Should Quinn also have Proficiency in Finesse so he can use the full abilities of finesse cards?
Would seem to suit the character as described.

I have updated my card details on the Piazo web site now but can't get the order to switch over to either of the new cards I have added or to delete the old card.
Can you please assist.
Regards
Andrew

Bimonthly
Still playing through pack four at present

Ok can you please cancel my subscription to the pathfinder card game then.

Do I need to cancel and reorder the subscription if I want to skip the base set for the new card game?

This power allows the recharge with no skill roll. So she is good with magic with out actualy having magic personaly.

So yes she could recharge a wand of ennervation automaticly.

Yes you are doing it right. Your check to survive using the venom without damage is seperate check from your check to defeat the bane.

First attempt at running Organised play for the card game in Glasgow.
This will be on Moday 3rd November in the Auctioneers pub lounge starting around 17:00.
(can have some flexible on time if required)
I will be there from 16:15 to eat, chat etc.
If time and demand allows then plan to have a second game starting about 19:30

Scenarios are “On the Horizon” to introduce new players to the game if required
Followed by “Ghosts of the Deep”

I have class decks available if anyone wishes to borrow one for the night

Hic,

Sounds like you did it right to me.

No problems
Thanks
Andy

There has been a few occasions already where we use one card in place of another in OP either as a henchman or as a normal boon that gives a chance to close the location.

Rather than try to remember which boon is the special one or to ignore what it says on the henchman card and do what the scenario says would it be possible to get a set of eight generic henchman cards to cover this function.

Probably this would be via "Drive Through RPG" like the errata cards. Cards really just has to say "Refer to scenario special instructions" or something similar.

This would put less strain on my less than perfect memory.

The only limit is if you solo then you only get credit for one character not the number you play as far as OP is concered.

So for example you can solo a whole party of four at home but when you do OP with others you only get to use at most one of these charaters.

Opened up scenario pack one and Riptide Cove card is missing. Can you help.

I had something similar until explorer was updated.

I can see why this guidance/rule would anoy some people.

But its there because you no longer have the situation you have in a normal game where if you harm another character they it will probably come back to bite you sooner or later.

In OP there might not be any later for a particular group of players so some other mechanism is required to ensure people act like they are a group of heros and not playing just acting with out thinking about the consequences for others.

With SS you get the option to add cards from any class deck you have. I guess that is customizable part.

Though of course you can do that with rise of the runelords as well the option was not there when the game came out at first.

With every extra player you are adding another 10 cards that potently have to be encountered. So even though you have the same number of turns a 5 or 6 player game has significanlty more cards to get thorough in the same amount of time.

My experiance is that 5 or 6 players games are only suited for a group of well experianced players.

The characters from the packs you can use in any of the campaigns.

The decks are mainly for use in the Organised play senarios.

But you do have the option for adding the cards from the decks into the base box if you wish. See rule book for setting up your box.

It has already been agreed that this watermark will be removed see link below.

So just waiting for it to happen now.

The simple but probaly unpopular option would be to have only 2 or three characters in a class deck.
Now you have a few more cards and less different options you need to fill.

Doing a boon deck for OP would be difficult. The class decks all say what deck they are from so any expansion cards would also have to say that so you can sort out who owns what card after the game. That limits the usfulness of any boon decks.

You could put a marker of some type (bookmark) that is the number of cards up from the bottom of your deck as your hand size as that is most number of cards you will need to draw at any one time when you reset your hand.
Then when you get to your mark it realy time to get some healing or to start playing it safe.

The key word here is you MAY remove boons with the basic trat.
So you can chose to keep them in circulation.

Ok have them all in my paws now at long last :-)

I would just leave the cards in as per normal play and if you draw a basic card durring an OP game discard it and draw another one from the box untill you get a non-basic card.

Ok got my notification of customs duty fees to pay so that means the box is sitting in the Glasgow sorting office somewhere. So Should have it by the weekend barring any other problems :-)

Yes as Hawkmoon says you would have to be able to use the card before you attemt the check so some where in:

Encountering a Card
Apply any effects that happen when you encounter a card.
Apply any evasion effects.
Apply any effects that happen before you act.

