Quote:Every Paizo PDF release before 2015 is on sale for 25% off through the end of September, meaning you can stock up on new adventures like "In Hell's Bright Shadow"If I'm reading the sale right, you can't stock up on new adventures, only on ones that released before 2015. Correct?
I derped hard. Lemme fix that. >.>

Liz,
Are the older hardbacks (Bestiaries, Ultimate _____ books, etc) suppose to receive the discount as well?
Edit: Add the Player Character Folio to that list. "All" is pretty inclusive and looks like a little troublesome. :-)
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game line is not discounted since they're already at a significant discount (compared to our other lines).

You probably should make that clear in the original blog post, because it currently says,
The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game line is not discounted since they're already at a significant discount (compared to our other lines).
Every Paizo PDF release before 2015 is on sale for 25% off

Yeah, I'm very confused by this. Both the email and the blog post clearly state that EVERY Paizo PDF release before 2015 is on sale for 25% off.
In addition, if you click the link in the "Check out all everything on sale starting right here" line in the above blog post it takes you to a page where none of the items shown appear to have a 25% discount applied.
Can someone from Paizo please give some clarity on what is and isn't on sale as at the moment it is as clear as mud.

The problem is that it _is_ clear what Paizo is advertising as on sale, but they're not doing it. I'm not confused, I'm angry. It sounds like someone made a mistake, but no one is even admitting this. I came to the website in response to an email that stated things I wanted to buy were on sale for 25% off, but when I look at those actual items, they are not listed as on sale. Technically, this is false advertising. Part of the reason I play Pathfinder and buy things from Paizo is that they appeared to be a better and more honest company than this.

No, the discount is not applied in the cart to the rulebook hardcovers. I understand that they are already cheap in comparison to the books, but if they were excluded, the announcement of the sale should not have said 'Every Paizo PDF release before 2015 is on sale for 25% off' because many of the rulebooks are Paizo PDF releases from before 2015.

Post in the Customer Service board. But first check to see if thirty other people haven't already done so. Don't complain, just report the problem.

This is not what the ad states. It states that every Paizo PDF is on sale. And there are no disclaimers.

So, I´m guessing there will be no 25% off all pre 2015 PDFs? I was waiting a couple of days for the text to be edited, so my hopes get killed, but I it still says "every" :S

When I initially set up the sale, it missed a few PDFs that were supposed to be on the list, and that should be corrected now. PDFs from the Pathfinder RPG line traditionally have not been discounted in past sales, and that is the case here.
If there is something that you feel should be discounted (and isn't) and isn't on the excluded list mentioned, please let me know.
I will be updating the blog shortly.

And I'd be sorely tempted to do so on your comment.
Just have a look on the normal pdf rulebook prices and compare them to prices of other product lines. They are already heavily subsidised. Why not just demand as well to give these pdfs away for free? *shaking head*

The problem is the false advertising. Paizo advertised 'all Paizo pdfs from before 2015 on sale' when some weren't on sale. And then when they realized their error, rather than honoring the commitment they made to their customers in the ad (which I at least received by email), they just changed the version of the ad on their website. I thought Paizo was a company of better character than this. It doesn't matter if the usual price is very low, this is about whether Paizo is a company to stand by their word or not.
