wow I just finished looking through all of the fan art requests and they are amazing! kudos to everyone who contributed *ahem*
anyways I am in the process of drawing a creature I came up with a while back called the Zhedal, and I wanted to see if anyone would mind doing their own rendition of it. here is it's history + description
The Zhedal are truly horrifying creatures. they are, in essence a perverse fusion of many creatures. though they are not to be confused with Chimeras. the Zhedal were said to be born during a great massacre within an ancient harem located in the submerged city, in which through the nightmares and hatred of the women who suffered...came their birth. it is said that due to the circumstance of their making, they have and insatiable hatred to the men who killed them, because of of this they assume that any man they meet killed them so, they strive to rid the lands of men, then and only then, may the Zhedal find peace and without further ado....
The Zhedal appear as a harem of very beautiful, voluptuous women; with bronze colored skin, long, wavy red hair and sultry silver eyes...however once angry The Zhedal become fearsome: while retaining their beauty, they grows fangs, their fingernails become long and scythe-like, glowing sky blue markings appear on their skin, their lower bodies disappear at the hip and are replaced with long almost snake-like tubes that connect to another much larger woman who walks using the smaller women, so if you can the smaller women walking on their hands, supporting the larger "alpha female"
whew that was a mouthful...if any one choose to draw this, that'd be awesome and if more clarification is needed for the appearance, email me at blackessque_13_boi@yahoo.com
ciao
btw my version'll be up soon....and it's my first post yahooooo!!

** spoiler omitted **
Tarren Dei, here is your requested orifice. Won't your players love to be snuggled and caressed by this tentacled aberration?
This one is creepy awesome! I agree that your style is great also for tentacled mosters!

for my birthday a friend make a 2nd version for the Raksa
That reminds me, do you know you posted my Raksa sketch in the listing rather than the finished one? (Or did I miss it?)
That was nice of your friend, I should do that too since money is tight these days.

C-Jack, its there, under Monsters... but in 2008, this one is listed in Monsters 2009
one of this days I will have to separate both things in a mroe ordered way... right now the list is good
well drawings make friends happy and we do understand people is tight on money this days, so I do believe most would see the put on this kind of things...
of course there are also jerks out there :P butone usually know who this are.

Good idea! Nowadays some "art" may compensate for purchased gifts

Thanks very much!
Why thank you, I may color this as it's hard to represent strands of seaweed and kelp in pencil convincingly.

no takers for the zhedal?
Azhagal, I've got a small backlog, and considering that I haven't been drawing this week, it may be another couple of weeks before I can get to it, but I'd be interested in doing a version of the zhedal. Hopefully, though, someone else will trump me for it and do a version for you quicker, because I'm spending more time writing than illustrating currently.

And your mist wraith still looks better than mine. Thanks!
I liked your Mist Wraith!
Don't mind me. I'm just having an attack of artistic insecurity. And I am kinda down on that one because there are a lot of flaws caused by my unfamiliarity with actually adding water to the water color. Things like using non-water-soluble ink for the outlines...

You and me both.
Speaking of monsters, this isn't Pathfinder-related, but I've decided to post it anyway: the Tuunbaq

Okay!
New Monster drawing, by my wife, Sarah.
(Maybe this belongs in the 'Tentacles' thread...?)
Yo. That's dope.

Whoa. That rocks man. Very cool.

Here is my finished drawing from this last week, the mist wraith mothman requested. I hope this comes close to what you intended.
Lynora, so sorry I missed this before, there was a long while there where I didn’t check the thread, and then when I did come back to it I just kind of skimmed …
Anyway, thanks so much for taking this one on. I like it, especially the face, which is great, and the eyes, which are awesome. While I quite like the take that Jack had on the face, your version Lynora is exactly what I had in mind.
I went back and read the description I posted of the monster and realized that I didn’t really give the details on what I had in mind for the feet. I think your drawing of the bottom of the coat dissolving into mist looks good, and matches really well with what I wrote … but I actually had something else in mind. No disrespect to your artistic skills, the fault is in my description.
What I had in mind is that these guys wear kind of long stockings and old fashioned or fey shoes, like with a pointed toe like a pixie or a big buckle like a leprechaun. Whatever style of shoe, the toes kind of point downwards, and the feet hover about a foot off the ground.
Anyway, great drawings Lynora and Jack both.

Callous Jack wrote:Dude, the seaweed ship is awesome! Love it.
The Mist Wraith is pretty cool too, thanks for having a go at it. The outfit and face are great. I had in mind really, like unnaturally long fingernails, and kind of pointy toed and/or buckled shoes, but I do like your take on it.
Thanks, the ship came out cool for how much I rushed through the painting. I hope that's enough seaweed...
I pretty much figured the Mist Wraith would wear some sort of fancy shoe but I was having trouble with the perspective on his feet and still hadn't figured out a good way to do the mist in pencil to my satisfaction. Plus he looked like a Nosferatu which annoyed me.

Wow... weird. I wonder if i was channeling this art when I sketched the idea.