So it would be difficult to play but I am not quite ready to say impossable yet as there may be a suitable combination out there somewhere.

As a suggestiong we play in the lounge of a pub on a Monday evening when they are normaly very quite after the weekend. So its just the cost of a few drinks each then.

There is nothing to stop you playing two or more characters when playing solo which was my approch when I started. The sweet point of the game seems to be about 3 or 4 characters/players.

But if you want to play a single character Merisial may be a good one to start with as she gets benifits when she is at a location by her self.

When playing with a single character the blessing deck count down will not be your main issue it will be surviving. At the other end of the scale when playing with 5 or 6 characters surving is not such a problem but completing the senario before the blessing deck runs out is.

Yes this Merisiel the archer so she is good with bows.

Its the Merisiel that has something specal when using daggers that we have not seen yet which is a bit odd as she is normaly covered in them.

Still waiting up in Scotland for my 998 cards worth of goodness.
Expecting mine by the end of the end of the week if the 6 to 10 working day delivery is to be beleved. And to be fare they normaly do come with in that time period assuming customs don't hold them up like they did my base set.

Ok After finishing Adventure 3, remove basic and elite cards starting with B & C & 1 cards. Understand that fine.

But that will include all the Blessings of the Gods cards which are basic.
So what about the characters that rely on these cards (AMARYLLIS) and monsters that have an effect that is triggerd by Bleessing of the Gods such as were creatures?

If you play solo you are only allowed to cronical one character. That single character will be the one you take to other organised play events if you only have occasional access to them.

Also completing adventures sometimes gives you other rewards such as allowing you to play the swashbuckler using the rogue deck.

It's yet another delay that is the annoying bit. Was expecting to be playing the game weeks ago.

Still not received S$s apparently the pirates upset the customs so they have been hit by a £20 charge to brake them out.

Could you please warn customers in future that on items over £15 they are going to be hit with extra charges and delays in getting there goods.

My local FLAG has had the game for a week now and I am still waiting. Lesson learned.

Nothing in the rules allowes you to do that directly.

Though you could treat his character as having died during a game.
Then you get to add his cards into the pile when you reset your deck at the end of the game.

I knew there was a reason pirates were so keen on pearls

Ok no worries

Sorry you can't do that. You have to use the role card that came with the caracter. That has already been confimed in another thread.

Sounds good.
Thanks

My order 3228214 sill shows as pending.
It has now got to the point where there is little advantage in getting the order sent now as compared to waiting till the standard September shipment and a significant hit in shipping costs to the UK.

So if you have not already shiped it can you please pospone my order and sent it all (base card game, expansion, senario 2, class decks x7, playmat) with my September shipment. That way its just the one big parcel to ship across the atlantic.

Thanks
Andy

My order Order 3228214 is still showing as pending. Could you check into this for me.
Thanks
Andy

Pending, pending, pending...
I am still pending.

The suspenders are killing me, or should that be suspense?

Something off the extra cost of shiping would be my suggestion as many of us now have two large packages to get shipped (to UK in my case) rather than one which puts our cost up.

If you look under Upgrading your deck the first line is "In Adventure Card Guild play, you don’t get to keep the cards that you’ve acquired or otherwise gained during the scenario.". That would include cards you have been given.

So it is not expicit where that the given card goes but it is definatly not kept by the person you gave it to and should end up with its owner at the end of the night.

Rules need clarified but my assumption would be that it ends up back in the deck of the character who gave it out.

Has any consideration been given to the Class deck characters for thoses of use who would like to have these as standees as well?
Images for these characters are not so common.

3rd of September is the Piazo release date at the moment. So by the time it gets to the UK it will be close to November.

Unless you pre-order them from Piazo in which case you might get them a little earler. (I hope)

When you get the Wrecker abilitys you also get to the stage of the game where you are removing basic and eliet cards. This ability lets you get rid of these boons and any others you do not want just at the moment without having to expended an explore to do so.

Normal weapons stay in your hand when you use them unless you discard it for an extra effect.

Guns on the other hand are tricky, they jam and break so even when you just use them normaly some times they still end up back in you hand.
