I recently moved and tried changing my billing/shipping address. It appears my changes didn't go through because my last order got declined. The billing information should now be correct. Can you please run the transaction again? Thanks.

Recently, I had to cancel my credit card and had a new one issued. I entered the new information into the site. For some reason I cannot set it as my default payment method. The site keeps setting back to the old method. I've tried deleting the old entry but it keeps coming back. Can you please process my order and set the new card as my default payment method? Lastly, with my current subscriptions, am i set for 2nd edition for all three hardcovers on release? Thanks.

Last year I preordered the Starfinder Core Rulebook which I picked up at GenCon. Admittedly, it's been sitting on the shelf most of the time since. About last week or so the binding finally broke. Is this still eligible for replacement?

I'm on the fence about if I'm going to come this year. I live on the East Coast and it's becoming harder to justify flying out there for a con where I mainly hang around the hotel. This isn't Paizo's or the event's fault. I'm wondering about other things I can do while I'm out there. I'm not a big outdoors/nature person so hiking is out. What else is there to do out there outside of the con solo? If I do this again I may stay a few extra days. Any ideas?

I should have done this before GenCon, but go ahead and add the Starfinder AP to my subscriptions starting with volume one. Hopefully this can make it in before the order is fully processed. Given that I have an active order I don't know if adding anything would update in the current order. Thanks.

I preordered the Starfinder Core Rulebook and selected to have it picked up at GenCon. The question I have is in regards to the PDF. Does the preorder include the free PDF? I recently did start the Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscription but I don't know if that counts towards it being so late in the process. Am I too late for that even though the order hasn't gone through? I marked the sub down to start with Alien Archive but I guess it can be changed to start with the Core book. If that's the issue please change my subscription (I ask because of the timing of the order, I don't want to miss the chance). Also, I would like all of my banked Paizo Gift Certificates applied to this order. Thank you.

Something I have noticed in all of the APs out there is that they all seem to involve some world ending evil. An evil that must be fought or the world as we know it will end. What about an AP where the stakes aren't as high. What about an AP where you are actually connected to the circumstances of your success or your failure? In the Ultimate Campaigns book there are a lot of options for relationships, creating businesses, creating kingdoms; but seldom do we see these options used except for the Kingmaker campaign. What about an AP that keeps things local? What about a campaign that makes you care about the people you are saving aside from being Xp or gold rewards? This is just a few random thoughts. Maybe the idea of the Adventure Path needs an overhaul.

I remember when Core was first announced. A lot of people were excited about the idea of replaying old scenarios that they couldn't anymore. Others saw it as a great point of entry for new players. And also others saw an innate challenge in tweaking characters with limited access to material while playing more difficult scenarios. It all sounded so great, until the bottom dropped out. When I went to PaizoCon last year there were Core games on the schedule. One of the things that I heard from one of the local Seattle VC's was that many of the 7-11 tables were getting cancelled because no one was signing up for it. It's not a big surprise considering that Core Campaign had only recently been announced in March. I made the comment that I had a level 7 Core Wizard and a level 5 Core Cleric, I was asked if I had a life. This year at PaizoCon there was zero support for Core. Tonya Woldridge mentioned that if you wanted to play Core then you could arrange it by table. This might work well for the Seattle crowd but that is a problem for people like me flying out from Virginia. There may have been some pickup games on Core but I didn't hear of any. There certainly weren't any in the afternoon slots. During a recent podcast Tanya Woldridge also mentioned that there was a library program for new players concentrating on Core. I don't know of any of those programs in my area (Fairfax, VA) so I don't think this affects me. To sum it all of I'm trying to figure out what to do next. When Core was first announced there were a few tables for it locally but it eventually fizzled out. Currently, I am the only local GM that is running Core on a regular basis, no one else I know is supporting it. What am I supposed to do with the three Core characters I have? Hold out for someone to maybe run a game down the road? Or should I just give up and move them all over to the regular campaign so I can actually play them. Does replay factor into the move as on my characters? I have chronicles that I can no longer replay. Please don't take this for a rant. I'm just trying to figure out what to do.

