Hmmmmmm. Too long to wait. It's a shame, but, what can you do?
I'm still running RotRL, but I've passed around the word that I'm going to start the next AP, maybe alternating sessions week-by-week. This means I wont have to think about starting for a while.
I love urban adventuring, and CotCT, I have a funny feeling, is going to be alot like RotRL 1, 2, and 3 in quality, but for all 6 issues. they're starting off with Logue, for gods' sake! how can it not rock?

I'm *VERY* eager to use the CotCT adventure path.
I'll be honest, I found the adventures from ROTRL really gripping and exactly what I wanted to run, however Golarion leaves me flat. There are some elements I really, truly love about Golarion (Thessalonia, goblins, and giants, to start), but the nomenclature and culture doesn't fit my image of the world as it should be, so I'm inclined to tinker a lot.
So, I've adapted my old, old, old, old (did I mention old?) AD&D campaign world from my university days, and it fits the dark Logue/Pettishness of Pathfinder very nicely. I've got my own version of the COTCT player's guide done up, and I'm raring to go!
All I need now is Pathfinder #7 ... :)

Start running an adventure now? :)
If you ask me, the city is a big enough for you to do a "getting the PCs together" adventure now. Maybe a family has a dire rat living in their basement. Maybe the sewers have a gator problem. :P
There's a lot of no brainer adventures you can start now in the meantime to make the time pass.

Is it just me, or does the delay between PF #6 and PF #7 seem a lot longer than usual?
I mean, it must have been several years by now since my last PF fix...

My GM refuses to start until he has the *second* episode in his hands. While I understand his reasons (having gotten badly bitten by RotRL several times) it's driving me crazy. We have characters already, we did a short getting-acquainted adventure, and I want to start now!
He's afraid that the second episode will put strong constraints on how he needs to depict institutions like the temples and wizards' guilds, and he wants to know that before he establishes something he'll have to recant later.
We'll be done with RotRL before we start, though maybe not by very much (the endgame combats take a long, long time). But I'm also finding that I'm more excited by CotCT than by the endgame of RotRL, partly because high-level play is really not my thing, and partly because I've been GMing and I'm really jonesing to get to play....

I'm a DM who's rewriten COTCT's Player's Guide to my own campaign world, and I am just waiting for PF #7 to come out so I can start. This campaign path looks fantastic! I want to start now!

I'm also anxiously awaiting the Guide before I start things off.

I'll tell him so. (But we have to figure out how to have two identities with one email address, or he'll be "Mary Yamato" again.)

You could just create an alias under your existing account, and have him post under the alias name.

I got my notification too. really hefty price tag, since the guide to korvosa, the map folio, the harrow deck, and PF 7 are all on it. luckily, the next month's wont be so bad.
Sooooooooooooo Looooooonnnnggggg tooooooo wwwaaaiiiiiittttttttt...
I mean, it's an urban adventure, set in a london-esque city, written by nick logue, with one of the main villains being a mean old man with a pet gator. how, how can it not be great? how can it not set a new benchmark for storytelling and fantasy gaming?

Well, you know, making our Abe Lincoln and George Washington cosplay costumes takes a lot of time and energy. This year I dressed as William Henry Harrison, but I caught a cold and only came into work for a few minutes.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Blinks, waits for Logue's ego monster to appear.
The one that looks like a big baby with wings.
Chapter 3 is much better.
No Escape.
You have been warned.
