Good luck! I'll try not to mention any food in the thread.

Are you on a "name" diet or something you planned out yourself?

Here's some good news. Kellen's old school, the good one where I want him...says that he can stay there on an abbr. Day from 8-12 as long as he can behave. They also have started the process for an IEP and stuff like that, which is good since his other school basically said no, which is illegal BTW. So I can breathe again, and things look up. In fact, the boy had a wonderful day with all good behavior and work done! ;)

Not really, just eating a lil better, not snacking as much or eating as much or so late in the night. As well as excersising...not sure how that is spelled. I want to lose about 20-30 lbs, so I know its going to take some time.

Take your time and do it right. It is better to loose weight slowly and keep it off than to loose it fast and then put it back on equally fast.

Good luck David with both the Wayfinder submission and the job hunting with the Smithsonian.

~grumbles as I realize that today is a federal holliday~ Drat! Oh well, I guess there is no use in waiting for my paycheck to arrive on Friday.

David, sorry I missed you on FB, I had wandered off to do some laundry. I am back if you wanna chat.

Oh well. On the plus side, my Mutt is feeling better.

And then there are those of us who lose weight slowly and put it back on fast. :/

So now t looks like I won't be going to Neoncon. I was counting on a free GM pass, but it is only avalible if you run four sessions. I don't have the time or capacity to do that.

I don't know if it's the same for you, but after trying every crazy diet under the sun I've determined that there is nothing I can do with diet that will make me lose weight. But if I exercise as much as I ought to, I lose weight, even if I eat what I like. Guess it's just a metabolism thing or something.

I've been trying to lose a few too. Been trying to eat 4 or 5 small meals throughtout the day, and cutting back my total calories by 10% or so... it's supposed to convince my metabolism that I'm not dieting, so it shouldn't store fat.

Seems to be working so far, but it's darn slow. And the cravings suck.

Had to take the daughter to preschool. Normally the bus comes for her, but today she decided to play in the shower with her clothes on just two minutes before the bus came.

Cuts off Sharoth's head and burns it and the body seperately. Never can be too careful with zombies.

~wistles~ Wow! The live version is just as good as the CD version. Laura Branigan - Never in a million years.

{watches headless body pick up head (with Claymore embedded ala Steve Martin) and trudge off} Yep, clearly undead. Or demonic. Poor Lumpy... the Pony-Not-to-Be-Named must have turned him early in their unholy relationship.

lol. I love those ones where they do something that makes you both angry and at the same time barely holding in the hysterical laughter. :)

At least she was playing in the shower. That's much less messy than most of the other options for getting into trouble.

Then as I was reading this, the youngest decides to get a glass of milk and spills it all over the floor. ARGH!
