You're right Sorin, I'll make sure I add that in there next post. I knew I missed something
Clandru swings at the croc as it scrambles on the wood, bashing him with the shaft, but not penetrating Gobblegut's thick hide.

Seeing that for the moment Gobblegut was back in the water, Dorran takes a 5ft step to the west ending in A2 and quickly digs into his belt pouch and pulls out a cure light wounds potion and downs its contents. The ranger then draws his swords

Dorran quickly pulls himself away from the edge of the walkway scrambling for a potion at his belt, he quaffs the potion and the blood pooling around his leg begins to subside, the wounds having closed, still a bit stiff from the crushing damage but the tears in the flesh have bee healed.
Pavo Alazario |
Coming to his senses a bit now that Lamm has hidden himself in his room, Pavo changes the focus of his ire onto Gobbleguts, who seems to be trying to make a snack out of their halfling acquaintance. Using the only ranged option at his disposal, Pavo mumbles off a few arcane syllables as a glob of acid forms around his hands. Then pointing the acid in the croc's direction, it flies, striking the crocodile square in the back.

After Dorran slides back from the edge of the walkway and drinks his potion; Pavo changes the focus of his ire onto Gobbleguts, who seems to be trying to make a snack out of their halfling acquaintance. Using the only ranged option at his disposal, Pavo mumbles off a few arcane syllables as a glob of acid forms around his hands. Then pointing the acid in the croc's direction, it flies, striking the crocodile square in the back., the acid making a nasty hiss as it eats through the thick hide. As Pavo is launching the acid at the croc, Clandru moves around the edge of the walkway, sliding past Pavo, bravely placing himself between the sorcerer and Gaedren. Sorin scrambles next to Dorran, and fires an arrow at Gobbleguts, but doesn't quite take into account his new angle, and the arrow embeds itself in the wooden walkway.
DM X |
Gobbleguts, confused by the attack thrashes, then spins to the back it fixates on the target that was moving, Clandru, as it moves across the water, and attempts to climb up onto the edge of the walkway again (provoking another AoO from Clandru and one from Marra. Marras drops and slices with the razor, drawing a line in Gobblegut's right rear leg. Gobblegut pulls itself up next to Clandru. (F4) Snapping it's jaws at him.
Gaedren pokes his head thru the partially opened door, and giggles, "Oo Eee, Gobbleguts is gonna get a'nice meal t'day!!!" Then he ducks back into the doorway and closes the door. (He did not see Marra there, and expected Gobbleguts to quickly drop the cleric.)
Clandru make your AoO, as Gobbleguts is climbing.
Mechanics:
Gobbleguts rolled a 19 on the climb check.
Marras AoO: 1d20+4=15, 1d4+3=4
Marrala the Lost |
Marra is torn, Help defend Clandru, or attack Gobbleguts...she decides to attack the Crocodile...
"Quickly priest, let's finish this beast before it can do more damage."
Marra takes a step toward the gator. Then lunges forward, drawing the razor down the croc's belly, slicing it open as the War Razor neatly separates the thick hide, Marra's strength pulling the razor through the flesh.
1d20+4=22, 1d4+3=6 confirm critical: 1d20+4=17, 1d4+3=7 Critical!!!
That should have been for Gaedren!!!
Clandru KRUPTER |
While Gobbleguts is coming in his direction , Clandru interpose his glaive by reflex . It seems to be more efficient than his previous attacks ...
AoO : Att 18 Damage 7
DM X |
Clandru slices into Gobbleguts thick skull while it had three legs on the walkway...stunning the beast for the shortest of moments, that moment was when Marra had chosen to strike, the war razor tearing through the beast, it's guts spilling out onto the walkway, along with a young girl's arm...as the crocodile loses the battle with consciousness, and falls to the walkway, blood soaking through the floorboards to the water below.

