Very excited for this ap, looking forward to seeing more of Casmaron and maybe a mention of Drokalion haha

Ah brilliant, thanks for checking and fixing it so quickly! <3

Excited to see this updated but a little confused by the levels being listed as 1-8, the original path was a 1-10 was it not? Has some of it been removed?

Oh the art in this post is wonderful, love the fusing of mendevian architecture and sarkorian art. This book is shaping up to be so exciting!!

Yes, thank you so much Tomas! I was the original writer of Teki back when she was a Starstone Aspirant in the backmatter of Agents of Edgewatch. I have been rooting for her for years. I was so surprised to see her in the book that I fell out of my chair when reading it. Thank you for caring for my baby, and helping her reach her true potential.

Thank you so much for writing her originally!! She is such a sweet character and I've been campaigning for her ascension in the community for years hahah

Absolutely wonderful to hear from the authors of this incredible book!

The Abadar lore was an unexpected highlight to me, so a hge shoutout to Carlos Cisco for adding some very nteresting backstory and complexity there!

Also as someone who has been desperately rooting for Teki for years, thank you so much Tomas Gimenez Rioja <3

Really nice to hear from Michael Sayre too, all my love to his family at this time and a thank you for all the wonderful work you have done x

This book was a triumph and I'm looking forward to seeing more from these authors!

Hey folks,

Just dropping in to clear up some confusion. While this book was initially set up as being part of the Pathfinder Rulebook subscription, it has now been removed from that line. This book will NOT be part of the Pathfinder Rulebook subscription. If you've already canceled your subscription because of this misunderstanding, you should be able to restart with either War of Immortals or NPC Core on the subscription page here. If you have any troubles with that, please contact our Customer Service department.

Also, to answer some questions about the digital version, we should be following the same protocol we did with the Remastered Beginner Box. That is, both versions of the PDF will be attached to one another in such a way that anybody who has the Guns & Gears download will have access to both versions. Once I've uploaded the updated version of the PDF, I'll be sending out an email notification to inform folks that the new version is available.

Sorry again for the confusion!

This is great to hear, thank you!

I do hope we get some kind of official acknowledgement if he has left, his work has been instrumental to PF2E's success.

Ooh, sneak peak at new(?) stuff coming in divine mysteries.

I spotted two spells (Endure, Anticipate peril) and a new domain, Introspection. Neat!

Those actually do all already exist but will be remastered in divine mysteries!

This is a great players guide, lots of exciting new info and some very fun bits especially on the ancestries and classes. So excited!!

I'm hyperventilating and crying here, if the two mentioned goddesses are Arazni and Iomedae I might pass out from excitment

Oh I love this! The way Samo's animism is described is wonderful and very evocative and Nahoa is so charming haha

It's been said none of the currently announced aps are mythic, but we will get some in future.

EDIT Though I suppose this isn't an AP hmmm

Ahhhh so excited for this, new gadgets! Oath magic! Tan shao han! The magaambya! What more could a girl want

This looks absolutely incredible, what an invaluable tool for gms! Thanks to everyone who worked on this!

Zon shelyn core, oh yes I keep winning

A little bit worried a lot of uniqueness has been stripped out of each curse. I do hope the philosophy of people's characters still being viable is holding on here but this has got me nervous!

I've liked every other remaster change so far but argh i really did like premaster oracle and this has me chewing my fingernails.

Korakai looks wonderful as always though

Very happy to report I got both books over here in Newcastle, UK. I also chatted to some folks and told them about pf2e and saw multiple people in line holding player cores and gm cores!!!

Also I would fistfight Gorum for the squox. I would toppled mountains for the squox.

Shoanti backmatter article yes please!! This path keeps looking better and better

Unbelievably excited for this, is it August yet?!

Thank you to all the wonderful authors and artists for sharing your work on Tian Xia with us, it's been sucha delight to read <3

Very happy to see this is going to be the case!!

