Anahita bint Tariq |

Why do I have a feeling Anahita would break Vare...?
Vare watches her go a moment, casting a spell to increase his own strength. It likely still wouldn't match hers, but any little bit helps. When she moves faster than anticipated away, he takes off - sprints as fast as his robes allow, and steping through the dimensions to close the gap somewhat. (Conjuration school Dimensional Steps)
While he's athletic enough, his pace is still that of a normal human, and with no woodsman skill, Vare knows that if he loses sight of her even momentarily, he may not be able to locate her again. And so while he does run, if at any point she attempts to duck behind a tree or bush, Vare once again steps through the dimensions to ensure he didn't lose her. His heart was thumping back and his breathing quick, and not entirely from the excercise either.
Vare's limits his use of magic unless strictly nescessary to keep the going, wanting to catch her with his own body rather than some trick of magic - an unspoken part of the game, from his perspective.
Realistically, Vare doesn't stand a chance of catching Anahita without the use of his magic to facilitate, but he finds he is enjoying the chase, and is putting all of his physical might towards it, even if the only way he'll ever catch her is if she allows it.
Sure enough, at one point, Vare realizes, she's stealthed into hiding, and there's that moment of ... 'where did she go?!' Heart beating from the running and all the exercise and rushing around.
Then, out of no where, she pounces onto Vare, in a take down of sorts, (unless he spooks too much), with her rolling with him for a few moments, adding to the high of the chase, and then a moment of slight shock at surprise.
Once they stop the rolling, she's on his side, an arm and leg draped over him, laughing and holding him tightly. Scooting up, she kisses his face, slightly unskilled, and then play bites around the neck and shoulder, stopping to grin at his face.
"Perhaps it should be me hunting you, no? Hahaa.. oh Vare, this is exhilarating. I'm not sure what exactly to do, but..." at that point, she's trying to pull his clothing down around his neck, smelling at him and the like, clearly, a bit animal like in her manner.
"These sensations in me, Vare-- are maddening. I would know what we should do, straight away, or ...perhaps, merely, find calmness in ourselves and be near one another? I don't know what to do exactly, nor how to act in this moment, only the experience of animals I've witness guide me and there are so many options. Fear too. I am not a beast. Yet, that is a lot of what I know. What... my mind is a whirlwind of thoughts, yet the fire within me burns."
Still laying halfway atop him, her athletic frame pulled down by gravity, she smiles and says with her hand running across his chest while the other caresses his hair and face, "What should we do? I am unsure what to do, yet my body is eager." She too is clearly in the state of arousal, though mostly seen in her face.

"No, I was trying very politely to say that I swear too much and was asking that you boys not repeat any of the less than savory things I said. I'd rather not get in trouble with your teachers."
She made a face at the thought of more meditation. "Are you sure that meditation is really the answer here? It's just so....boring."

Lang Fei |

No meditation is not the answer. meditation is the glue that make the real answer clear. you see, master Hito has taught me the at the end of each day we should meditate on the happenings of the day and piece together all we have learned, reflect on our words and deeds of the day and seek peace within ourselves that we have stayed true to ourselves
Lang is happy she is willing to listen.
but before mediation there must be activity, a learning, an action that we can grow from. we must balance out mind, our body and our soul. and I think we should work on our body first because it is the most fun

I do so love puzzles like this one"
can't be recorded =)
"so did the man say he was a changeling? Or is your friend of a friend assuming? Scents are like faces are they not? Two people on opposite sides of the world can have the same face...or maybe he was mimicking my scent..." The man says after a long drink of something that smells foul

"I think the purple evening gown looked better on you than this dress. Pink ruffles just aren't quite working for you....maybe this green striped dress instead..." she said, offering feedback as Zilla tried on clothes, helping with buttons as needed. "What do you think, Midori?"

Rena, the Companion |

... snip!...
"You don't seem that shy, Tryko'Sam." Rena says playfully, flicking her tail towards him playfully, obviously - in the tone of her voice if nothing else - not overly concerned with his secretiveness, and enjoying his company.
"Okay, I can pretend to be like that. There are many of those kinds of people in the world, though I think I am a bit big to be a familiar." Rena says playfully, closing the gap between their walking somewhat, and taking on a more servile posture in relation to him, as if he were her master.
"I hope they don't freak out... but I can fly and they cannot. I won't leave you behind Tryko'Sam, if things... 'get ugly' as you put it, hold onto me and I will fly us away. I will not drop you, I promise. And no... not telepathic, don't worry about that, nor do I.. camoflage or turn invisible... at least not without Vare casting a spell on me."
Rena herself seems to be getting a bit excited at the prospect, though she doesn't abandon her new role as Tryko'Sam's companion/pet/familiar/etc, keeping her submissive posture, even if it's not reflected in her words.

