Gather your crew for some card-flinging fun!

Even seasoned spacefarers need a break sometimes, and those in the Starfinder galaxy often turn to the Starfinder Infinity Deck for some light and fun entertainment.

The original rules for this ubiquitous deck of 65 cards, found in virtually every cantina and corner store in the Pact Worlds, were lost to the Gap, an infamous period of missing memory. Since then, countless alien species, cultures, and worlds have invented their own rules using this versatile deck of 65 suited playing cards.

The Starfinder Infinity Deck comes with rules for four games: a high-stakes gambling game, a card-collecting competition in which you'll salvage an abandoned starship, a tense two-player game that pits smuggler versus security, and a planet-hopping race to complete jobs-for-hire. Pick the perfect pairing for your players and pass the time in the world of Starfinder at your table at home.

Games support a variety of player counts ranging from 1–5 players and take 10–30 minutes.

The Starfinder Infinity Deck includes:

  • A deck of 65 high-quality cards with holographic foil, made up of 10 numbered cards in each of 5 suits and 15 special face cards, including stars, moons, planets, starship captains, and a black hole
  • A rulebook with 4 different games playable with the deck

More than just a deck of cards!

5/5

Having played all of the games in the Infinity Deck several times now, I can firmly say that I really love this. The deck itself is really well made - the cards have a great feel to them, and the art is top-notch.

For those who think this is just a Starfinder rebrand of a standard deck of playing cards - you're wrong. There are 5 suits of cards with a progressive number of face cards (1 black hole for one suit, 5 ship captains for another suit, with the other suits having 2, 3, and 4 face cards respectively), throwing what you think you know about basic card games out the window.

That said, the trick-taking and bluffing games were really easy to pick up with prior card-game knowledge, and the other ones didn't have a huge barrier to entry either. My board game friends and I love Salvage the most out of everything, and the two-played bluffing/smuggling game Contraband is another one I really enjoy.

Like the previous reviewer, I give this 5 out of 5 ship captains!

Very Happy with this Deck of Cards!

5/5

The box is really nice, it's a two-part hard cardboard box with a plastic tray inside with two pockets to hold the cards, underneath the cards is space in the tray big enough to hold up to 3 sets of dice or 35 thin poker chips. The box is also big enough to hold the 4.75"x6.75" rule book. If you take the insert out, there is room to hold sleeved cards, and a lot more dice or poker chips, or room for pens and condition cards.

The cards are thick high high-quality foiled cards. Very happy with the cards!

It's not just a 5-suited deck of space-themed cards; there is an imbalance of face cards. Each suit has cards 1 to 10, but the first suit only has one face card; each of the next suits has one face card more than the last, ending with 5 face cards. I think this will lead to some interesting variations of card games.

The book has 4 games, I haven't had time to try them, but they look fun, and fit in the Starfinder setting.

I give this product 5 out of 5 Starship Captains!

It is a bit unclear how those 15 Face Cards are split up between 5 options. I figure a Fibbonacci Sequence starting at 1 Black Hole and I think they mentioned 4 Captains in the Paizo Live Stream?

And are the face cards related to the suits of the numbered cards at all?

Fifteen is a triangle number, so I would assume one deck each for one, two, three, four, and five face cards.

Should we pr-order it or is it a bug that you will be fixing (I'd though it'd be part of starfinder accessories)

It's exactly that.

I just wrote a long review for it, but I'll just say here I'm very happy with this deck of cards!

They are briefly mentioned as a possible side activity in Murder in Metal City. However, they are not core to the adventure the way that the Harrow deck is to past Pathfinder APs.
