We are just finishing up book 2 of GW and looking to continue on into Curtain Call. I've been waffling on who I'd like to use as the Nemesis. GW spoiler:
Dr. Ritalson would be the easiest and one of the two the party is most acquainted with. He's actually dead which helps some of the discussion in books 1 and 3.
The party has also very slowly learned of the Blackfrost Whale. This is an epic enemy, who could easily squash them to pieces, but actually loosing it on the world would be problematic, and it's not dead. Thinking manifestation loose perhaps? The last big enemy they fight is Ainamurren. They were able to remove his corruption...or did they? Having a blackfrost nemesis would be interesting, especially if they also have to worry about contagion (though that could be true of the Whale as well). And if they think their god failed them in protecting, all the better. Anyone else coming from GW and have ideas?

"All four" is probably not the best way to describe it since there are many many more. Interesting that Amiri is focused on when we usually see more Valeros - but the returning home series was excellent and she/that story bind better into the godsrain storyline. Now I just have to remember to order it when it's not subscription and I can't preorder!

GMed this for a group - was a really great time! We used a manor for the middle part which I think was a good deal of fun - would recommend if folk have time to prep some extra. We did have two deaths at the end of the adventure - RIP Cutie and Hellpup. And they didn't succeed at the mission (ran away). But that's how the dice roll!

Laughed while going through Second Contact - I converted a Tashtari just a month ago to use in Gatewalkers. Ah well. Love the added details for the pregens, this is significantly more beginner friendly than the previous offerings (which were also delightful).

The change to get rid of the previewed dwarven edict to destroy enemies, and the change to Lamashtu's for treating a mental illness, both kept the essence of dwarven society/Lamashtu while removing the ickyness. Very highly approve.

I would really like to see a mix of lengths. Whatever AP is associated with the immortal war? That one is probably going to feel incredibly compressed if it's three books. But if it's like drift crisis and has two very linked 3 book APs, that could work. But littler stories, like we have seen in QFF and OoA? Those are great for 2 or three books. I have absolutely loved 6 book APs. And I hope they, or very similar stories, stick around. Would also like to see varied starting levels for those shorter APs - let's get a 5-14, and a 3-12, and let us bulk them up if we want to with homebrew and scenarios and adventures, but could certainly just start with more experienced adventurers as well.

I thought they mentioned somewhere the possibility, specifically for these books considering the three covers, exclusive game store sketch, that they were looking at an easy way to pause or skip the core books. Did we get any update on that?

The pdfs are sold by Paizo, not Foundry. I'm just happy they actually did journal entries, I absolutely do not want to have to poorly fiddle with copying from the pdf to get a usable game.

I like that there can often be a tradeoff too if players are just trying to use their highest skill. Going to use intimidation or athletics? Most cases where there might have been a discussion first is now straight into combat. Stealth? You can't talk unless you want to lose your stealthiness. Recall knowledge skills? Maybe you weren't paying quite as much attention to other things/your surroundings (perception. But having an early RK can be very very helpful, especially for something like a redcap (killed 3/4 PCs with one this weekend because they didn't know how to deal with it).

I feel like Skywatch was rather done dirty so skipping that section entirely to just not be disappointing. They mention the portal network under the ice so might have them come back from castrovel that way and then the dreams urge them to the spirits.

So clouds are usually a thousand or so feet up. The only scenario I can come up where this is particularly useful is a dragon deciding it's actually a spaceship from bsg, starting out at 2015 feet. Drop 500 feet the first round, still in the clouds, no one has seen you. Drop 1500 feet, you're 15 feet from the ground and everyone is now within your aura and you're gonna mess em up the next round. Might be fun once? Seems extremely niche use case to get closer that would be useful as a tactic. Now an unbreakabler bouncy goblin that falls and murders folk with each bounce could be interesting. But hard to get your foes to line up to the exact vertical and horizontal distances needed for such a maneuver to be useful. Maybe a battlefield tactic of launching bouncy goblins toward rows of troops.

Really enjoy the update to the character sheets - giving new players some basic tactics/interactions is great. The one thing I still really don't like is for things like Rage for Popcorn - for the love of all the gods please put a raging/non-raging damage in the sheet, including damage type. I get not putting what all the feats do (there's a lot of them!), but that omission makes it difficult to play.

I like having the +++/- and fixed ++ in the ancestry pages for the same reason I like the write ups and sample names - I sadly don't live on Golarion and it's interesting to know what people might expect of my character and it aids in my characterization and roleplay of the character. I absolutely would be annoyed if paizo went the route of just saying two fixed boosts and no longer printing the other options, and I agree that mechanically the +++- is more interesting - all but one of my PCs to date has used that array. Like many others, it's not about the new options which I find great and will also utilize, it's about having the whole buffet of possibilities.

Think pleasure cruise boat, with cloth windows that can be raised or lowered.

Loreguard wrote: In theory, all you have to do it get an author to commit to writing a novel via Pathfinder Infinite channel, but I don't know that the terms/conditions would be a big draw to most established authors. But it might if someone always wanted to tell a particular story that contained Paizo IP. Two of their previous tales authors have put short stories on infinite. The popularity of those offerings I doubt is sufficient to encourage them to try longer novels.

I have had the same problem for the last 4 months. Attempts with customer service to fix it only resulted in cancelling and resubbing subscriptions which screwed up several orders (some months old) and led to missing out on PDFs for several releases in addition to the missing paizo advantage scenarios. The Starfinder Adventure subscription hasn't been working for counting toward this since it came out (and I subbed almost immediately), and it's ridiculous that it's not fixed yet.

Lanathar wrote: For anyone who has played this - what is the run time? If you are running with players who are pf2 savvy or who you pre-print all the abilities that are very much glossed over in the stat blocks, it takes about 3-3.5 hours with moderate levels of roleplay. Add several hours for brand new folk because things like damage from rage are not written in and you'll have to figure it out, plus the normal telling them how the rules work with actions and reactions and such.

Not a support person, but have you attempted to request the reset using an incognito web browser or tab? The tracking things on this site are absolutely abominable and regularly keep people from logging in. And actually, I'd recommend attempting to logon using an incognito browser first, the reset request may not have even gone through and you may be attempting to login properly.