On the first day of signups I was quick to get into the events I wanted. However, after checking recently some of them seem to be gone. It appears that after being confirmed for both the Friday night Siege of Serpents special and the Sunday night Serpents Rise special, both of the events are no longer on my schedule and both events are full. What is going on?

I apologize if this is in the wrong category. It was either here or the Core category. I felt this more appropriate with the spoiler involved. Yesterday I played Fangwood Keep and received this boon: Spoiler:
Study of Infinite Spells: Although you were unable to learn spells directly from the book of infinite spells, the Pathfinder Society rewarded you for the recovery of such a powerful artifact by allowing you access to its extensive spell libraries. Choose any number of spells of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th level so long as the total spell levels do not add up to more than eight. You may scribe these spells into a spellbook or formulae book by paying only the scribing costs (see page 219 of the Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook), or you may teach them to your familiar as appropriate. The question: Under the circumstances listed and the idea of "earned access" in Core, would this allow access to non-Core materials?

I assume that the beginning of Season 7 will still be on GenCon weekend? Also, I've heard there may be a new Guide to Organized Play v6.1 to account for some of the new changes (especially Core), is this true? Lastly, are we going to see the Faction Cards before or at the introduction to Season 7?

In the process for registering for PaizoCon 2015 I may have accidentally ordered something I didn't need. I purchased two 4 Day Deluxe Badges AND two tickets to the Banquet. I forgot that the Deluxe badges come with the banquet so I accidentally wound up with 4 tickets. I have already transferred one of the banquet tickets, I would like the other two refunded if possible. Thank you.

Locally I have heard that selecting a magic item for a wizard's bonded object reduces the price of the item. I know that it can initially give access to a masterwork object but can't find a reference to this anywhere else. Some have said it reduces the price of the item by half. Is this true?

I was wondering if the rules for scribing are different from the normal campaign. First- The rule is that you can scribe any scroll that is on the chronicle sheet. I am guessing you have to have the chronicle to get that spell.

Seekers of Secrets page 43 wrote: Most ioun stones use the normal pricing rules for magic items; the major difference is that they all use the x2 modifier for not using a magic item space on the body. For example, figuring out the price of upgrading a deep red sphere ioun stone from a +2 enhancement bonus to a +4 enhancement bonus is just a matter of using the formula (bonus squared x 1000 gp x2), which gives a final price of 32,000gp; the difference between that and the standard item cost of 8000 gp is 24,000gp. So, does this mean if I want a Pink and Green Sphere with a +6 charisma it will cost me a total of 72,000gp?

I was wondering just how serious the rules on height and weight were in PFS play. To me it always seemed to be a case of just picking what was right for your character. The issue has zero effect on just how a character performs. Much like gender, it's a purely image based choice. I've been working on making an Oread brawler or possibly monk. I took a closer look recently and realized that oreads top out at 5 feet tall. It's almost as if they are walking rocks that look like dwarves. This kinda spoiled the idea I had running of a very tall, muscular character. I guess my question is can I just make the guy 6'4" and just ignore the race height/weight table? I'm not gaining any kind of benefit off of it. In the end he is still going to be a medium sized creature.

I am currently considering retraining my Aasimar Life Oracle into the Spirit Guide archtype. This character has the aasimar preferred class bonus for revelations and specifically for Channeling. First, when taking the Spirit Guide archtype allows an oracle to pick one shaman spirit. Is it possible to choose the Life Mystery? According to the class you can change it each day but it's not what I have in mind. Second, if the first question is legal what about the Channel ability? Do I gain an entire bank of channels in addition to the ones I already have? Last, how does the aasimar preferred class bonus factor into this? Do the new channels get the aasimar preferred class bonus? The additional bank does seem to be a bit broken. This is kinda like the Purifier archtype in getting additional channels but only to harm outsiders.

One thing I would like to add as a possible suggestion would be to be able to look at your old sessions. As I GM I have reported events and as part of that reporting naturally you need to put in the character number for each player. Thankfully this usually works as the number autofills with the registered character's name. What I would like is the ability to go back to a past session as a player and see who was at the table with me. All I am interested in seeing in this case is the character name-no PFS numbers. My reasoning would be to be able to look back at old adventures to see who shared them with me. For instance, my first PFS scenario I played at a out of state con. I went back with the same character to the same con a year later and ran into the same player playing the same character. This is just an example. Maybe its something to look into.

