I too look forward to this book, I really thought I would stick with 3.5 and my house rules until I read the beta.
Well they did a rather excellent job of making the a game better I really thought was dang good to start with.
To me Pathfinder is the next edition of D&D. I've been playing since the '70s and I am just as hooked as ever thanks to Pathfinder.

There are lots of pictures available through the Twitter feed. Don't Twitter? What generation are you from?
...ok, I don't twitter but my daughter does so I'm trying.

You can keep up with the pics here and not twitterpate. I suggest we make a thread so we can discuss pictures posted there, for those of us who do not want to subscribe.

Weary is an alternate saying, about 20% as common as wicked. (per google search)
Congratulations Jason and all the rest!!!

Thanks everybody, I really do appreciate it.
This herculean project would not have been possible without the dedication of the playtesters and fans.
And Lisa.. I know.. no rest for me (and I am quite wicked and weary).

Thank you Jason and the rest of the Paizo folks for doing this. ~wicked grin~ Yes, it was sort of a matter of survival, but I for one appreciate all the effort put into the PF RPG!!! ~cracks the whip~ Now back to work, SLAVES!!! ~crack~
P.S. - Jason, you did REAL good and I am proud of you! Now go have another beer. You deserve it.

Holy Crap! I didn't expect you to respond! But, if Lisa says it's necessary, then it must be so! Okay.. You've convinced me..

I didn't expect that. But it makes sense: Paizo does sound Spanish, now that I think about it.
(or wicked weary, if you are in Maine).
If you're in maine, 500 odd pages are nothing. I could kill people with my Stand, and it's a softcover.
This herculean project would not have been possible without the dedication of the playtesters and fans.
So how many pages are dedicated to the dedications? :)

Will there be eventually a player only version of the book?
I know my players, and even though I can hardly wait for the book to arrive, I know that they are very hesitant to spend so much money, if quite some parts of the books aim at DMs and not players.Kr,

You know, I got a graduate degree in Classical philosophy, but I didn't recognize the brand name for what it was until a Dungeon editorial told me so. Thing is, people usually utilize accentuation for transliteration of Ancient Greek to differentiate (e.g.) omikrons from omegas - as in paizô - and I attribute my blind spot to that.

Does this mean it's too late to send you my 312 page thesis and playtest report on how broken the Jump spell is? At high levels, it results in two sets of characters: those with god-like powers and those without. It needs to be changed.
Assuming you caught that one minor (but extremely important) issue, CONGRATULATIONS!

Germans are fine when it comes to Ancient Greek...as long as you don't let them tell you how to pronounce it.
It's actually worse - have you ever heard a Brit speak Classical Greek (or Latin for that matter)? If you haven't, here's a primer on how they pronounce the proper names.
