Thanks guys, the way it read on PRD was I had to worship a deity with strife, piracy and sea monsters, so I figured since Besmara was the only one with all three it had to be her. That's what I get for trusting PRD, that would have cleared that up off the bat lol. I do like the idea that she has offered me a way out, and now I'm following her though. Thanks for the input everyone, this forum is awesome!

Ya my apology for the details, I have never experienced a time in PFS when I ever delved deep into a personal backstory, as opposed to an adventure path. It's usually a high nice to meet you these are my abilities let's start the quest kind of thing. The only reason I felt it necessary was to provide insight in to why I was wanting a different deity than Besmara. As to why an aboleth it was because it was a tentacle-like powerful being that has an ability to communicate and that I believe were one of the creatures I read that take on the name of Dagon to intercept his worshippers and use them for themselves. I was kind of wanting it to be that I was mislead in to thinking a deity rescued me, and am fearful anytime I'm on the open sea that what ever creature is giving me his power, will one day decide to take me back to the sea. It's like the driving force behind my characters motivation to seek the pathfinder society for knowledge and power. In all honesty it could very well be changed to just be Dagon it wouldn't really change anything. Thanks for answering and again my apologies for the darkness of my backstory.

I have a build question, more so a question regarding what deity a Kraken Caller Druid can worship. I had the idea that my character was a member of a barbarian tribe in the Mwangi jungle, whose island got invaded by pirates, his tribe was either slain or forced into slavery. My character refused to be their slave and instead was taken out to sea and drowned. He was revived by an aboleth that used the name of Dagon. I became a servant of Dagon, was given some of his powers and a shot at revenge on the crew that massacred my tribe, but in exchange I would serve him for the rest of time. In my search for revenge I join the society in hopes of finding a way out of the deal I struck with this deity. So with all that said, is there anyway a Kraken Caller Druid can be a worshipper of Dagon, or is it only Besmara?

So hears the thing guys no guidelines were given, Mun posted interest before Pig and before Noral. So he was about to get leapfrogged twice. In my opinion that's not fair. So with all that considered this should have been decided by one of the GMs. If this is the case I will happily give my seat to Mun so he can play. I know GM's do favors like that sometimes but I don't think conventions is the right place to do it when it's listed as open recruitment.

Fair enough then I'll step up and say the most fair way to decide who gets to play is first post, Mun posted first, thank you everyone who posted interest in our game at the high table hopefully we finally have everything sorted out. Noral if something changes, which at this point seems possible I guess someone will reach you.

I think I will bow out of this weekend one. I got in the game with the character I wanted to play this one with.

Hmm...I feel like Vrothum’s display to the Senator and Grand Ambassador would have garnered a more profound reaction, though I wasn’t super clear to whom I was addressing, but I also didn’t see him listed in the headers with Bedisa and Yaiho, so maybe my aid wasn’t really needed or maybe it was missed lol idk also I don’t think Mathos is coming back considering he hasn’t posted since we bought supplies so you can probably rule him out of the equation.

I'm having problems getting slides to work, if I can't get it working tomorrow, I'll give up my spot so you guys can get started. It's working on my other game so I dunno why it's not now.

I think my Druid is more versatile for the group but I can wait a bit to see the rest of the party make up, some times a bunch of brutes is just what the doctor ordered lol

I have an Elven Aquatic Druid Level 2.1 and a Dwarven Monk level 3.2 available and I would be interested in all 3 parts with either character.

I think it depends on if Telaurion plays or not, I have a character from lvl 1- lvl 4 available. Kinda waiting to see what tier we fall in before I select a character.

I would very much be interested in playing, if you’ll have me, I have several characters available for this tier depending on what’s needed.

A few questions GM, I’m slightly confused, Is this 5 mini quests that equal 1 scenario so 1xp, a module so 3 xp or 5 different scenarios? I’m just kinda lost in the sauce on this one, with us receiving gold between missions, and getting 1xp right off the bat, I didn’t know if that was for flavor or what have you.

DM I’m sorry, but I have to change characters, I didn’t know I already got in a game with oops. So I have a level 3 lvl monk lvl 4 Sorcerer, or if I’m playing in this group regardless, I can just bring a healer.

My friend and I are both interested, he has a level 3 he'd like to play if possible it's a dual cursed life oracle Support w/ blasting capabilities. I have a level 2 life Shaman Support/ debuffer. I took the liberty to go ahead and add every one else's stats, and pictures on to the slides, I don't know everyone's access to computers laptops, etc, but i know mine is limited feel free to move yourself on the map if you don't like where you were placed.

Like wise, i'm sorry guys, ive been working swing shift last couple weeks and my sleep has just been so screwed up, i'm back on a set shift now so i should be fine until we finish.

The DC for hearing a noise while asleep is +10 so you have to determine what the dc of said noise is. Contributing factors is distance. I am 10 feet away from you so that’s another +1 to the DC. But regardless the DM said the dc was 12 so you wouldn’t subtract 10 to your Perception because your not getting a negative the DC is being increased. You see what I’m saying? Just read the Perception skill in core rule book. The DM is determining the DC and factoring in the variables. For example acrobatics check to jump a crevice10ft wide. Let’s say dc 5. Now the GM states the surface is slippery. DC is increased by 10. That makes the DC 15 the players don’t take a -10 the DM increases the DC.

I have interest, what tier do you have in mind?

I personally am very interested in doing a module, however I’ve not done one via PBP, I imagine you’d run into similar issues, only thing I can think to do in those situations is make GM decisions to push the players into posting. DM Snider May be able to give more insight I can try and text him later to respond, but he’s currently deployed so I dunno how quick he’ll answer.

I just wonder what happens if we don’t clear the whole area, granted they are giving us the option. At this time, I dunno how well we as a group will fare next tier up. I’ll leave it up to the majority.

Attn: GM my laptop has officially kicked the bucket, I was able to obtain a I pad mini off a relative, so I was going to use that for my Pathfinder PBP stuff, can anyone inform me of what apps work with these google docs and spread sheets and such or am I just screwed? I’m afraid if there is no compatible option I’ll have to withdraw from this and a couple other games.

I'm here still, I can post daily sometimes more. I know this DM personally, he's deployed in Korea, and for the next couple weeks is in the field. I'll try to message him tonight if I can.

I would like to apologize to the group, for bogging down the gameplay thread, as the conversation b/t Morthak and myself should have been in discussion thread in the first place. [ooc] From here on out I will only be posting related to gameplay. I will let rules questioning be handled by The GM, Terevalis, and Tirf aka DM Snider. I know Terevalis is new so I was just trying to help him out, so he can just focus on the scenario. I know that if too many people start getting involved with rules and how to play and such, people may think that it's personal. Sorry Morthak if you thought I was attacking you, I was just being blunt. Anyway, it's been a great game so far, you're doing a great job GM let's keep it up!

That is false sir, and it's not rewriting, it's interpreting the rules and DC's and applying it to his game which is exactly his job, however we are splitting hairs at this point, so we can agree to disagree and move on with the GM's game.