I need some help here. I started this character off with this idea of sorta remaking Paladin from Have Gun Will Travel. I've been looking at him and I'm kinda at a loss of what to do with him. The character is a 1 Gunslinger/3 Paladin. I'd like to stick with the character concept but I don't know if I can live with just doing 1d8 damage going into level 5. Here are my stats: Rook

Currently I'm debating on if I want to go to this or not. Money isn't really the problem but time off is. I have thought of attending either this con or GenCon. The problem with GenCon is the date which is just before DragonCon, which I attend every year without exception. I'm coming from the Washington DC area so I'll have to fly out there. I am extremely active in the local PFS and I have played a majority of the scenarios out there, all of the specials except Shadows Under Absolom and did Bonekeep 1 and 2 last weekend. The new special might be interesting but Paizo chickened out and left out the seeker tier which hasn't happened in a while. I know there will be a new special and some of the new season scenarios. Is there anything else to draw me out there?

I am working on a Chirurgeon Alchemist for PFS and had a couple of questions I remember seeing a something similar to a Surgical Mask, Surgical Gloves and a Surgical Outfit. Does this exist? And if so what is the source? I have a healer's kit and surgical kit. Are there any other items a surgeon/mortician might need? Is there any feasibility to the Heal skill or is it a waste of time? Also, is there a talent that gives a decent boost to the heal skill?

I had a recent idea over how a wizard could potentially cover up a murder with little or no traces. Disintegrate would be the obvious choice turning the body to dust then cleaning it up with Prestidigitation. I had another idea that might also work, using Monster Summoning and summoning a carnivore to do the clean up. Have the creature eat the victim and then dismiss the creature. There might be leftovers in the case of a dog but most of the mess could likely be cleaned up with e Prestidigitation spell. Any thoughts?

Ok, just to recap.. Ring of Spell Knowledge Aura moderate or strong (no school); CL 7th
This ring comes in four types: ring of spell knowledge I, ring of spell knowledge II, ring of spell knowledge III, and ring of spell knowledge IV. All of them are useful only to spontaneous arcane spellcasters. Through study, the wearer can gain the knowledge of a single spell in addition to those allotted by her class and level. A ring of spell knowledge I can hold 1st-level spells only, a ring of spell knowledge II 1st- or 2nd-level spells, a ring of spell knowledge III spells of 3rd level or lower, and a ring of spell knowledge IV up to 4th-level spells. A ring of spell knowledge is only a storage space; the wearer must still encounter a written, active, or cast version of the spell and succeed at a DC 20 Spellcraft check to teach the spell to the ring. Thereafter, the arcane spellcaster may cast the spell as though she knew the spell and it appeared on her class' spell list. Arcane spells that do not appear on the wearer's class list are treated as one level higher for all purposes (storage and casting). And add to the mix.... Use Magic Device Emulate a Class Feature: Sometimes you need to use a class feature to activate a magic item. In this case, your effective level in the emulated class equals your Use Magic Device check result minus 20. This skill does not let you actually use the class feature of another class. It just lets you activate items as if you had that class feature. If the class whose feature you are emulating has an alignment requirement, you must meet it, either honestly or by emulating an appropriate alignment with a separate Use Magic Device check (see above). To make a long story short, I'm looking to use a Ring of Spell Knowledge on my life oracle. I'm wondering if and how it would work. I'm guessing it would only work on spells that are both on the cleric/oracle AND wizard spell lists. Any thoughts?

