![]() GM- Let's see.. I can bring that down again to level 3, not a problem, I just thought that with the advancements, it releases the creation limitation. My apologies. The non sorcery things are stuff that Paradigm has mastered and thus can do them without having to cast. The fire bolt and tk are his basic attacks, whereas the destruction power is a new sorcery that he is working on. I'll try to fix that with the points this weekend and go from there. ![]()

![]() Updated with Hindrances and some more Sorcery Schticks... Name: Professor Paradigm
Special Abilities:
Super Powers:
Personal Details: Paradigm was taken at an early age to become a Technomage in another galaxy. Unfortunately, he took to his studies to well and began to overshadow the other apprentices, even engineering for them to fail. He was cast out of the order and sent back home, but one of the elder mages saw his potential and allowed him to keep his gift, as he watches Paradigm from afar... Now Paradign uses his powers to find ways to increase his knowledge of the technology within him. He will stop at nothing to master it... Look: Professor Paradigm has no hair on any part of him. It is burned off in a ritual to cleanse him of taint... His clothes are simple black suit with black cloak and boots. If you look closely at his skin, you can see silvery strands of metal interlaced with his flesh. ![]()

![]() Here is a rough version of Professor Paradigm, I haven't done a lot of his extra sorcery powers nor any hindrances, yet, just the ones he would use the most. This includes the 3 advances and 6 extra points. Let me know how he looks an I'll finish him up and make an alias for him. (This is a HeroLab output) Name: Professor Paradigm

![]() Hey Zen Fox, I got your message the other day and I wouldn't mind resurrecting an old m&m character I had, his name was Professor Paradigm and he was modeled after the Technomages of Babylon 5 fame. I could certainly turn him evil.. let me know if that works and I'll work on statting him up. ![]()
![]() I know it sounds ominous, but alas, some things have changed in my life where I need to make some adjustments. So, after almost ten years of subscribing to all things Paizo, that must come to an end. I will continue to piecemeal buy as needed and able. After the current round of orders are completed for this month, please cancel all of my subscriptions. It's been a good run and hopefully I'll be able to pick it up again in the future. Thank you. PS, I will still retain access to all my PDFs, correct? ![]()
![]() Hmm.. with those last two being situational, I think that should balance it out. Though one of the team members deciding to have a joke with him would find it a deadly one... I think the Super Reflexes does give quite a bit extra, but if it looks balanced to you, I'll go with it on the caveat that if it becomes too OP, we can dial it down a bit. +3 dice is pretty strong, plus three edges on top of it.. ![]()
![]() Dotting in and going to work on Juicer... if possible, would you allow me to convert over a Hyperion Juicer from the Juicer Rifts book? As an aside, I understand the caveat thing and I have said the same to many of my games. I myself barely get an hour or so a day on the boards, if that. So it's totally cool with me. ![]()

![]() So... being the Gamer Geek that I am, I love doing conversions of ships and mecha and, well, you get the picture. I am honestly surprised that I haven't already seen anything like it here, nor is there a Starfinder specific Conversions thread header, so I thought I'd put this in General until otherwise changed. That being said, I've been messing with the Ship Creation System and came up with my first conversion: TIE Fighter:
Sienar Fleet Systems TIE/In Fighter Tier 1/4
Apologies if this isn't supposed to go here, but if it's cool, my next project is the Mitchell-Hyundyne Aurora-class Starfury... Thoughts? ![]()

I don't want to preorder and lose out on the pdfs. Just check my name line to see how serious I am about subscriptions! :) I add my voice to this, I preordered almost everything, but I would like the PDFs as well. I will definitely be subscribing as well.. ![]()

![]() Luckily for you, I'm one of those GMs that allow taking 10 on Knowledge checks.. Drandle nods and then responds while stroking his ample gray beard. "Any extra activities will be to your discretion. Your mission is simply to get Nester there in one piece so he can complete the deal. Nester is an older man of Garundi descent. He is a resident artifact expert and will be able to identify the item the gillmen are trading with us. As for the actual route," he sits back and sighs. ![]() This actually looks fun. I played MtG when it first came out and then off and on til about 7th edition,so I'm a little out of the loop storywise, but I love dnd and would be happy to join such a game. I see a lot of interest in Black, and that would have been my choice (Sengir Vampire deck anyone? ), but since it is so prevalent, Blue or Red works too. ![]()

