Are there any rooms we have not searched on this level? What was in room E9 and the room just north of the great portal?

Celestra Zomesco |

"So, boys. Shall we try and open that secret door out of the sarcophagi room and see where that takes us? You guys look strong enough to open it!"

Heavy Harry |

"Lets get that cracked open a notch and see whats behind it..."
Harry gives it a cursory inspection as he starts moving it, looking for traps...

I am still kicking back enjoying my Thassollian dictionary - this book is good enough that I bet I will be able to read, write and speak Thassollian by the time you guys get back to the Rusty Dragon.
After studying for a few hours, I head up to my room and change into the worn down look I used the prior day when I was interacting with the riffraff. Then I head out to see if anything is going on in town. I will keep an eye out for the sheriff as well as anyone from the Feedbag.
In case I need them:

Seeing the large half-orc move to the point position, Perdition whispers some words of empowerment cloaking his hulking form in a dense magical aura. "That should keep that face from getting knocked in,Harry. Can't have the ladies looking at you like your buddy over there." he says gesturing to the other half-orc.

Slipping the cricket bat shaped club out its pocket on the side of his pack, Wildfire says,"You ever seen a more beautiful piece of work than ol' Peanut Butter, here." as he admires the flamed-maple finish of the well made bat. "Right useful bit of wood." he says with nod.

The door gives way as Harry and Kanyk begin to push. Dust particles dance in the light you have brought with you even though the air is rather moist inside here.
You follow the stairs into a room which has nearly collapsed into a large pool. The sound of sloshing water fills the room and the few walls which remained intact show detailed and impressive carvings or incredible treasuries filled to overflowing with coins, gems, jewelry, and other items of value. To the east the wall depicts a carving of a towering mountain, its peak carved in the shape of a stern face just above a great palace. Below, the side side of the mountain's valley cradles an immense city of spires. In the pool, the remains of what must must have once been an incredible treasurey lie in the sloshing waters. Shattered urns, crumbled stone chests, rusted bits of once beautiful weapons and armour, and other long ruined treasures from an ancient past lie below. Most impressive of them all is a large coral-encrusted helmet sized for a giant; the helm measures nearly five feet across, and its full-face guard bears an expression of twisted rage and fangs. The helm itself appears to be entirely made of gold.
@ Ailetha:
On your walk through the town you meet the sheriff, speaking to an elderly man in front of the newly errected cathedral building.

Celestra Zomesco |

"Judging by the dust around here I wonder if she even knew about this place.
Celestra casts detect magic and concentrates to see if anything radiates magic.
"Let the magic be revealed!"

Celestra Zomesco |

Celestra will first cast Find Traps and look around for any threats. She will not step in any pool yet.
"Let the danger be revealed!"

Heavy Harry |

"I like the sound of that, lets get a little water on us eh? Why don't I move ahead and you creep close in... if something happens you'll still be able to move without being stuck on me and nor I stuck with you... I fear traps left to guard treasure, maybe magic ones..."
Harry edges forward, looking closely for traps and treachery.

Walking up to the sheriff.
Afternoon sheriff. Any news today? Just finished a very pleasant conversation with your friend Mr. Quink. He is quite knowledgable about the history of this area, particularly the history from the long past.
Turning to the other gentleman:
Good afternoon, I am Ailetha, pleased to meet you.

Heavy Harry |

@ Treasure hunters:
As you begin to wade into the pool, suddenly the gigantic helmet turns with a screeching sound and faces you!
"TRAP!"
Harry looks for the 'horrible peri'l or 'spiky doom' heading his way whilst readying his axe...

Perdition Banderflash |

"Sounds like a plan,Harry. Let me light up the area a bit for us first though." Drawing his innate magical skill, Perdition brings four floating balls of light into being. Moving them out ahead of himself and Harry, he smiles and says, "That should make things a bit easier."

Shaking his hand - Father Zantus. I am honored to meet one of the Great Dreamers servants. While I am not a regular follower of any deity, many times during my travels over the past few months, I have given my thanks to Desna for surviving another days travel.
Looking up at the cathedral.
This is a magnificent temple for such a modest town. I am sure that it will draw many believers here and help Sandpoint grow to prominence.

Raising an eyebrow at the unexpected movement of the helmet, he shrugs and says to Harry, "Maybe it can talk, too?" Then calling to it in the tongue of giants he ask,"Hello. You have a name? Witing for its response he translates to Harry what he has just said.

Celestra Zomesco |

Celestra quickly touches Harry on the shoulder and enchants him with a divine Touch of Good
Touch of Good grants Harry a +2 bonus on his next "to hit" or skill check next round.
"Let Cayden's Light guide you, Mr. Handsome!"

DM Zyren/ Heart of Runes |

@ Ailetha:
Father Zantus smiles and looks back at the large rose-coloured building
Well, Sandpoint is the most prosperous town at the Gult, it was due time to errect a monument of our gratiousness. You said, you are a traveller? So where do you come from and what brings you to Sandpoint?
@ Helm-Fighters:
The helm does not respond to the giant tongue, but moves now sideways...and then back...and sideways again...Harry is now pretty close to it...

I am originally from Brastlewark in far eastern Cheliax. However, had to leave when my views did not coincide with the ruling devils.
Since then I have been slowly traveling north and west, most recently crossing Varisia from Kovosa to here by land. Wandering, learning and entertaining my way across the land.

Celestra Zomesco |

"Maybe it's intelligent and can understand what we are saying." Celestra utters a few words in Common, trying to command it to go away. Meanwhile, she is carefully drawing her rapier.
"You are free of your bond. You need not guard here any longer. Begone Great Helm!"

Celestra Zomesco |

"I can still detect magic. I will try and find it, Mr. Handsome!" While Harry has the helmet occupied, Celestra steps into the shallow pool to try and find the object radiating magic. She will cast detect magic and concentrate again if necessary.

"Nice secluded nook and a fancy looking 'shell'? I reckon that is either one of them octopus that like to hide in shells or a bloody massive hermit crab. Maybe give it a little tap on the top and it could just try and run. Octopus and crabs aren't known for their bravery."
Kanyk reaches forward and taps the top of the helmet with his hammer, not hard but hard enough to make a clanging sound.

Heavy Harry |

"Well lets just get the loot and get out of here before it gets curious and we need to make a bisque. Miss Zomesco, you do the grabbing, we will make sure it doesn't interrupt..."
Harry maintains his presence, ready to go swinging with his axe.

Kanyk |

"Not going for the helmet then? I guess a five foot wide gold helmet would be a little difficult to man handle out of here, but still, that is a lot of gold we're leaving behind."
Kanyk stands watch with Harry, ready to give the hermit crab a more substantial tap if it starts to get a bit too curious.

Heavy Harry |

"I didn't come here to muck about at the whims and mercy of what could rightly end up as tonights dinner" Harry moves forward, intent on moving the crab. Possibly permanently.