Ardiente |

Ryleh nodded. "Come downstairs then. It's where I keep all of my scrying equipment," she said leading the way down to her lair.
"I apologize for the interruption to our conversation Sheessuroussen, but my grandchildren require my assistance with an urgent matter. I am not sure yet how long this will take."
Ardiente had taken back the stack of papers from Fieri before they headed downstairs, or at least half of them if she makes a fuss about it.
Ardiente bows deeply to Grandma's guest, an older man... he looks back and forth between the two, but doesn't say anything. Ryleh would've introduced him differently if he was also family, after all. "I ask your pardon for interrupting, Sheessuroussen. We only have a few days after all, before the Sun is dismantled, and we'd like to do as much as possible before then."
He follows along with Ryleh wherever she leads.

Vai Sunwake |

Vai catches Jiminy on his way to the hatchery as he just returned from the factory. He'd been later than usual even for him because he'd had to take a break in the middle of the day to comfort a distraught Fi.
"Oh, hey, Vai....how's your day going?"
"Could have been better, to be completely honest." she says and stops him with a hug, wanting the comfort only an older brother could bring. "Fei... we almost lost him today. We had to bring him back from the edge of..."
She pauses a moment and takes a shaky breath. "He's fine now though... maybe more than fine." there's a hint of a smile there at the end, as Vai remembers the kiss they shared in the infirmary.
"Anyway. He really is fine now, and... I haven't gotten a chance to talk to Fi or Elle or anyone else yet. How are they doing? I still owe you some time too, remember?" Vai finally releases her older brother, smiling up at him, and brushing the hair out of her face.

Midori Tsuyomi |

Midori's reaction to the utterly pink room had been virtually the opposite of Zilla's, obviously not liking the whole frilly pink thing. Still, she doesn't say anything bad about it. People liked different things after all.
She had listened quietly to Zilla-chan's talk about stories and princes and princesses... she couldn't really remember any stories like that which had made her want to be a part of them. They all sounded scary usually.
"Hai... too many pink ruffles and you will really look like a doll, Zilla-chan." Midori is digging through the pile of clothing, looking for something a little more practical than dresses and gowns, though not expecting to find much. "Maybe this one?" she says, pulling out a dark blue dress which looked easy enough to move in.

Vare, the Summoner |

...snip!...
During their rolling and her displays of affection, Vare lets her guide them, and mirrors her actions of kissing and playful biting, letting his instincts guide him. When she begins to tug at his clothes, he feels a little overwhelmed himself. "Miss Anahita..." he says thoughtlessly, without much to follow. She may feel that his strength is greater than it was previously - though she may have noticed him work his spell when she first began the chase, which would make it no surprise.
As always, though, he seems unsure of his hands and their placement on her, through the chaotic energies surrounding her in the Dream.. eventually though he does find her waist and settles his hands there enjoying the feeling of her curves through her desert wear, pressed against him or otherwise.
"I... also feel the same fire, Miss Anahita." a fire which is only stoked as she caresses him with her hands. Apparently, the normally talkative Vare is at something of a loss for words. He simply begins to tug at her top, looking to remove it from the equation entire when suddenly...
::Professor, this may not be the best course of action to take with a student.::
A telepathic voice intrudes into Vare's mind, clearing away the muddled thoughts of passion, and his hands stop at their tugging, leaving Anahita still fully clothed. She can easily sense that something has changed in his demeanor, the passion from before seeming to flood out in a rather rapid fashion. He doesn't immediately say anything, but whatever he was about to do has been cut short, and the colour in his face drains away as well, though his hands do not come away either.
::Huh? Headmaster... you have been watching us? Is there... a social taboo?:: Vare's telepathic voice sounds confused and muddled - obviously the thinking part of him not quite working yet.
While he replies to the Headmaster, he looks up to Anahita, his eyes still unable to find a place to focus on her - as always. "Perhaps we should find the calmness you speak of, for a moment, Miss Anahita." he says, sounding a little worried now, as the thinking part of his brain begins to take hold again. "The Headmaster... he believes we are not acting wisely."

Vare, the Summoner |

::Headmaster, I have never felt so alive as I do when I am with her.:: he argues, shifting slightly and looking at Anahita's shifting form so near to him.
::I do not wish to... endanger my employment. But... she's... incredible.:: he sounds confused again, unsure. He had not met a Professor Reading.