![]() I find that highly improbable and very odd... Nori continues to attempt to escape from the creature's grasp to no avail. Sleggar picks up the item his foot kicked, a cylindrical wooden thing that has a good heft to it. With his new weapon in hand, he moves as fast as his blind eyes will let him, occasionally tripping over the rubble on the ground. His head turns as a sound whips past his ear. Both he and Nori hear an object hit something, flesh maybe, and then suddenly Nori is freed from the clutches of the creature. Not long after, she feels a clawed hand touch her gently as it speaks. "We know you not really want give Fire Speaker this home. This our home. He take from us. We help you with creature. You help us with Fire Speaker. Yes?" Sleggar hears this as well, but neither of them can see who is speaking. Out of combat for the moment... -Posted with Wayfinder ![]()
![]() My turn.. DOSSIER: Davis, Harland Marcus: FULL NAME: Harland Marcus Davis
HEIGHT: 186 centimetres (6ft 1in. Imperial)
PRE-SERVICE HISTORY: Harland Davis was born to U.S. Marines Corps Staff Sgt. Marcus Aaron Davis and Jessica Marie Davis nee Lummox on September 5th, 1969 at approx. 12:35am local time at Bethesda Military Hospital in Maryland. His father was deployed to Vietnam during his birth and was consequently killed in the Battle of Ho Trang later that year. He never met his son. During his formative years, Harland idolized his father through stories that both his mother and grandfather told him. He spent his school years obtaining better than average grades and becoming 'a man your father would be proud of' according to his mother. Harland played high school football, obtaining a letter and a scholarship to Duke University, North Carolina. After attending school for two years and obtaining his B.A.S. in Foreign Studies, he signed on with the United States Marine Corps. SERVICE RECORD: Harland scored high marks on the ASVAB test and was awarded his choice of occupational specialty within the Marines. Choosing infantry, he passed OCS and was commissioned 2nd Lieutenant and given command of a reconnaissance platoon in Kilo Company of the 3d Battalion, 9th Marines. His unit was deployed to Panama in 1989 during Operation Just Cause. After successfully capturing a loyalist outpost and defending it against overwhelming odds, he was awarded the Navy Service Medal and the Marine Combat Medal as well as a Bronze Star. His actions gathered the attention of the budding MARSOC and he was sent to qualify for Marine Force Recon. Harland passed his initial qualifiers and after further training was given command and a promotion to 1st Lieutenant. His new unit saw action during Operation Desert Storm in Iraq. (See attached dossier addendum for full records.) During his time in Iraq, Harland met operators from the CIA funded Special Activities Division. Given his history and his friendship with said operators, he was recommended for testing and recruitment. All records after his training at Camp Peary are still *Classified-Top Secret*. AFTER SERVICE: It is unknown, due to the CIA's classification procedures, exactly what caused Harland to leave the SAD teams in 2009. What is known is that after being burned, he sought work as a civilian contractor and found the work less than appealing. Though he made a lucrative living, contacts noted him as being a 'living shell' of his formerly outgoing self. A contact put him in touch with Blackwater Professional Services, a known PMC. He signed on in 2011. His current assignment is with a United Nations Peace Operations Division in Basra. PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION: Harland's return to active duty is not without its consequences. He is still restricted in speech and thought patterns and has little to open up about. Even so, when among friends, he is easygoing and lively. It is also noted that we have no record of any intimate relationships to date. This is obviously not normal, but also not unheard of. Age has slowed his reflexes and it is obvious that this wears on him. We will continue to watch his progress and observe any indications of prior service affecting his performance. CONCLUSION: Harland Davis comes to us with a lot of experience and knowledge as well as a decent command record. His services are not only welcomed, but needed in this situation. That said, keep an eye on him. His blacked out history with the CIA is... unnerving.

![]() Okay.. made a couple of changes based on your suggestions. It does work out a little better with Skill point economy. My Advances I used were to get two skill points to fighting and shooting and then a boost to agility. My hindrance points I used to get two more attribute boosts. I want him to be well rounded but have some specialty skills. Normally an Operator like him would be at least Seasoned, but his age and stint with civilian life took a bit of his edge off... He grew up in a traditional Marine family and when it was is turn, he qualified for MARSOC and became a member of a Force Recon Team. His unit's exploits got him an invitation to Tier 1 Operations and eventually a direct invite from the director of NCS to join the CIA SAD. He revelled in his duties at first, but one mission sent him sideways and he decided he couldn't stomach some of what they were having him do. One of his teammates, seeing an opportunity for promotion, ratted Harland out for not completing an assignment and he was summarily dismissed and put up RED. He tried to make a living in the civilian world, but it never suited him. Contacting some old friends, he decided to become part of a PMC and sold his services to them for a couple of years. His current assignment is in Basra with the UN Peacekeepers. He recently found out however that his old teammates are trying to recruit him back into the fold... The container the cranes were holding up starts listing to one side and it comes down to about ten feet off the floor. Macomb swears he hears something over the din of the panicking soldiers but isn't able to pick it out because right then, Smith's AK barks and turns one of the soldiers into a fountain of crimson. The rest of them start setting up behind cover. Last round of activity before new initiative, Majors had made it outside. Macomb's weapon is clear. . -Posted with Wayfinder ![]()