Also we likely know which god she is replacing now :D

Arazni is not still undead and hasn't been for 2e! At the end of 1e the radiant fire severed her connection to her soul cage, freeing her from her lichdom and leading to her ascension to a full goddess!

In other cover news, bearing in mind that "product images. . . are subject to change," we now have four iconics for Curtain Call: Seoni, Mios, Fumbus, and Jirelle.

The iconics for Curtain Call are Lem, Mios, Fumbus, and Jirelle. Seoni would have been a good choice, but...

Lem is the bard, so he HAS to be in the opera Adventure Path.
Jirelle and Mios both look like they'd be rad on stage in an opera.
And Fumbus is there to ensure that the whimsy built into this Adventure Path is on point.

I just know Fumbus is going to nail the rare Goblin Aria.

These have been delightful! I absolutely adore Dr Pom and it's wonderful to get some insight on what awakening feels like!!

Also great to hear we can choose the size for awakened animal characters!

Haha love that Ulthun and Wynsal are clearing spurring gossip not just in the fandom but in golarion too. Always excited for KoL content, looking forward to it!

I want to say I saw ... Luis Loza? Imply something about the god dying at the beginning of the war on either Reddit or Twitter. I don't remember if there was a clear link between 'beginning' and 'trigger'... Wait also tickling free a memory of a hint that may have been dropped here (by Jonathan?) on the forum in one of the f the Godsrain threads or the companion thread in the LO Canpaign Setting forum.

Sorry I can't pull up anything more specific, it's just break time here.

Luis compiled every hint he gave into one reddit thread here: Link which says "dying as part of" war of immortals, nothing about it kicking it off.

I also went through Jon's godsrain comments and saw nothing suggesting as much!

It's of course very possible that the god's death *does* kick off the war, but I still have not seen anything to suggest that has been confirmed

Nope! This has been commonly assumed and sometimes stated as fact by fans but we have had no official word on it.
I'm... pretty sure you're incorrect? I'm not saying that we've had any clear official pronouncements, but I could swear that I've seen something official where that at least followed pretty directly from what was said..

If you do find a source let me know! I could well be wrong but no one has provided me with a source yet haha

Something I’m wondering.

PC1 didn’t have Specific Familiars (which was odd, I thought that would’ve been the place to put it so that all familiars rules are in the same place).

And it isn’t mentioned at all in PC2. Which would mean, Specific Familiars are no longer core rules.

Did Paizo just remove Specific Familiars from Pathfinder 2e?

(Which is odd, because I thought Specific Familiars were a beautiful, elegant, and balanced design method.)

Specific familiars were introduced in the APG. Check out its product page and you'll see there is no mention of them there!

This is a big book, if something isnt mention in the small product blurb that doesn't mean it's "removed"!

The wooden creature is the Twins of Rowan, a wood elemental introduced in Rage of Elements!

Not that anyone asked, but here's a list of Ancestry/Heritage related options that have been revealed thus far. Included a brief description and possible real-world inspiration, if only to give any idea of what they are and the diversity of real-world cultures being represented.

** spoiler omitted **

These are some inferences or assumptions I have given some info or things I feel are obvious, given the location.
** spoiler omitted **...

For Goblins, it was mentioned in a stream that they would be getting a heritage based on the Dokkaebi!

And with the news that Oni are no longer fiends I doubt they're gonna be a Nephilim heritage. I am partly wondering if that new vers heitage in core 2 might be a spirit one though that could provide an Oni option...

I'm wondering if the "amphibious athamarus" is the ORC version of the lizardfolk.
Anyway, it's cool to have new ancestries. Hyped to play werewolf too...

It's not, the Athamaru are actually the new Locathah!

But yeah super hyped for this book!!

As an avid witch player, I'm so happy that you'v understood what some of us love about the witch whilst also shoring up their weaker points. Love the doubling down on familiars and very very happy to hear about wilding word being buffed along with immunity being removed.

Thank you so much for all your hard work, looking forward to the remaster!
