Interesting. If you only knes what I knew. :)
Are you wanting to do more of a grapple or more of an attack? Everyone go ahead hadnt earlier. Also, I dont think Danyn was going anywhere, but everyone else may or may not be gone. Since I have not heen able to post for some, let me put out their info before we get too far into it., which also in ita own way pertained to you. This would be so much easier to explain in a TT game. ha ha

For wome reason the spoiler is not working. If you can see it, could you copy/paste it. I cant from my phone and Im still at the hospital.

![]() |

Now I feel crazy. I could swear I read that somewhere. Maybe it was in the Lost Spoiler from before, and Wayfinder was somehow able to read it...?
I'm sure I read that somewhere!
Beckett, back me up.
EDIT: Ninja'd (by 20 seconds, no less). Unfortunately I can't pull it up on Wayfinder because I don't have page navigation set up yet.

![]() |

Thats essentually correct. Im going to put this on hold for the moment because Im still at the hospital and with the recent developement I want to put some more detail into it. I think this could be pretty cool. Not the finale I was expecting, but I like it.

@grundle - Kort had included freeing the slaves as one of they conditions of his surrender. He didn't balk at that (apparently), only at releasing the rug. @Beckett had indicated that zamir was by way of walking away from the facility (at least conceptually). I don't know that we need to rough him up to free the mages. Maybe for fun and gratification, but not necessarily to get the slaves free. My impressions here are a bit fast and loose, and any corrections would be appreciated.

"Well, speaking of other matters, I was asked to see if you might have a certain Pharaoh’s Crook in your possession, and perhaps convince you to return it."
After considering it for a moment, the druid commands his tiger to kneel and relax, then escorts you to the western room, which once revealed appear to his personal quarters. Walking out with a small box, "I believe this is what you are looking for. Some rubbish about the staff of Leadership. Turns out that it's base components where rather lacking, so I forgot about it and lost interest. Here, take it back to your masters." Inside the box you see various parts, a few vials filled with dust and various piece that appear to be portions of a Mace or Morningstar of clearly Osirion design. In their current condition, absolutely useless, which explains just how Zamir was able to raid and easily smuggle his loot. "I however, will not be reconstructing it. I have neither the time nor the interest with that particular relic. I'm afraid you will need to find another. Now, if you will excuse me, I intend to keep my word, and will be making my way to the Society of Pathfinders." Zamir nods his head, calls his loyal cat to him, and returns to his room to begin to pack, as Grudle slips in right behind him, his own faction mission to "talk about". Also keep in mind you have another mission still waiting. If you go there now, you will pass Kort and Kanye heading back down.
Waiting for the others to finish their business with Zamir, Grundle waits until he retreats into his living quarters to begin to pack for his journey, the slips in behind him. . .

![]() |

Kort, oh Grundle's not going rough him up. His personal mission is against ALL slavers he encounters. He's got some bad memories.

![]() |

Which is fine. I also don't want to rob others of the chance to maybe try to stop you if they want to. It's not fair. At the very least, Danyn is close. The others, I'm not sure how close they are just yet. Also keep in mind that it might not work out as well as you had hoped with the tiger out there, too.

![]() |

Aro:

![]() |

Yes, yes it could be. . .
@ Hagrym, its a little weird, but your faction missions are not actually complete yet. If one of you however does complete the mission, you all get credit for it.

![]() |

Kort, speaking to Kanye, "I guess we're both returning this to the the same party. Let me give you a hand with that."
Captain Planet!
Because no one else appears to be observing, Kort will somewhat reluctantly abort his illusionary show.
(but now the player is waiting for Fireworks)

![]() |

While the others occupy themselves, Hagrym will head back to the first statue the group discovered, and see if its head might plop off at the command word.