For a while now I've been looking for some minis for some of my PFS characters. Problem is most sites have small images for their minis and frankly, there isn't one single place I've seen that I can search that has a good enough selection. I know I won't be able to find something perfect. I just want something close that I can repaint and repurpose. Here is what I'm looking for -A female cleric or healer. Wears robes and a cloak as opposed to armor. I would prefer one that doesn't wear a bikini. I want something a little more modest or realistic. -A Shoanti cleric of Gorum with a level a barbarian. I can see a fighter mini for him. I'm looking for a big guy with a greatsword wearing heavy plate armor, preferably with spikes. If he's not wearing a helmet his head is shaved. -An elven swordsman, actually a magus. I thought about the iconic but trying to see if there is anything else out there. This one is a dervish magus armed with a scimitar. It would be awesome if I could fine one dressed in a colonial style outfit (he's an Eagle Knight). -A mwangi female alchemist, yes, I know this one is all but impossible. The outfit would be all utility, zero aestherics or care for looks. Hair can be cornrows or shaved. I've been looking for a while and I haven't come up with much so I thought I would give this a try. Any good leads would be appreciated. Thanks.

Since I played in a Kingmaker campaign I have, for a long time been wanting to run one of my own. I have seen the potential problems in this campaign. Recent releases like Ultimate Campaign, Mythic Adventures and the Dragon's Demand have given me an idea. First, it would start with the Dragon's Demand. I would run the module in it's entirety with the group ending at about levels 7 or 8, possibly 9. I would move the city of Belhaim to Brevoy somewhere, maybe somewhere south but not too far. I would also enable players to make characters using the Kingmaker Player's Guide. Second, and this is where it gets crazy. I would use character trees. This idea was introduced in Dark Sun as a means of getting around the lethality of the campaign. I want to do this to give the players multiple points of view in the campaign. The tree works like this: you make 3 characters in addition to the main, every time you level, one other character gains a level. The designated "Main" cannot gain levels this way. All of the additional characters are related to the main somehow (relatives, servants, followers, proteges etc). It should be easily possible to fill every post in government with backups with a 5 player group. The group that finishes the Dragon's Demand will form the core of this group. Who better to lead an expedition than a group of famous dragon slayers? Third, I would split the events of the campaign so that different characters would participate in different parts of the campaign. The high level characters are the rulers doing the main events and the lower levels are the followers doing all the exploring and errand running. Fourth, and lastly I would try to incorporate the enhanced encounters as well as Redcelt's political background information. i'm wondering though, am I biting off more than I can chew.

I'm wondering if it's legal for this trait to be taken by an Oracle. It is stated as Cleric only from the Faction Guide. However, this book was written before the Advanced Players Guide (there's an advert for it on the back cover. It seems logical as there is a lot of overlap between Oracles and Clerics. From the Faction Guide:
From the Shattered Star Player's Guide:
This seems to be a more sensible and more up to date version of this trait. Oddly enough this adventure path is the only one where the characters themselves are Pathfinders. Not to mention that for some reason some Players Guide's from some AP's are legal and some aren't To me it it makes sense, if it's not level per RAW it damn well should be.
Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Superscriber; Pathfinder Starfinder Roleplaying Game Subscriber
There are two things I have noticed which seem to be missing from the Additional Resources document. First, there are currently five adventure paths that are sanctioned for PFS play. Among these AP's only one of them has their respective Player's Guide listed. There is some listings only from Rise of the Runelords. Also the Curse of the Crimson Throne Player's Guide is authorized for play. It brings up a question why none of the others are? Second, Ultimate Campaign has been out for a couple of months. I understand that most of the material there is meant for home campaigns. Other than the retraining rules is there anything else that is going to be included? There are a ton of traits in that book, likely a summary of most of the traits in the game in one reference. I understand some are story feats and such and they can be ruled out but what about the rest of them. Specifically, there are a lot of class feats that look really good.

I decided for PFS I wanted to make the ultimate healer. I also wanted a character that I would like roleplaying as well. It's working so far. I literally have people cheer at local games when I show up with this character. I play her as a pacifist except in regards to undead or evil outsiders who she will use spells on and channel to harm them. When she isn't healing she's buffing. I just hit 7th level and I'm thinking about what I'll be doing further down the road. I'm thinking of Quick Channel for burst healing/damage. I'm also thinking of Energy Body for the revelation, not just for the free heal but also that it makes you immune to a lot of things...just not for a long time. For 9th and 11th level feats I'm thinking of going in two directions. Going the logical route I'm thinking Toughness and Extra Channel. This character puts every preferred class bonus into channel energy and channels at levelx1.5. Also she uses Life Link on the whole party...more HP the better. The other direction is more for fun/RP. I'm thinking of getting Angelic Blood (which is a terrible feat) at 9th so I can get Angel Wings at 11th level. It would give me the ability to fly around the battlefield and keep me out of range of a lot of melee. I'll admit the more I think about this character with wings the better I like it. Any general advice I could get would be appreciated. Thanks. Kaeril Adon

