A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 5th- through 8th-level characters.
The PCs are tasked with escorting a valuable item slated to be gifted to a powerful potential ally of the Pathfinder Society, but as they are being briefed on their mission, an unknown thief is pulling off a heist within Heidmarch manor, and the item the PCs were to escort has been stolen just as Venture-Captain Shiela Heidmarch goes to show them the item. The PCs much pick up the thief's trail in a race across Magnimar to recover the treasure they haven't even had the opportunity to see, much less guard.

While the investigation threw us all for a loop at first, eventually we were able to untangle it and it turned out to be quite enjoyable even for our mostly non-charismatic party. The encounters were well balanced and had a few surprises.
I got the chance to play in this and had a great time investigating with plenty of opportunities for RP. This was a solidly written adventure although I'm always worried when we work with Shiela Heidmarch. The tasks were fairly straightforward and didn't require much direction from the GM to keep the flow going.
This scenario is all about fun. It begins with a Goldilocks level investigation -- not too easy, not too hard. Uncovering the causes behind the effects will have you saying "Hmm ..." As well as having a simplified mechanic (thank-you!) the Chase scene shows off the author's knowledge of Magnimar, presenting an insight into city life without weighing one down with unnecessary detail. Sheila is portrayed in a favorable light, and a fave NPC from 1e Season 4 returns. There's nothing not to like ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
What a blast! Perfect mix of everything. Great final combat. Great social encounters. Not to spoiler anything but this is a blast top to bottom. Best of Season 5 so far!
Fun mid-high-level adventure. We ran two tables at our local gamestore (low-tier and high-tier). Everyone had a great time. Appreciated the freeform investigation to begin the adventure. And the various skill challenges in the fun chase sequence gave everyone a chance to shine. Great story, with well-rounded NPCs. Good fun!
Thanks to my amazing developer, Josh Foster, this mystery adventure turned out so well. I GMed three author tables of it at SkalCon last weekend, and it was so much fun watching my players try to figure out what was going on.
Speaking of useful handouts, I wondered if there was a map of Magnimar available online for a scene in the adventure, and I found this map here. It dates back to the 2nd Pathfinder adventure ever, so it might be a little out of date, though.
