue using it. Obviously we are not alone if we sold out the first printing 2 weeks before release.
I am eagerly awaiting the release. Make sure you beef up your servers so they dont crash when the PDF is up for download :P.

It started out as the staffs love for the game. Then through a lot of hard work, effort, and late ...late nights it ballooned into a blowout success!
Sit back stretch out and relax or party till you pass out on your keyboards, whatever is your celebratory preference.
A well deserved CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

I'm so glad to hear this news! I'm also glad I got my interested friends to pre-order! :D And got my own subscription on on time!!!
Congratulations, guys! Celebrate and enjoy your success! I hope everything continues to be so successful for you - I like to see businesses succeed through good service and an excellent product. :)

Like I have said elsewhere, but I will also say it here to make it easier for Paizo to track, congratulations!
I for one am betting you guys did a print run of 25,000+, especially the "+" part. Conservatively would have been a print run of 15,000, and I doubt you were conservative!
Now lets hope it keeps on selling like that!

Wow, congratulations Paizo! I was hoping to pick it up from a local Borders store, but considering the ones in Louisville, KY, are pitifully stocked when it comes to RPG material, I doubt I'd be able to get it from them for months to come. So here's to hoping the order I just placed was within the 24-hour window Mr. Mona mentioned!
