That's not a ridiculous idea at all Rob. Like it much better and I can work it into Tzuchaleny's rather idealistic personality.
Want to go for it?
If you want to, sure! Keiva's from way up north in the Harrowdeep, quite new to the city, and is quite sickly (8 Con), sop she could use the protection. I’ve just written up her background, and she's in Khorl searching for an akashic node or witching site or old ruin in the goblin-infested areas, and could have contracted you as a bodyguard (of course, she believes the god of Khorl has brought the two of you together!)
Keiva’s very scholarly, but she can't control her magic very well and would probably think having a bodyguard whilst exploring ancient ruins the intelligent thing to do.
What do you think?

Not so orange. I can see them. Sort of. There is some difference, just not as much as you'd expect.
Nothing like an ambiguous result! I can't see any difference at all. I convinced myself I could, then checked the tags and found I had it backwards.
On the game front, I had happily assumed full gold. I rolled 90 gp and had to make deep cuts. Studded Jack, Pendrick is such a thug!

Has anyone played the adventure Fine Print (from the Diamond Throne site)?
Hate to be the party pooper here, but yeah, that's the starting adventure I like to use when running AU. :(
It's a good one though, so I can really try to keep my player knowledge separate from my character knowledge (and it's been a couple of years since I last read it).

Sounds like a quite natural pairing in a way, since they both have reasons to admire each other. How about this? Tzu meets Keiva in a library, when she's there hunting down more Litorian factoids. They share an interest in the ruins, which brings them closer, interest becomes liking and Keiva's scholarly tendencies are a huge help to Tzu who's always on the lookout for a cause.
Tzu is newly Oathbound, and sees in keeping Keiva safe a way to maybe save more than just the life of one weak girl. It's also the preservation of knowledge. The friendship with Pendrick can come about quite naturally if they are sparring partners. Reflexes have to honed every day, whatever weapon you use.
Something along those lines maybe?
Now, back to the horrendous (to me) task of statting her up so we can all go and play.

Keiva should be all done now (beyond tying her more closely to Tzuchaleny, if needed). Added her background (which also explains some of her abilities), changed a couple of skills around to match her background, and got rid of some equipment once I rolled for money.
Sounds good Rosey - and Keiva speaks Litorian now too!

After a couple months of making Pathfinder characters, it was actually kind of hard to wrap my head back around 4x skill points at 1st level and stuff!
Considering that you've got Perception and Craft (alchemy) listed in your skills, I'd say you're still having trouble wrapping your head around 3.x skills. ;)
Split it up into Listen, Search, and Spot like the rest of us!Also, you get 4 extra languages from your Int. (And you're as smart of Keiva!) And I believe you should be able to ready 4 1st-level spells instead of 3.

Think I'm done. Please confirm if you'd be so kind?
Tzu gets an extra language from Intelligence too! Might I humbly suggest Faen? It's what all the cool kids are speaking these days...
But from what I see, Tzu's Int is 12, which gives her +1 skill point instead of +2, for only 20 skill points at 1st level.
And Fort save should be +4.

I'm with Kruelaid on this one; you guys are better at spotting errors on each other's sheets than I am! Also, this is my first time out running AE/AU so the more knowledgeable amongst you, feel free to chime in if my rulings get iffy.
Rob - if you can separate player/character knowledge, that would be dandy.

Sorted the skills. Dumped Concentration. Think the Fort is right though isn't it? Str 16, giving +3 and Oathsworn get a +2 to F/R/W.
Language updated.

Yeesh, he's polylingual as all get out! Thanks for the spot-check!

Oh, hawtness, you get bonus spells readied *and* spell slots from a high Int (or Wis/Cha, depending on class) score! That I did not notice!