A few days ago I received my subscription order for August. There is a problem with the shipment as the copy of Mythic Adventures was damaged on receipt. The book has a large crack down the center of the front cover. Also the entire book seems to be bent as a result. I sent an email yesterday documenting this as well. I enclosed pictures to better show the damage. One image shows two books on a flat service as a comparison, the damaged left book is the aforementioned Mythic Adventures and the one on the right is a mint copy of the Advanced Race Guide. None of the other books in the shipment displayed damage of any kind.

Background: E'los Soluzar was a refugee from an outlying elven clan that met a mysterious end. It is considered recent in elven years as it only happened about 60 years ago. Very little is known of how Clan Magestra met its end. Many of the members of this clan were worshippers of Sarenrae, their lawful bent bristled against the chaotic tendencies of Kyonin. The clan’s most noteworthy accomplishment was their marching in the Shining Crusade against the Whispering Tyrant. What is known is that the children of the clan were rounded up by their elders and spirited away quickly and without explanation. It is suspected that the clan was either attacked or sacrificed themselves to contain some great evil that the clan had accidentally unleashed. In the aftermath nothing was left behind, the keep itself has disappeared as if vanishing into thin air. The clan had good, though aloof relations with many human noble houses that split the children between many nations raising them separately. It is not known why the clan sent their children to live with humans as opposed to sending them back to the elven homeland of Kyonin. The children were sent with some treasure to defray the cost of raising and educating them. Some of the children ended up in good families that educated the children. Others took the treasure and kicked the children out onto the streets. He wound up with a decent family of lesser nobility in Brevic city of Restov. However, being human they were totally unprepared in facing the prospect of a child that aged so slowly. As a child the only thing he wanted to do was finally grow up. Books were his escape and over the long years he became known as “The Child in the Tower”. Childhood had become a prison with time as his jailor. As a teenager (in elven terms around age 80-90) his silver hair slowly began to streak red until only red remained and his magic ability finally awakened. The very last of his family inheritance was spent on his training in the arts of wizardry elsewhere in Restov. He ended up getting apprenticed to a retired battle mage. His fiery nature made him a natural fit for the Evocation school to specialize in. He chose Necromancy as an opposition school due to an aversion to the "creepy" nature of dealing with dead things. He chose Enchantment as his other school because he felt the mind altering spells were too indirect and smelled of cowardice. In his eyes, why should you cast a charm on an enemy when for the same effort you can incinerate them? He has a particular penchant for fire spells. His fragmented upbringing has left him a rash, impulsive and slightly embittered adult. He has a short temper and arrogant disposition that seems to have gotten worse with age and will probably get worse as he gains more power. He has somewhat exaggerated "sharp" angular facial features with high cheek bones. His hair is bright red, slicked back with a widow's peak in the front and going all the way down to the top of his back. His skin is fair with a slight trace or hint of gold. His eyes are blue and usually slightly narrowed as if he is constantly calculating something. His speech is laced with a thick Brevic accent. It is very likely that he ended up turning out the opposite of his parent's intentions as he was being groomed to be a warrior, paladin or cleric when he was younger. Notes:
Well the deadline is coming and I still haven't decided which faction I'm switching to. The character in question is a Shoanti Barbarian 1/Cleric 5 of Gorum. His alignment is CN. He's basically a big armored brute that doesn't really care about morality. He does try to act honorably but in unconventional ways as he is chaotic. He has finished Rivalry End and is likely PISSED about what Torch has done. Looking at the factions here are his ideas from an RP perspective: Andoran: Slavery sucks but it's not my fault those people are too weak to fight for themselves.
