Hello all, this is a game being run for the online PbP convention Outpost IV, #5-03; The Hellknight's Feast.
It is recruited via spreadsheet, so head over here FIRST, sign up on the line for this game (it was line 35 as of the time of this post) and then come on back to dot into gameplay.
One further note, the earliest you can sign up is January 26th if you are GM'ing something for the convention or January 29th if you are a general player.
Now that we've completed the mandatory announcement portion, welcome! When we get closer to the starting date, a link to the slides/maps will appear at the top of this campaign thread and in my header link.
Speaking of headers, I do like them. I find it quite handy to see the basic key items at a glance within the gameplay. It saves time from having to go to people's profiles. There are numerous different styles out there. I'm not picky on what setup you use, as long as it has your HP, AC, CMD, etc. I'll be happy. If you have any questions on how to set one up, don't hesitate to ask.
I use google slides for game maps and handouts. I will also have you input your perception, initiative, and preferred marching order in them prior to starting.
In the mean time...one of my favorite hobbies (aside from pathfinder) is rock climbing. What do you do for fun?
One of my hobbies is bowling, I used to bowl in high school, continued doing it in league’s competitively for awhile and am starting to get back in to it again after a 6 year hiatus. I have never bowled a Perfect game(300) but I have bowled 299 twice now lol. I have never rock climbed, it looks very fun though, and I would like to try it sometime.
I love rock climbing. I've mostly done indoor but since having kids I don't really get to go. I'm planning to return to it when they are big enough to join me. My wife is hopeful I can do that too as I had abs back when we first met from all the climbing I did. :D
I do enjoy a good bit of bowling. Honestly, get me in any competitive sport or hobby and I'll have a good time. But for fun right now? This and playing with my kids is it.

Hey all. Big skier here. Live about an hour away from the mountain. Gonna try to go up this weekend, but probably wont be able to make it up till Monday. Hear we're getting dumped on so hopefully it's great snow!
Trying to hike more often. Might do some backpacking this summer. Haven't really rock climbed, but always interested in it. A friend of mine wants to join a rock climbing gym after COVID so may do that with him.

Hamish will run in the middle of the pack (3 or 4) unless no one else wants to be 2nd in line. If we have all bruisers, he can hang back farther too, but he's definitely going to get into melee after his party buffs are up.

Trajan will prefer to be at the front (as most Paladins do) but is willing to rotate the responsibility.

For those who don't mind metagaming I'd remind you that, according to the Con organizer, every module will involve undead. So you might want to make sure your PCs is stocked with both demon-fighting and undead-fighting gear. Silversheen and cold iron weapons, etc.
Holy Water used to be my go-to for incorporeal undead but I'd recommend this instead:

If anyone wants Trajan to cast Bless Weapon on their weapons, a scroll costs 25 GP. Or you can buy an oil of it for 50 GP.

With Mathos having a Wand of CLW I would swap the memorized CLW for Protection from Chaos.

Not knowing much about either class I don't have any specific tips for them. If you plan on going mostly (or all) Shaman at this point, Furious Focus might be an option. Since you took HP as your favored class bonus you could go with Toughness for +5 HP. If you find yourself running low on rage rounds there's Extra Rage.

Natural 1's downgrade the skill success by 1 step ;-)
In 1st edition a natural 1 does not automatically mean a failure. However, it often times requires a higher die roll to succeed at a skill check. Who knows...your bonus may be enough. Though...it may not. We shall see.

Hmm...I feel like Vrothum’s display to the Senator and Grand Ambassador would have garnered a more profound reaction, though I wasn’t super clear to whom I was addressing, but I also didn’t see him listed in the headers with Bedisa and Yaiho, so maybe my aid wasn’t really needed or maybe it was missed lol idk also I don’t think Mathos is coming back considering he hasn’t posted since we bought supplies so you can probably rule him out of the equation.

Re: Mathos, could be the player has a real life problem. Although he was posting under two of his out characters involved in Outpost modules after he stopped posting as Mathos, that's also stopped. The last posts he made for the other 2 characters were on Thursday, Feb 25.
I've reached out to Mathos and I'm in a game with the player.
Recent RL issues seem to be preventing them from getting on. We will continue without. After the dinner part ends, it will be too late for Mathos to get full credit, but could hop in later for partial credit.

Hey folks, I've been pinged that you've been missing your GM. Looking into it a bit I get the sense that RL has been very busy for GM RePete as of late and may be preventing him from posting as much as he'd like. That said, it's been just over a week without any notice so you guys are within your rights to seek a replacement GM if you wish.

I’m not sure how the weapon blanch or scroll would interact with my Character. Would I put it on my amulet of mighty fists, would I cast it or pour it on one natural attack or does it not work.
I am not so sure that you can as it needs to be a material weapon. While the amulet can help give you some of the magical enhancements, your fists, fangs, or whatever natural body part are part of the weapon.
Part of the blanching process is: When poured on a weapon and placed over a hot flame for a full round, they melt and form a temporary coating on the weapon.
