I saw that ages ago... I was wondering how long it would take either of you two to exploit that loophole... ;)

Does anyone else here hope that the new Doctor Who Roleplaying Game is actually any good?

No sleep, no food...not healthy!
How are you today, did you get my lil email from this afternoon?
I did. Thanks! I just got online, but I'll be getting back offline so I can eat dinner.
Sleeping on the couch actually might help my back. The couple of nights I did it recently, my back felt OK. I'm gonna try a new pillow tonight and see if we can avoid getting a mattress until my wife gets her paycheck.
Taig, also try getting a rolled up towl and putting it under your lower back. The lumbar area. I have found that the pressure from bad posture can affect my neck too. (Yes, I see a chiropractor, when I have the money to spare.)

Where did Taig go?
Had to take care of the dog. Not Old Yeller style, not yet at least. She's gotten into the habit of finding a section of the fence and barking at...nothing...on the other side of the fence.
Lynora, I'm OK. I was just expressing my frustration at the phantom of the posts.

Okay. Glad that's all it was. I thought that was maybe it, but wanted to be sure.

I'll give your and Solnes' suggestions a try.
I was quite surprised to find out the chiropractor was covered by insurance.

Ok, so the girl wanted a song (the death star song), then she wanted water, then she wanted to potty, and then she wanted a story, and finally she wanted to go to Wal-mart.... thats when I figured I had indulged her enough.
lol. That's great. :)
It's so cute when they try and pull a fast one on their parents. :)

Yeah it would be even cuter if she didn't succeed so often. :/

When my son was 18 months old, he must have caught on that we would go to the doctor when he had an ear ache. He tugged on his ear and cried a little, and he had a slight fever. So we got in the car to for the urgent care clinic, and, when we strapped him into his car seat, he started smiling and giggling.
Thank goodness that was the height of his deviousness. :)

Oh well, too tired to keep this up.... gonna doze for a bit.
Ya'll have fun, Solnes I'll see you when you get home baby. Flash Have a good day, Taig Good luck at the chiropractor tomorrow, and last but not least Lynora.... see you tomorrow for our play date. ;)
Good night. I'm gonna get some stuff done before I go to bed. I've got to get up at 6 tomorrow, and I'm starting the new job, so I want to be somewhat coherent.

So, day 3...
After our delicious complimentary breakfast, we went to see some of the more rural sights to be seen. I wanted to see some covered bridges. Conveniently, there is a website listing the locations of covered bridges in Vermont, and I noticed that there was a concentration of them in a village called Northfield, less than an hour from Burlington, near Montpelier. Let me tell you, covered bridges are cool. Much picture-taking ensued.
On our way there, we had noticed that Montpelier is a very cute town. It was smaller than I imagined it would be, being the state capitol and all. So after the bridge excursion, we went back to Montpelier and had a look around. Honestly, it might have been the highlight of the trip. Lots of little cafes, bookshops, gift shops, and such, on a little main street area, with bridges everywhere across some streams and rivers. I was glad we decided to go there.
It was a short drive from there to the Ben & Jerry's factory. I saw the flavor graveyard, very cool. But the place was mobbed. The earliest we could have gotten a tour ticket was over an hour later, and the line for the scoop shop was obscene. It seems like everyone had descended upon the place. We couldn't be bothered. I felt a little odd about turning away because of the lines, but then I considered it this way... A lot of people have a list of places they want to see before they die. If the Ben & Jerry's factory is on that list, you need to reevaluate your priorities.
So we went back to the hotel and bought a pint of the stuff :)
We did a little more sightseeing, before we had dinner at a little European-themed bistro in Burlington. We decided we would treat ourselves to a really nice dinner. Inspired by the film Julie & Julia, I had boeuf bourguignon with a glass of merlot. It was absolutely one of the most incredible meals I have ever eaten.
And that's about all I have to report for today.
