Took a look at them in my FLGS yesterday and i have to say that contrary to every other Iconic Heroes set, these look shabby and are absolutely not worth it, sadly.
The sculpts proportions are not good mostly, but what really kills these minis are the bad paint jobs, especially the faces, which make the minis look goofy.
Stay away from this Iconic Heroes set and buy any of the other eight instead, they are allof a much better quality!

I hate to say it, but the 2e iconic heroes look INCREDIBLY bad.
Not at all close to the previous PF iconic characters, and certainly not even close to the quality of the Legendary Adventures preview set of miniatures.

There are pictures of this set that you can see elsewhere (e.g. at the juggernaut online retailer that sells everything) and those pics look significantly more attractive.

Those are renders.
I can find no pictures of the actual minis on amazon, nor anywhere else but here.
Personally i think the pictures here look terrible, but that doesn't mean that the actual minis will look that bad too.
It is hard to make good pictures of minis and it may be that the paintjob of the actual minis is better than the one of these early prototypes?
I hope these are not the final product... they look absolutely terrible! I guess I'll wait for Youtube review videos before deciding whether to buy them or not.
This is actually on par with WizKids' quality lately if you look at their Heroclix line. Granted they look slightly better in hand because of how small they are, but they will be nowhere near the quality of the first few Pathfinder Battles sets. WizKids seems to go through cycles, where one year they will have the money to pay for excellent quality sculpts and paint jobs, then as the money dwindles away they are forced to cut costs, and the miniatures start looking like they were painted by a team of middle school children.

@Dulcee:
Your cycle theory doesn't hold, the "Legendary Adventures Preview pack looks absolutely gorgeous!
I think the actual minis look pretty decent. I bought the set a while back and they've had almost all positive feedback from players. It also helps to hand a new player a mini of the pregen character they are playing, as it helps with the immersion. I love them, honestly, and am planning on picking up a second box at Gencon.
