Good luck from the Judges

RPG Superstar™ 2008 General Discussion

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

On behalf of me, Erik, Wolfgang and the Paizo crew: good luck to everyone when the results come out!!!

Remember, there are no losers here. This was an amazing competition. I would have been proud to have included the 600th item in line from this competition in one of my books. That's how strong it was.

I can't wait for the next round!

Liberty's Edge

Thanks Clark. Now ... we wait!

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

and wait...and wait...and wait...

Seconded.

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

Boomer, how can you second that? It includes none of your three movie ingredients--booze, naked women and D&D.

Well, now that I think about it, there is booze. And, though no one gets naked, there is implied sex and Renault is one of the horniest screen characters ever. And though there is no D&D, Bogie does get his screen intro playing chess, the second coolest game to D&D. Plus, Peter Lorre looks like gollum. So that kind of counts.

Hey, man: I lack talent, not taste.

Does that mean we all have an open invitation to write for Necromancer?

Well that is provided I was not the 601 ranked submission.

Legendary Games, Necromancer Games

The time is almost here.

Of course, I know all the names and screen names of the people who won; but now soon so will you!

Good luck everyone!!!

It has been my pleasure to judge your submissions.

Clark

Thanks Clark, Erik and Wolfgang,

I'm really nervous... but also, win or lose, oh so curious to see the items. I have a game Friday and I'm always looking for new goodies.

Cheers guys!

I can't even wait to start voting...

... I think my organs would fall out of an orifice if I'm picked.

Anyway, good luck to everyone!

I will pray to the gods I just invented that that doesn't happen to anyone.

Good luck to all of us, and thank you, Paizo and judges, for this fantastic event!

Second that the contest was a lot of fun and I enjoyed reading all the posts from the judges and the contestents.

Really looking forward to seeing those 32 items.

I'm hoping my DM isn't paying too close attention - don't want to give him any ideas, he's already gotten really nasty with the pseudonatural template, doesn't need beaucoup magic items too.

Yeah, thanks. Even if I don't get anywhere, this has given me the push needed to get off my butt and start writing seriously in the hopes of getting published, even if I have to publish myself.

So winner or not, I am no longer a loser... until the top 32 get posted!

Will you contact the creator of the item? I'm sure that s/he will want to know!
