I wasn't sure where to put this, so please feel free to move ...
I read today under the 50% off Dragon and Dungeon blurb (very cool, by the way) that the reason for the sale is that Paizo is moving and doesn't want to have to move all those back issues.
Paizo is moving? Did I miss this? Is this new info?
Are you guys moving across town, across state? Bigger and/or better digs?
Just curious. OK, really curious!

Our lease at our current space is up this summer, and since we are bursting at the seams warehouse-wise, we will need to move to new digs. At this time, we are still in the window-shopping phase, so no idea where we are moving. But it will be within the Seattle area, hopefully within 10 miles or so of our current place. Also, it will hopefully be both bigger and better. :)

I know, not helpful, but I couldn't pass it up. At least I spoilerized it.
It's a trap!!!!!!!
Of course, Dallas has a stronger gaming community, but that's 'cause they have less to do there...(Sorry, Oak God, couldn't resist)

Thanks for the help guys, but we have a company that has been working with us for almost 2 years now and we have a couple of options that we are in various stages of negotiating with. Hopefully I can have a place picked out by mid-March at the latest and they can start building it out for our crazy group.

If they're going to put a regional office anywhere, I suggest the East Coast. That way, between both locations they can divide the country between them.
Maybe a nice place in Philadelphia? I here there are some great buildings being renovated on the old Navy base (where we only occasionally uncover old cannonballs). Even Urban Outfitters is located there. Hip, trendy, and historic - what more could you ask for?

You lure Paizo away from Seattle and you'll experience the most passive-aggressive backlash imaginable. Hands off, outlanders, or I'll cut you with my strongly worded post-it reminders!
Oh yeah?! I will chew up your furniture, dig up your petunia's and leave you an unpleasant 'surprise' on the carpet.
Texas! Texas! Texas!

It would be funny as all get out if you guys got a new office not more then a few blocks from WotC here in Renton. (Hey Renton rent has to be cheaper the Bellevue rent doesn't it)?
They should really consider moving here to Capitol Hill. The whole staff could get F. Wesley emo-bobs and host games at Linda's and Chop Suey. Imagine it: Pathfinder scenarios by red light, over pink martinis. Woo!

another vote for Dallas
I mean really, what does Seattle have that Dallas doesn't...besides that whole mountain and sea stuff?
Plus if you moved to Dallas I could apply for that software position...which doesn't appear to be list anymore...dang it

Seattle has a ridiculously high concentration of gamers. Why, just yesterday, while waiting in line at the cafe for my non-fat caramel latte, a game broke out between some paralegals and a bike messenger. It was a Nic Logue mini adventure, so everyone's characters had been molested by hillbillies before they got their drinks.

We aren't moving from the Seattle area. We aren't opening any new offices around the world. There is nothing to see here. These aren't the droids you are looking for. Move along. Move along.

This still doesn't resolve the Miley Cyrus issue, however.

May I suggest you keep your offices in the Seattle area, but consider locating your warehouse and shipping here in New Orleans. Our periodic flooding will help to cull these excess inventory buildups. Feel free to launch new products with the insurance money.

You mean that Paizo can't see the obvious benifits to business from moving to one of the most remote cities in the world, on a continent that time forgot, with a currency that's gone snorkeling?
I am surprised!
Now I shall move along.

Paizo has an address...and in Seattle?
Huh. Hope I can come and buy my copy of your RPG in person.
Well, our current location isn't zoned for retail, so that would make the local authorities (and the landlord) unhappy.
If the new location ends up being in a zone where retail sales are allowed, we might potentially be able to allow local customers to pick up orders.

Okay, okay. But ... But in Ottawa, people know how to drive in the snow. Seriously! We're good at that. You wouldn't have had to take all those stressful days away from the office around Christmas time ... I know how hard that was on you all. If you moved to Ottawa, you could have driven into the office behind a fleet of snowploughs. That's a plus, eh? And our snow ploughs are ready to go during the 6 months of the year that we have snow on the ground...
