For the longest time, Ruadhan has fought the feelings within him. He knew what Daire would become and what he would perceive and yet here stands Aine returned to him. As logic and love warred within him, he several times bwgan to speak, only for his voice to crack with longing. Tears ran down the side of his face for a while until he cuffed them away, and it was all he could do to follow his wife without doing anything that his brain said would give them away. As the goddess spoke to Aine seeing somebody else, Ruadhan almost broke his silence to question her foolishness in not seeing Aine, and he had to bite his lip hard enough to draw blood in order to stop himself, attributing it to the fey of this place. Then as the potion began to fail, the charm failed and Ruadhan just felt hugely embarrassed and bereft once again, staying silent as he fought his emotions and the goddess began to rage the others trying to calm her.
Finally as Thorun charges, Ruadhan hardens himself despite the tears openly running down his face now, and calls out as he walks forward. "Lady, please stand down, I beg you. I understand your pain, for my wife left never to return, crossing the veil of death which I could not easily follow. I saw my beloved as you saw yours and I thought she was real despite knowing otherwise. Knowing this do you think we would have done this without absolute need? We will return it to your keeping when our need is ended, if you will please stand down. But if not, then i will not let you hurt my friends."
As Ruadhan approaches, he readies his sword and shield, his hands tightening on the leather wrapped grips until the leather practically bites into them.

Stepping up to support Thorun, Ruadhan's attacks are hampered by his attempts to try to protect his heavily wounded friend. It does however allow him to intercept some of the blows and to watch for others moving.
Applying my Shield bearer trait to give Thorun +2AC for 1 round, also my against the first attack against Thorun by the Treant? Applying 1 use of mythic power if I can to allow Thorun to strike back.
I also have 10ft reach for purposes of AOO and would get 3.

Nodding at Aoife's comments about Sister Cobhlaith, Ruadhan gathers the two ladies together, his hands on their shoulders he bends down to look them in the eyes. " Sister Cobhlaith, Aoife. We are on our way to shelter, I know of a couple of places near here as we are approaching the equivalent of my home, I will get us there as soon as I can. But you are both working yourselves into a panic. I know it is hard on you sister, as for the moment you are blind and can only hear, but focus on your faith. Moving off east quickly, Ruadhan modulates his pace to the quickest Sister Cobhlaith can manage safely, explaining what he knows as he moves.

"Barring the attack on Conchobar, I don't know Muircheartach, but my friends seem to have an idea and I trust them with my life. Rally your men to protect Conchobar and Cobhlaith. I will not leave him at risk, but I would protect my friends."
Taking the chance to ready his shield and darts, Ruadhan raises his voice. "Guards of Sitric O’Maolfabhail, stand down and let them fight it out man to woman or all surrender. Get involved and I will fell you."

No problems, I will have a think, something more chatty this time I feel. I would quite like to play a librarian I think, but I will see what comes up from everyone else and fill the appropriate gap as needed, if they get in before next week. I feel Einar had better have died amongst a mountain of chitin and bone, or maybe he is still out there lost behind enemy lines!

Sorry was away from my books yesterday. If you look at the grenade part of the Armoury chapter (page 151), there is a sidebar on throwing grenades. Why not in the rules section, who knows!
Basically it is a BS test, on a miss it scatters (roll 1d10 against table page 248).
If it 'jams' roll 1d10, 0-9 is a dud and nothing happens, 10 it explodes centred on you.
scatter table roughly translates as 1= NW, 2=N, 3=NE, 4=W, 5=E, 6-7=SW, 8=S, 9-0=SE

First founding has some extra chapter trappings and obviously the other chapters such as White Scars etc. Rites of Battle for the armours, some pretty cool wargear and deeds and distinctions.

I think someone asked for landspeeder stats? So here they are:
Type:Skimmer; Tactical speed:30m; Cruising speed: 275kph; Manoeuvrability: +20; Structural integrity: 20; Size:hulking; Armour: 18 F,s and r; Crew: driver and gunner.
Wpns:
- Gunner operated Hvy Bolter: Facing front/right, 150m, _/_/10, 3d10+1X, Pen 6, Clip 100, Reload 2full, Tearing.
- Driver operated Cerberus launcher: Facing Front, 30m, _/3/_, may fire Frag, Blind or Stun (see pages 150-151 DW rulebook)
Carrying capacity of 5 scouts or 4 in power armour.
Special:
- Skimmer: Hovers,therefore ignores terrain that might hamper movement. If immobilised count as destroyed as it crashes into the ground.
- Jamming Beacon: Auspexes, locator beacons,teleport homers and similar wargear does not function within 15m of landspeeder Storm. Also makes other teleportation (inc summoning of daemons) more difficult in this radius.
And Open topped is mentioned in general landspeeder stuff.
Open topped: Enemies may target crew and passengers by using the called shot action.

There are some other upsides and some downsides to the errata though, free download from fantasy flight website.

Found it in the errata! no penalty to concealment or silent move. Also if we are allowing errata stuff, all Space wolves get Counter Attack as a starting talent and on the advance list they can get the Flesh Render talent for 500.
Assuming all good with the GM of course.

The daemon's blow sends Othair into a sea of pain,sinking down it washes slowly away, his rent and broken armour hangs from his body as he walks forward across the snow, The Fang visible as always, the mountain of mountains. This is not right, I was not here, I was fighting with the Deathwatch, far from here. As he utters the word Deathwatch, the previous wearers of his armour, stretching back in time, appear in front of him. One steps forward "A puppy dog, the wolves are weak, they are not worthy to wear the same armour as us", another steps forward, the topknot marking him as a White Scar, "Enough brother Dark Angel, see you stir him to anger.There is fight left in him, he may yet prove worthy. Here wolf, take my hand and all the pain will go away, or stand on your own and return, for your enemy still lives." Othair fought to stand, his knees wobbly like a newborn stag.
Opening his eyes to see Luthar and Morgan he accepted his wolf brother's hand and climbed to his feet. "Thank you priest-apothecary, I assume you brought me back for I feel strong again. Russ has saved me yet again. For what purpose, i know not. The beast in me rails to chase the daemon and rend it limb from limb, but you are right brother. We must be clever, it relishes combat like us, so we must hunt it as a pack against a fearsome ice wyrm and use our numbers."

@DMC I know I shouldn't really be reading this thread yet, but as someone hoping to be the party's spy/scout/info gatherer, I have been keeping an eye on this thread anyway.
From myself, I hope they can help her. No need to apologise you clearly have more important things to worry about. That must be really hard to tell anyone even complete strangers, so thanks for the update and I hope she gets better soon.
