As long as that One is Me, you're probably right. Someone has to guide the amoebas....

Let's here it for Bill Clinton. Talk about improving international relations.

Here is my arbitrary one liner.

(as was pointed out above, in Canada prostitution is legal - as long as you communicate the transaction via telepathy or astrological card reading and consummate the transaction in an alternate dimension).

All because they didn't implement my Big Law Number One.

My Big Law Number One: Whoever proposes a stupid law that makes no sense is publicly flogged. Everyone who passes such a law is publicly flogged to death.

The downside is it makes the whole life style easier and potentially increases the number of people that choose to become prostitutes.

Why is that a downside? Healthy competition vitalises every industry or business. I'm all for monogamy if that's your thing, and polygamy if everyone involved is okay with it. But I'm against monopoly.

I can see the ads: "11pm to midnight is HAPPY HOUR! HAPPY ENDING HOUR THAT IS!"

Gods no! I hate 10 post boards oh gods I hate them.

It devolves into a game about who can do the last post and make the final insult.

If you want something like that, don't be a frikking cheapskate and use ebay!

It doesn't leave me alone! That's how nice it is. I don't like being alone.

I wonder if we have annoyed IssacX enough yet. He has only posted twice and and neither of the threads were 551 pages long. I wonder why he is whining about it?

You need more moderators and Cut the number of pages down to 10 per thread, then start new thread plz! Most of the comments are 1 liners and the threads go all over the place I know these forums are young and under funded but 551 pages on one topic is insanity!

Issac

All kidding aside, most of us here on the Paizo forums view this more as a family then as a message board. We are all friends here and we love to get together, chat, bounce ideas off of each other, and blow off steam. We want to know what is going on in each others lives, not just talk about games. We even run games on these forums so we can game with our friends. The fact that threads run so long is not due to the fact that these boards are young and underfunded, they have to do with the fact that we are a big, mostly happy family here. That being said, outside of the PBP threads, the 551 page threads are rare. This is the longest continual running thread I know and it is only 91 pages. It was also intended to be a stream of conciousness, pop in and out with one liners and jokes thread. I say, if people can still come up with original things to talk about after 500 plus pages of 50 posts each, why limit them?

I think the OP set the challenge at "551 pages" of "insanity!". This is pitiful. I'm leaving.

See, that's part of the problem. Too many people don't appreciate the time and effort it takes to get a thread to some insane page count. Just look at the "Three Word game" - over 7000 posts, but that took us over 4 years.

That's dedication!

We need at least 28,000 posts to cross the threshold of insanity. We can do it if we try.

Well the Jack cult is almost 4600 posts in less than a year. I bet we can reach 7000 before September if we try.

Hopefully the weirdness in my alter-ego's life has subsided for a bit, and I can get back on my mission of making sure Hungry Jack only uses cheese with Jack in the name in his recipes...

Let's smurf this smurf!

Draconians are known for ther perseverence, longevity, and patience. We'll get the 28.000 eventually, with my divine assistance.

I can tell you that if we actually do get 1000 posts by the end of the month, everyone involved will get a free PFRPG PDF!

This is worth coming back through the Veil for!

Sovereign Court

We cannot have a max post length, because we couldn't look at older posts then!

Liberty's Edge

Launch every Zig for Great Justice!

Posting here is one of my superpowers.

Thinking hard about this didn't help, so I wrote here physically.

We could do this a lot longer if we had a psi interface. A psinterface, so to speak.

Scarab Sages

I can haz pagecount?

Scarab Sages

Let it burrrrrrrrrrrrrrn.

Why am I even here?

Anyway... BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRN!

I support this message boards because it supports long, convoluted posts and gnomes!

Why not? But now I'm all alone, far away from home. Any gentleman here wants to escort me home? I shall be grateful. Oh so very grateful!

Let me get this straight: We're doing this out of spite, yes? I'm still hazy on that.

Sure, sounds like fun.

I could breed a special marilith with twice as many arms as usual, and twice as many fingers on each arm, and hereditary typrewriting knowledge!

You're all crazy.

And what does that make me?

Pretty Voices singing a chorus just for me, but writing it down for the deaf music lovers.

Beethoven would approve of this.

And so would I.

Ladies, who wants me to listen to you discussing your favourite way of spamming? I can be a good listener.

The best way to keep things manageable, the best way is to quote the parts of the conversation you are referring to. If you think something else could make a good spin-off topic, create a spin-off thread.

But splitting threads arbitrarily is contrary to how the humanoid mind works.

We shall participate in this endeavour. We still do not understand why we don't just meld all our mindmatter, form a collective, and instantly exchange all information we want to share.

Insanity, you say?

Upping the post count, you say?

I'm not sure about any of this, but I'll see what I can do.

So...as long as resistance is futile, let's talk about what life is like as part of the collective. I seem to recall that your type includes certain very hot borg-women. Is that an outlier, or is your whole shop full of them? Because if it is, I can get comfortable with this whole assimilation thing...

Well....Some are like this, and some are like this. You're going to have to take your chances.

What sorta chances are we talking about here? 50/50? 20/80? I'd probably be in if they were somewhere in the 35/65 range...

To paraphrase another robot:

Sir, the possibility of successfully finding a hot borg is approximately 3,720 to 1.
