Issue 139 for me took exactly as long as Cosmo said it would. It got here on the Thursday after Labor Day and shipped on the 22nd of August. I expect issue 140 to get here probably sometime around the first week in October. My guess would be on the 4th or 5th of October. That will be plenty early enough as my group just now finished with Parot Island and will be checking out the Taxidermist Building this Saturday and probably start the Lotus Dragon Guildhouse. My plan is to have the Lotus Dragon Guildhouse to take two sessions and I will encourage my players to make multiple forays into it. I think if they try to do it all in one go without rest they are going to get slaughtered. There are no less than 20 1st level rogues in the guildhouse, not to mention the Worg, 4 Rhagodessan, the 3rd Level fighter/rogue torture master, I ixixchaticls or however you spell it, and Rowyn and Gut Tugger. So top to bottom I expect it to take another two weekends at a minimum and perhaps longer depending on how things shake down. That will give me a full 3 weeks before I "need" 140. If I had to I could also squeeze in a little side trek to buy myself some time.
In any event, I think it will arrive in plenty of time.

Yeah I'm still waiting for 139 too. I was excited about it, but now I'm just annoyed that I've had to look at on the newstands for a week and am still waiting for mine.
It must be nice to be anxiously awaiting the arrival of #140!
I STILL haven't received #139. At this point, it's hard to get enthusiastic about STAP.

Is it possible that you guys still waiting for #139 are from the New York or New Jersey area? We had a truck with 77 subscriber copies on it literally explode about two weeks ago, and no one seems to be able to tell us which subscribers were effected. If you think you may have been, I urge you to contact our customer service department and we will get replacements out ASAP.
If you're not from that area and still don't have the issue, I urge a few more days of patience.
Thanks,
Erik

Still haven't seen issue 139.
I'm not hopeful about 140.
Customer Service still hasn't answered the email I sent.
I'm letting my subscription lapse at the end. Paizo sucks.
I apologize for the delayed response, but we had a few problems with the delivery of this much-anticipated issue and so Customer Service has been a little backlogged. However, your email was answered this morning and I replied to your previous post here.
Thanks,
cos

I wouldn't know when it will arrive. I'm sure my local post office will keep it safe until I get home next year.
As for getting it out here (in Iraq) at the PX... I went today and they are still stocking 138. Sooooo frustrating, esp since the Player's Guide is dloadable.
If Paizo allowed people to subscribe to the AP, and the AP only, for a small fee... so we can dload PDFs of all the related information... I would be in. $25 would be a good price. I would pay it, esp for the chance to get my grubby paws on the AP before it's all over!

They must have mishandeled all the other magazines they sent you, huh? You probably never got one ontime, ever. They must have screwed you left and right, huh? They probably haven't even sent them to you. They must have the worst record of any service industry ever, huh? I bet they don't even let you download the hundreds of MBs of free downloads they let everyone else download, huh? Because, you sure don't sound like the situation is anything less then that.
People, you need to relax and take a deep breath. There's plenty of decafinated brands out there that taste just as good as regular coffee.
It's a magazine...for a game...not your heart medication.
If you get this worked up over a magazine, I wonder how you took the fact there were no WMDs in Iraq or that Hussein had nothing to do with 9/11. Or that they cancelled 'Firefly'.
Keep things in perspective. Crap happens, relax and let it sort itself out. Paizo will take care of you.

As for the issue of magazines not arriving -- in the last year my issues' arrival times have been sporadic, and a few have not arrived at all. Having watched the message board, it's not just me, although I suspect it's a Canadian border/Canada Post thing.
However, if you are having troubles with your issues, call Paizo! They've been absolutely amazing about remailing copies to me that I haven't received.
But I am hoping 140 will show up in the next few days ... :)

Yeah, I figured if he was lying he would say something like:
"Sorry, a tarrasque chewed up a truck full of magazines the other day, and I'm kinda busy finding a group of adventurers who can kill it."
Well, yeah. I mean, there's only *one* tarrasque.
Now, nobody said how many *dire* tarrasques there were...

I got mine today, I have not read all of the second adventure of the AP but of what I have read I am so hyped to get this game started. The amount of details that are given to you So you can add them to give scary creep filling. The pools of blood, the dead animals
The mad laughter….This should keep my players jumping all night.
Also the Hellfire mountain adventure looks like it will be soon going into the classics (though I have not gotten to read it) and may make a great marathon session.

Me too... 14 days in the mail system!
The Issue is Excellent!
Although I wish James would have spread out his modules so we've could have seen a little more of the covers! I love stuff like that! James anyway for us to see your module covers?
There's a reason "Shadowsea" ended up on top... it's the least silly of the artwork. Anyway, I do have scanned images of all six adventures at work, so I'll see if I can figure a way out to get those images online at least...

I got 140 today, and wow what an issue. The Bullywug's Gambit is of the same high quality as There is No Honor. I have to admit I am totally geeking out about how awesome this AP is turning out. I can't wait to see my players faces when they run into Brissa Santos (In my campaign she has really been played up as an artist and Vanthus's accomplice, so the group really wants to find her) as a Savage creature.
