I moved into my first (and only) purchased home 7 years ago now.
I STILL have not gotten around to unpacking all of the cr@p, I mean STUFF, that I refused to throw away that is still in boxes in the garage. ;P
On the other hand, moving multiple times after Katrina was a WONDERFUL motivator/assistant for getting rid of all of the cr@p that I DID get rid of! :)

We are renting still (can't really settle on where to live but have a few more years till the baby has to start first grade to figure that out) so that is my 6th move in about 10 years.
From one bedroom to now an entire house, I prefer the 1 bedroom moves!
My wife just has samples and product for work whereas I have a library worth of books. Still, you don't realize how much stuff you have till you have to move!

Even if you know you have a lot of stuff, when it's all on shelves or stored properly in boxes it just doesn't seem like too much.

Not quite :-) V20 are the 20th Anniversary Edition rules. Some changes good, some not so good. That system to me is the easiest system to play, in my experience anyway.

And the kids had a blast. My 12 yr old son drug me on every coaster at least 2 or 3 times each. The dragons I think we did 5 times? I lost count. ;P And both kids drug us onto both Harry Potter rides multiple times.

And yeah, I'm a bit lost on what's going on in game now. I sort of stopped paying attention when I was out of the action for so long. And then NaNo happened and all my brain space was taken up by novel. So now that's over, ummm.....we're out of the creepy theater area, yes? And there was a fire I noticed. Because this is why we can't have nice things. :)
So we're just outside and wandering?
Yeah, so, (after the whole shut down the portal and way home thing) basically we were trying to catch 40 winks to allow us all to rest up, and so Ekuur could pray for the spell to restore Karrin's level dmg.
UNfortunately, we were interrupted in our nap by bloodthirsty theater puppets. i think. Then we had finally gotten them to lay off when we were attacked (again) by Mr 'I Am Death-puppet-laughy-clown'. Trying to stop him basically took a LOT of hitting, both magical and weapon-wise, from everyone. :/
So yeah, we beat 'em, we exited the burning building. (Which, strictly speaking, was NOT Justin's fault. This time.) :/
And now we are pretty much standing out front trying to decide whether to hide in another building, or just make a run for it.
Does that about sum it up? That's what I recall. But I confess it's been a long week and I'm tired. :)

Sorry, I just had a flash of a scene from a video game (Lollipop chainsaw?) where the lead heroine @$$-kicker keeps her xombified boyfriend's head hanging from her belt.
I had this sudden image of us just walking into any intelligent-undead-inhabited building, kicking the snot out of it's owners, putting an intelligent undead's head on a stick, and demanding directions from it! :)

Hi everyone!
I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year and give you all an update on my schedule
As some of you have likely noticed, I have not been about a lot. I have had a lot on my plate these past couple of months, and although I truly love GMing, I had to cut corners somewhere. Thus, I have not been updating in a timely fashion. For this I apologize. If I wanted to take the easy way out, I would just shutter the three games I am running, but I don't want to do that. Gaming is one of my most cherished pastimes, even if I have not had time for it lately.
On a more positive note: it seems like my house will be sold this Friday. This is the culmination of eight months of pretty intensive labor and stress, especially since I was left to do it all on my own. Having this project done will free up some time.
I am also beginning a Paralegal program this week. Paradoxically I think that I might have some extra time with the MBTA commute into Boston. That's a developing issue, and I will see if it affects my time.
Anyway, thank you all for your patience. I love our games, and I am loathe to shutter them. I hope we can get to a place where I am posting regularly again