Tryko'Sam |

"You don't seem that shy, Tryko'Sam." Rena says playfully, flicking her tail towards him playfully, obviously - in the tone of her voice if nothing else - not overly concerned with his secretiveness, and enjoying his company.

"Yeah, well .. I try to be humble sometimes. It's a work in progress. Plus I have what people call, natural charisma." He shrugs. "Insecure people don't seem to like me, I rub them the wrong way or something-- someone explained it once. I remind them of what they don't have, and then, they get defensive and freak out or whatever."
Grinning, he then says, "Okay, we walk into town then. We'll see what people say-- if it gets ugly, we'll try to fall back and go from there, deal? I'd offer to high five you, but-- no hands. No offense. High wing slap?"
He offers to 'slap' her wing, over her shoulder, as a gesture.

While he replies to the Headmaster,...
Laying there, for a moment, all the energy and thrill in her form, she is quickly and keenly aware of his pausing and drain of passion. She frowns and then, once he explains, she peers around, glaring.
"We are in the forest-- who is he to tell us what is against nature? So his so called school is in fact, with conditions and false pretenses? Just like all the damnable illusions thrown here and there? Is this some sort of civilized law imposed upon us without discussion or agreement?"
With a frown, she looks back at Vare, a flare of anger on her face, after all, interrupted in the heat of passion as it were, especially for this being so new and rich!
"What is he doing? Scrying on us? Have we no privacy then? What--" Anahita clearly doesn't feel embarrassed, as much as, violated by some other voyeur. That should be clear.
She moves briefly off Vare, her face a mask of contempt, yet not at Vare, obviously, while the ancient visage of hers in the Dream rolls her eyes and the adult face looks a bit surprised and confused.
"Why is he speaking only with /you/? There are two of us here-- and this is perfectly natural." A bit of a shout there, looking around again.

Rena, the Companion |

"Well, you do not remind me of what I do not have, Tryko'Sam, but rather what I could have - friends. Thank you. That sounds like a good plan." she looks somewhat confused and his offer to slap her wing, but she obliges, somewhat curious, bringing her wing up to meet his hand.
Rena plays the part of a companion well, tagging along submissively beside Tryko'Sam, trying to make herself look as small as possible. She only flinches slightly at the fat man's superstition, but stays with Tryko'Sam.

As they enter further into the town a young girl with golden hair and a missing tooth runs up to the pair of them. "Are you an imaginary friend?" She says excitedly. She whispers to them. "are you her person? I have a Friend but I'm scared. My momma and papa say she isn't real. I can't show them cause they might make her leave. Can you help me?" she seems very concerned. She doesn't explain very well because she is young and doesn't quite understand herself.

Tryko'Sam |

Tryko'Sam's reactions are ..initially to the man, a smile and a wave, not really concerned.
"He just called you a devil, in what I call Spanish. Cool-- we got Spanish speakers here. By the way, what are you, besides winged snake girl that is pretty smart?"
Turning back to the man backing up, Tryko'Sam says, "Hey there, friend-- nothing to fear here, this is a sentient and intelligent creature, not a threat to you at all, unless you are afraid. She won't hurt you in the least, any more than you would, say ...your own family, if you have one and they aren't .. well, a$*~#%*s or something."
Rambling, he does attempt some diplomacy. He is very charismatic, like Captain America naturally is with humanity.
Then, walking along, spotting the littler girl walking up, Tryko'Sam grins and says, "Hey there, cutie. No no.. we're not imaginary, but, if you have a friend that is, you should never feel bad or uncomfortable about it. Heck, when I was much younger, I used to play with toy dolls and talk to myself imagining someone was talking to me back," which might explain a few things, "so if your friend is a nice friend, that's not going to hurt or harm anyone, we'd be happy to try and help you. That's what heroes do. Right, Rena?" He grins and stands there dramatically, beaming a charismatic smile at Rena and the little girl.
>> Awesome! Best evening so far on a brand new planet. <<
Looking back at the man, he adds, "See friend? This little girl isn't afraid of my companion Rena, nor should you be."

"I have NO idea. For some reason a rather large amount of the curriculum in meditation class involves examining pebbles. Oh, but the advanced class got to contemplate a single leaf," she added making a face. "At least sitting on top of a big rock gives some incentive for staying awake since I imagine falling asleep in such a precarious position would be...painful."

