A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 5th level characters (Tiers: 1-2 and 4-5).
When the Decemvirate sends the PCs to the Viking city of Trollheim in the frigid northern Lands of the Linnorm Kings to deliver a package to an allied scholar there, the Pathfinders soon find themselves unwelcome visitors. Forced to navigate the rugged, isolated city and interact with the standoffish natives, can they deliver their cargo to its target, or will they find themselves exiled from the city... or worse?
This scenario is designed for play in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, but can easily be adapted for use with any world. This scenario is compliant with the Open Game License (OGL) and is suitable for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

I agree with the other reviewers, stop embarrassing Barbarian NPCs and give them 2H weapons. If PCs are able to do 15+ points of damage each round, NPCs should be able to as well. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.
Unfortunately I didn't play enough to have a solid opinion of this scenario, I did however enjoy the end fight and it was quite challenging (3 players out of 6 dropped and I was pretty sure we were going to die) at subtier 4-5.
I played this mod at tier 4-5. The fights were not unusually tough, except perhaps the last one. I have to say I was fairly impressed with the story. the faction missions seemed to be interesting as well. Also it meshed very well with the next mod in the series and actually felt like there was a reason to play the next mod in the series with the same character.
Why i did not givee it 5 stars.
nitpicks:
1 It is really hard to take seriously a villain that is a raging barbarian with a handaxe and a dagger.
2 The local thugs all speak common? It really is ok to give people a reason for exotic languages or comprehend language spells.
Had a blast with this one. The combats were reasonably challenging without going tooo far. At first the scenario was a bit plodding but it quickly turned (this was likely due to our lack of ability to gather info rather than the scenario itself) Lots of room for roleplaying and a few nice twists.
I played this as a 6 player tier 3-4. The faction missions were nicely woven into the story, with some being more interesting then others.
Either the investigative mechanic had some hole or we were missing some thought to be obvious links. We managed to plod along figure out the instigator's plays. The final act was really cool and the PC could really take advantage of certain factors to get a 1 up on the BBEGs.
Our GM did a great job providing a background for the scenario and sticking to it.
I'm looking forward to running it and playing in the rest of the series.
- One of the flip maps contained within (ruins) has inconsistent grid sizes, so if you are playing on a VTT you won't be able to get the grid to space evenly.
- No map for the city of Trollheim (either in this scenario or in the Paizo collection as a whole, AFAIK).
