Pathfinder RPG Beta Softback

OK,

First off I want to say THANKS for working with the community and bringing us a continuation and improvement of the game we all know and love!

Now on to my real point. I have downloaded a lot of the stuff online, and bought two copies of the soft back. But, I wanted to pick up several more copies to give out as gifts to my gaming group as Xmas presents. But I cannot find them! My local store is out as I bought the last copy, and the online locations where I have looked are out as well.

Is this going to stay out of print before the final release? I was looking forward to a playtest campaign this spring with my group. And we want to both support the effort by paying for a copy as well as have several to pass around when the need presents itself.

Sorry—it's completely sold out, and it's not economically sensible to reprint it this close to the end of the playtest.

However, we don't mind if you have your PDF printed for personal use by a professional copy shop such as Kinko's.

Why not offer it via CreateSpace?

CS cost (with free Proplan): 29,34$. Retail it at 29.95 and voila, 5$ over previous cost, still nice. :)

HA! I got my answer.. printing the PF Beta pdf, color, double sided, bound, would cost approx. $215... I'll save my money for something else lol...

If you print the interior pages in B&W and get a spiral binding, it's considerably cheaper.

They accidentally printed my Alpha 3 in color and instead of wasting more paper to do it in b&w they just gave me the cheaper price. So I suggest asking for just the cover in color and the rest b&w and hope they make the same mistake!

There are still copies available via Amazon. They're actually being sold by various small game shops (support your local game shop! ) but they're distributed via Amazon.

I was close to buying a 2nd copy, but I think I'll just wait and buy the hard cover guide and the hard cover beast guide in August.

EDIT -

Wow! I just checked the Amazon price. New and used from $43. I got mine new for $14 just 2 months ago.

Printing it out yourself may be the better deal.

Does that include services like lulu.com? (for personal bound copies only, not published for others)

I did this at work. Double Paged, Color, Bound and everything. It didn't cost me anything, so if you happen to work for a multinational capitalist evil corporation like I do, that will work :-)