![]() |

Arovandeon warns Hagrym to be cautious. His note mentioned that sometimes there can be problems with ancient magical creations like the statue.
Meanwhile, Arovandeon examines the Crook, wondering what it would take to reassemble.
Beckett, does the Crook actually need to be reassembled? The mission said only to recover it. If it does need to be reassembled, what kind of skill would be required? Arovandeon has disable device, a bunch of knowledge skills, spellcraft, and craft alchemy. If any apply, use the d20 below.
1d20 ⇒ 6 If a roll is actually required, this one sucks, so I'll use my portfolio reroll if needed.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7 How lame...

![]() |

Hagrym would be happy to help reassemble the crook, if he had the necessary skills. He'd want to see it, even if he was agreeing for Aro to take it back.

![]() |

Hagyym, you hear a grinding sound and then a odd click, but nothing happens. Damn!!! (I need to double check what the skills allowed are for this. Roguish in nature.
Arovandeon. none. Its one of thoae unique abilities for the sake of story that only Zamir aparently knows in the universe. If only someone with some magic knowlwdge had seen it done. . .
(Im away from books at the moment, sorry).

![]() |

Arovandeon will check with the wizard slaves to see if they worked on the Crook or witnessed its deconstruction.
If Hagrym needs assistance with the head, Arovandeon has disable device at +7.

![]() |

It is actually a Disable Device check

![]() |

Seaweed sticks with the Grand Lodge partner Hagrym, attempting to recover Banafrit's sculptured likeness. If I can help on the crook, please let me know.
aid other?: 1d20 ⇒ 7[ooc]Though, it's unlikely I have the appropriate skill.[/00c]

![]() |

Since the others seemingly need help with the head, Arovandeon will see if he can get it free.
Can I take 20? If not, use the roll below.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19

![]() |

With a little work, you retrieve the head, whose alchemcal and mechanical pieces with had rusted and locked. Trying to remove it otherwise would yave ruined it.
That leaves Grundle and his chains, Cheliax looking for someone, Andoran with a few guests, Grand Lodge/ Oairion needing to put their item back together, I believe. All of which have already cometed one othwr Faction mission so get 2 PP. Its up to you if you want the second, but still need to know whats going on with Grundle and Zamir.

![]() |

Welll...Grundle's not one to care much about his faction missions :) I need to know if I was successful on starting to grapple him. And if anyone else sees it and intervenes.

![]() |

Yes, you did Grapple him, which will start Init. It is safe to assume that Danyn, Arovandeon*, Evigail, Hagrym*, and the Tiger all have a reasonable chance to know what's going on. Kanye and Kort will also be returning fairly shortly, so any of them can reasonably intervene. (* indicated that they where leaving the room to go upstairs). I'm trying to play this fairly. It wouldn't be PvP to try to aid Zamir and counter-Grapple Grundle if you want. Or attack for Non-Lethal. Then again, for all you know, Zamir is murdering Grundle behind that curtain. . . So it's up to you. I would say, that Grundle has 2 more rounds before Kanye and Kort return, and Danyn and Emporor Palp-Igail are both right there in the next room. So it is completely up to you all how this goes down. Also, there is a very good chance that Zamir (even without his animal companion), might kill Grundle.
Modified Map.

![]() |

And added a bit of commentary. :)
*nice*

![]() |

I missed that Evigail followed Hagrym.
Grundle: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Zamir: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Grundle tackles Zamir from behind as the druid begin to gather his stuff.
Round 1, Grundle is up.

![]() |

Is anyone interested in stopping him?

![]() |

Ok, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't performing an exercise in futility.

![]() |

Hagrym is in a different room.
As is Seaweed, but aye once I get the chance.

![]() |

Ok to speed things up:
Kayne
Kort
Danyn
Zamir & Tiger
Grundle's first round action is to try another Grapple attempt, hoping to establish a hold and pin.
Grapple: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 <does pin>
Kort and Kayne get back to the room with the statue, and basically need to try to Run/double move through it next turn.
Danyn's up

![]() |

Danyn moves into the other room in time to see Grundle choking the life out of Zamir. He does what he can to gain control of the situation.
trip: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
30ft move should get me diagonal of Grundle