I think you need a new meditation class. I will help teach you everything I learned from master Hito. or if you like we can go to my home and you can learn directly from him. but I would be honored if you would learn under me

And then Tryko'sam with his take of heroes, and that causes her to smile. "She's right, little one. Everyone thought I was my friend's imaginary friend at first... but here I am, real as anything." She flicks her tail forward, allowing the child to touch her if she wanted to.

"You do?" he asks, confused. "Oh! Right, the stealth thing! Umm....I don't really have the specs for that with me...and I'd need your feedback on them. I really need to get the bugs worked out of this."
"With the firebird sun being dismantled among other crises it's been a bit distracting today. I'm very glad that Fei is alright now. Uh...oh, I guess Fi is in the middle of some project involving Grandma and Ardiente. Not really sure about the details. She's being vague. Bet Grandma was happy to meet him though. Not sure what Elle is up to."

Melody Waverider |

Melody makes her way as quickly as possible to her new room hoping her new roommate isn't there.

Then she remembers something and practically bounces with excitement. "Wait.. Ignace-chan did you say you finished the yukata?"
"Yes, I have them here," she said patting the tote bag she'd been carrying with her. "I wanted to finish them tonight because I'm going to be busy tomorrow."

Vai Sunwake |

"You're heading to the hatchery right? I could get my harp... I haven't played for them in a couple days. I think Elle is talking with Morrivan.. I remember something about that." Vai says, a little unsure. It had been a while since she just spent time with James after all.

Ryleh leads them to the part of the incredibly large cavern that held an array of scrying equipment; bowls, mirrors, crystals and more lined up in row after row.
"First we should separate out the living from the dead."
"Sheesuroussen, you are welcome to stay if you wish, but I'm afraid that this is rather dull work and it could go on for some time. I understand if you need to leave to check on your young charge."

Jiminy, Prankster of the Future |

"Yeah, at least until Pheebs shows up and kicks me out," he said with a wink. "That sounds like a good idea. I like listening to you play," he said, ruffling her hair.

Zilla |

Midori shakes her head modestly. "I just thought it would look good, Zilla-chan."
Then she remembers something and practically bounces with excitement. "Wait.. Ignace-chan did you say you finished the yukata?"
"You shouldn't be so modest Midori. You have a great eye."
Zilla joins her excitment flying through the air trying to see the outfits. "Oh oh I want to see you both in them!" She announces.

"Sheesuroussen, you are welcome to stay if you wish, but I'm afraid that this is rather dull work and it could go on for some time. I understand if you need to leave to check on your young charge."
Ryleh can tell that he would much rather stay... but he inclines his head to the two grand children and bows fully to her, "good night young ones."
and proceeds to turn to leave...
Ardiente and Raelle are mindblown now

Roel |

roel has been covering that up, after anahita told him to.
"Um... I think i got that. I won't hurt you, as long as you don't touch me while i distracted."
he bubbles a bit when you pick up your club, it sounds almost like a person's laughing through water.
"And even i meant to hurt you, that thing wouldn't do you much good!"

Ardiente |

Ryleh leads them to the part of the incredibly large cavern that held an array of scrying equipment; bowls, mirrors, crystals and more lined up in row after row.
"First we should separate out the living from the dead."
"Sheesuroussen, you are welcome to stay if you wish, but I'm afraid that this is rather dull work and it could go on for some time. I understand if you need to leave to check on your young charge."
Ardiente watches the older gentleman leave with a somewhat puzzled expression, but turns his attention to the task at hand. "Is there anything I can do to assist? Sorting through the records? I'm not a spellcaster." he says simply, not ashamed of it, just trying to let Ryleh know.

Midori Tsuyomi |

"You shouldn't be so modest Midori. You have a great eye."
Zilla joins her excitment flying through the air trying to see the outfits. "Oh oh I want to see you both in them!" She announces.
"Hai!!" Midori exclaims, suddenly very excited about this. She immediately begins to strip down, modesty forgotten in the company of other girls.

Lang Fei |

Lang Fei wrote:"Well, I suppose it can't hurt to try. The current class is definitely not working for me, I agree with that. I don't do still very well. It's right up there with thinking before acting," she joked, trying to use humor to come to grips with her chaotic emotions.I think you need a new meditation class. I will help teach you everything I learned from master Hito. or if you like we can go to my home and you can learn directly from him. but I would be honored if you would learn under me
Lang stands and bows before Ori
Lang seems happy at her decision
great how about tomorrow after I get back from my trip. Until then I recommend relaxing walks in the gardens in particular around flowers that have pleasant aromas.
