I got my Christmas card in the mail today and I laughed my a#@ off. This is one more reason why I spend so much time the message boards and support this great company.
Thanks for the card and Marry Christmas to everyone at Paizo.

I thought the song was adorable. It was so cute. I loved that the Paizo-guy was the tree on the front.
The Pathfinder goblins are just the perfect badguys. They're adorable and silly but also frightening and creepy in their own way. They've got a lot of dimension compared to the regular 1st level D&D ones. Makes you wish you could just play them as a character.
Anyway thanks! This made my Christmas!

Okay this was the best Christmas card ever.
I had one of my players call me on the phone to sing me the goblin Christmas song. That alone made my holidays.
But I love that drawing of the goblins lighting each other on fire on the cover, with that iconically vacant and mischievious goblin look on their bathsponge faces. Sweet.

I thought it was so funny I sang it out loud to my wife. I'm thinking of leaving it on the voicemail of all the players in my group.
I wonder who at Paizo came up with the lyrics?
Song lyrics, don't open til Christmas?
(Sung to the tune of Jingle Bells)
Sneaking through your yard,
Going through your stuff,
Hope you didn't like your dog; we got a little rough!
Tied him to a stump,
Lit the stump on fire,
Maybe you'll wake up in time to put out puppy's pyre!
Now we're in your house,
It's fancied up so nice!
With shiny things set all about, there's lots to break and slice!
Here's a stocking full,
And there's a gift-wrapped toy,
For a bit we stand agog - there's so much to destroy!
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
In a pile, Goblin style!
What could be more fun?
Breaking toys for girls and boys
Until we're finally done!
When you wake, hearts will break;
Because we had our way!
This is great! Let's celebrate!
A Goblin Holiday!

Any chance that us in Europe can see it before Christmas, perhaps officially in the Blog or a picture of it from a happy Paizo customer?
:-)
Thanks!
Stegger, your card will be in the last volume of Pathfinder that shipped to you. Depending on how fast you receive PFs, its possible you'll get it before the end of the year.
I should note one thing for our non-Christmas celebrating friends and readers: Paizo does not send out Christmas cards. We send out holiday cards and nothing on that card indicated that it was for Christmas specifically. We like to honor all possible wintery celebrations for our customers and readers. :-)

Way to cover your a#$. The bad thing is even it you made to post more in jest than legal reasons I am sure some one was offended by all the Christmas being thrown around. What a world we live in.
Happy Holidays

I'm less concerned about offending someone (or even litigation) than simply making our customers who don't celebrate Christmas aware that we love them just as much as our Christmas-celebrators. As such, we don't officially celebrate ANY holidays. (Except National Talk Like a Pirate Day, which I know offends Ninjas. Sorry, Mike.)

As a half-a-Jew, I was going to make a joke about that but noticed it didn't specifically say 'Christmas' either. In fact, the golem on the front might even be interpreted as being a Jewish mythological figure and I was pretty close to pointing out how Paizo was ignoring its Christmas-celebrating customers completely.

WHAT??
No National Erik Mona Day!?

Thank you for the card! Very whimsical.
And has one who worships only Death Herself, I am not offended by calling something by what it is--a CHRISTMAS card.
If not for those silly Christians and their belief that a virgin can give birth to a kid, we would not have the tune the song was to be sung to, or the candy canes, or the Santa outfits the goblins are wearing.
And, as mentioned, if not for those silly Jews, Paizo would not have that nifty mascot!
Let us embrace everyone, but let us not forget the differences that make us so interesting!
Let me say it loud and clear: MERRY CHRISTMAS! For every Christmas that passes brings you all one year closer to meeting my Dread Mistress...

Around our house we tend to call it a Solstichaunakwanzamas card/gift/holiday. I don't think we left anything out. We're an inclusive household. :-)

This was the best Christmas card ever.
I'd have to agree; thanks guys.
I was going to add that "The Paizo Guy," all tied up, might now turn into some Paizo cult symbol. I never really cared about the illustration before, but now, seeing the character all tied up, I wonder if he has a Name, Background, maybe even Character Class or HD.

Thanks! Loved the song too!
In fact, I got pissed at first because I really love my dog, and the imagery made me mad as hell... and then I remembered that the singer's point of view was the goblin's.. and how my players all but exterminated the entire Thistletop tribe.
That made me feel all warm inside.
Happy Holidays!

Yes...I have been looking for a thread for this, as I got mine last week.
A hearty thank you to Paizo for the most wonderful Yuletide card I have ever received. It will be the first Holiday card that I am actually going to keep (the others are read, then tossed), the little discount is an extra touch of Paizonian goodness as well.
What has (as usual) impressed me the most is, I completely wasn't expecting anything like this. I haven't ever really heard of a company doing this for their loyal fans. Paizo, you have just reinforced my devotion to your wonderful company. You guys/gals have gone above and beyond in so many ways, that this just helps push things over the top.
And to all...
Marry Christma...err..Merry Chris....no..
AH!
Merry Paizomas!
or Marry Paizo if you swing that way.

Just got mine this afternoon. The postie dropped the white envelope off at my door (even knocked and everything!), and usually I rip it open straight away to get at the Pathfinder and Gamemastery goodness inside. But this time I didn't even pause long enough to even look at the covers, I just wanted the card to see what everyone was raving about.
Now, I had high expectations after seeing what everyone had been writing about, and let me just say, you blew them away. That card is awesome, and the best Christmas Card I have ever received. Thanks a lot, it is the little things like this that make me actually want to spend money on rhe stuff you keep putting out.
Thanks

Because my favorite D&D publisher sent me a Christmas card. Not friends or loved ones; my favorite D&D publisher.
I just got mine this afternoon - talk about in the nick of time! This is the only Christmas card I got this year, too. The house is full of them but they're all for my wife. None of my friends or family sent me one - now I feel loved :)

My Pathfinder hard copy arrived today but I didn't get a Christmas card. All subscribers were meant to get one right?
Yep, every subscriber was supposed to get a card. Did you check in the envelope? Quite a few folks missed the card and had to dig in the trash to find the envelope to get the card. Otherwise, it is just a mistake by our warehouse crew. When you are putting thousands and thousands of subscriber copies together, it is easy to forget to put the card in a couple. Sorry that yours was one of the ones that got missed Olaf. :/