Pavo Alazario |
Spotting his sister's arm peeking out of the croc's belly, Pavo's eyes flash utter hatred as he turns to face the door that Gadrean hides behind. Drawing his kukri from the sheath at his belt, he simply looks to Marra as he says, "Let's get this filth that calls himself human." Then he will slide past Clandru as launches a glob of acid at the door, doing his bast to weaken the door before Marra tries to open it.
DM X |
Dorran draws his blades and steps next to Xarra, placing his hand on her shoulder. Clandru moves toward Dorran, chanting to Abadar, and places his hands upon Dorran. "Abadar, please protect this warrior from evil" Pavo growls "Let's get this filth that calls himself human." As he steps up and launches a glob as acid at the door, the acid begins to eat through the door. "Hey Dorran" Sorin whispers, "You think you could break through that wall? If we both charge we might make it through and take him by surprise." As he looks at the old but fairly solid looking wall
Marrala the Lost |
Marra, not hearing Sorin's whisper, spins slamming her shield into the door, as it crashes open, Gaedren lunges at Marra, his dagger flashing toward her chest, the armor and protective magics pushing the blade away...
"You'll have to do better than that worm, I'm not a defenseless child anymore!" Marra spits. "May Iomedae intercept your soul before Pharasma sends you to your doom. For today you die, no more harm shall you do."
"You wronged Zelarra and each of us...Time to Pay..."
Gaedrenn laughs a little at this..."Ah yes, so pretty that one was, beautiful eyes, couldn't part with those, she's in here, with us, play a little hide in seek little Marra? Calliope had pretty eyes too, didn't she..."
Mechanics: Marra moved and opened the door (unlocked), since Gaedren was ready to attack.

Sorin wrote:I thought you could pass through allies squares just not end in one.Not when they're engaged in combat unless you make an acrobatics check
Pathfinder Movement: [update]Friend
You can move through a square occupied by a friendly character, unless you are charging. When you move through a square occupied by a friendly character, that character doesn’t provide you with cover. [/UPDATE]
Now, Dorran could have moved through, but since Gaedren is threatening those squares, it would provoke and AoO, since he didn't declare an acrobatic skill roll. But that's not what I heard him trying to do.
Pavo Alazario |
Seeing Dorran so close to the despicable man, Pavo switches strategies as he summons up the arcane energy inherit in his slim body. As arcane energy reaches out from his form, it does it's best to mingle with Lamm's own essence as it troes to warp Gaedran's perceptions of friend and foe.
Casting Charm person on Lamm DC 14 Will Save
DM X |
Dorran's attack is masterfully struck, sliding between the opening of the doorway and Marra, his blade slicing down through Gaedren's left bicep, forearm and thigh. the blood begins to flow profusely.
Pavo steps up and attempts to control Gaedren's mind, Gaedren's eyes glaze over, a smile begins to appear on his lips, then he shakes his head, and scowls at Pavo, his eyes narrowing dangerously...
"Foolish boy, I've been around too long for that trick to work."
Mechanics:

Sorry map needs updating after Gaedren moved, he's in the far left upper corner. Marra is next to him.
Gaedren D1
Marra D2

In a flash Sorin appears next to Marra.
Gaedren spits in Marras face...spit mixed with blood. "Ah, now now, you're looking more and more like the little girl I once knew..."

DM X |
Dorran says "This comes to an end"
and so it does...
Gaedren let's out a pitiful gurgle as Dorran's blade cuts through his jugular and windpipe...his eyes glaze over, and he tumbles off the bed...still breathing but not for long.
Combat is over, baring any coup d'grace from Pavo or Clandru. If neither of them finishes Gaedren off, Marra does (Unless she's forcibly restrained)
Pavo Alazario |
Pavo, seeing Gaedran in Marra's merciless hands, simply turns to the sad task of retrieving his sister's corpse from the croc's belly. Gently cutting at the croc's belly, he does his best to free his sister. Once that is done, he rests his dead sister's corpse on the dock and kneels next to it, His blody Kukri resting in his loose grip. The young noble seems to just stare at his sister's cold body in a complete daze. I have failed again. First the Academae and now my own sister. My father was right.
